I have recently been surprised by some new implementations/announcements that are very disruptive to my work (specifically, the change in the fund search function and the announcement that there will now be a Donate button next to the grant request button in the advisor portal). Can there be a more democratic process for the ideas that get implemented? Currently it seems that the process is to get some/lots of votes in Idea Lab or to be an "important" person/organization and get your wishes granted.

    At the very least, can we have a downvote option in Idea Lab so we can…

  3. I would love to be able to bulk edit nonprofit radial buttons, categories and status. I am spending all day today checking boxes when it could be done in literally 10 minutes. Please consider this for future users!

  4. For our Tribute letters, the Salutation merge field populates with the first and last name of the recipient. Would it be possible to have it just populate with the first name of the person or the couple receiving the letter? This would make the letter less formal, especially when it is being sent to any donors that we have a long-standing relationship with. I saw a post where this change was implemented for the Tax Receipt template, so I'm hopeful this would be an easy fix for Tribute templates as well. Thank you! Kelley H.

  5. Hi - it would be great if the screen showing duplicates would indicate what type of record it is, particularly if a record is a student. With just a giant list of names, it is hard to pick out the ones the student aid team needs to look at. (or a fund holder, or vendor etc) OR the date the duplicate was added. OR the number of times the record shows. If we have 3 John Lennons and one was created last week, we might be able know who needs to fix it at a glance.

  6. Upon searching I see this was noted in 2023 but do not see that it was ever addressed. We had to inactivate a bunch of addresses that were provided by NCOA and we noticed that when selecting the "print envelope" feature within a person or organization's profile, all of the listed addresses populate to select from...even the "inactive" ones. Because of this you have to select the back button to confirm the active address. Please list only the active addresses and the top option should be the primary address. Please do not show the inactive addresses.

  7. It would be really nice to add back the feature to hide the funded amount for each grant and the beginning of a grant catalogue. None of the grants are funded yet so it looks like there is no support for the programs that are requesting support we used to have this feature where you could hide funded and it would not show the funded amount for each Grant request but it instead would show the requested amount only for each grant request, I’m not sure why they took away this feature, but it is very helpful because it allows…

  8. When a donation/grant is INTERNAL, please show in the description field, or the trefname field that has the grant number, the name of the fund where the donation is originating from. Please have this show up in reporting.

  10. I'd like an enhancements to the Import Relationships tool. That functionality allows us to import profile link relationships, profile to profile relationships to CSuite in bulk. I am looking import profile-fund links where I can link the profile to the fund and the fund category in bulk via CSV import. This would allow me to in bulk add relationships that we are trying to keep track of that we didn't track prior to our import to CSuite.

  11. The grant request status labels in the fund portal are inconsistent. A grant in the Approval bucket will be approval when viewed in Fund Summary and Grant History, but Pending in Grant Request. A grant in the New bucket will be new when viewed in Fund Summary and Grant History but Pending in Grant Request. Would be clearer for the user if these were the same terms.

  12. It would be extremely helpful to be able to bulk add/link donations to an opportunity. We are seeing more and more memorial contributions, which sometimes result in the creation of a fund. I will go back and link these donations, sometimes in the hundreds, to the opportunity, which can be very tedious.

  13. It would be helpful to allow multiple types of entries in the donor portal when a fundholder is requesting a grant. For example, if a fundholder types "$25,000" including a dollar sign and a comma, an error sign comes up ("must be a decimal number".) The fundholder needs to type in 25000 for the grant to go through. Allowing $25,000 would help reduce frustration.

  14. Profiles Browse screen - indicate inactive individuals, households, organizations. We use this screen to check for naming protocols, incomplete names, misspelled names, etc. It would be extremely helpful to show which profiles are inactive (red font), and also be able to sort right on this screen.

  19. Same Beneficiary, Different Purpose: We have a fund whose fund advisor wishes the funding to be sent all to the same organization but for two different purposes. Currently we work this out by having the organization as the beneficiary to receive 75% of the funding for one purpose, and then we've set up a recurring grant for the organization for the separate purpose, but we have to manually adjust the amount each year. It would be great if we could set up the beneficiary twice for the two different purposes.

  20. While reviewing fund statements, at times a statement may be skipped/not marked reviewed due to some issue with it that needs to be researched, etc. Going back later to find those few statements that still need review out of a list of 900+ statements is cumbersome by just scrolling through the list looking for those without a review date. It would be helpful to have a option to show only "Not Reviewed" statements in the batch.
