  2. It is very rare that a custom report needs to be shared with every employee, typically just one other person or a team. It would be very helpful to be able to select from the user list which employees you want to share with and be able to edit who you shared with at anytime. This will avoid the custom report page from getting overwhelmingly long for everyone.

  3. When a scholarship becomes a grant there is no way to open all the custom fields for editing, like you can with an original grant. We currently have to select each one individually to edit and we have a lot. Can an edit custom field function on the left nav bar be added?

  4. For endowed funds, We would like there to be an option somewhere in the donation process for a donor to select whether they would like their donation to go towards the principal or spendable balance of the fund.

    Right now all donations are automatically applied to the principal but we have some donors that will make a contribution to the spendable balance of a fund in order to cover the difference for a grant/scholarship going out.

  5. If you post a voucher before you add the campaign, you must unpost it before the campaign can be added. It would be easier if you can add a campaign to a posted voucher, similar to adding a campaign to a posted donation.

    With every other function, a user can add the campaign after the entry is posted except when dealing with vouchers. It is extremely frustrating to have to un-post, edit and repost to add a Champaign or change if required.

    This idea has been achieved before.... But I think it would be very helpful.

  6. Please change the Allow Profile Edit setting in Portal Settings to be on a per designation basis as opposed to an all-or-nothing setting.

    For instance, it would be great to allow fund advisor to edit their profile information in the portal but restrict nonprofits from doing so. This is not currently possible as the Allow Profile Edit setting applies to all or none depending on whether or not it is enabled.

    Essentially, include the Allow Profile Edit checkbox on each designations' settings as opposed to just the general profile settings.

  7. We would love to be able to add a fund's anniversary (this could be at the fund advisor level?) with a letter template option to send a "Thank your for partnering with us" letter on the anniversary date.

  8. When depositing a returned grant, the only payment type is check. We most often get returned grants electronically and therefore, the payment type is incorrect.

  9. We currently do not share donation amounts with fundholders or fund advisors; however, we are possibly implementing an affiliate program where we would consider sharing this information. It would be great if we could set who can see donation amounts at the fund advisor level instead of the fund level. If we have multiple fund advisors on a fund, we can only turn on/shut off donation amounts using "Hide Amounts" at the fund level. That means all fund advisors have the same permissions. We may want one fund advisor or affiliate to have access, while not giving another fund advisor…

  10. When running reports, it would be helpful to expand filtering options in general. For example, I can currently add a filter for "Ref" under the Notes report and stipulate "NOT profilepayment" but I cannot add multiples such as "NOT profilepayment and NOT donation". The help desk said the only way to do this would be to build multiple reports. I've run into this filtering limitation with other reports/fields as well.

  11. It would be great to have the option to export the Positive Pay report as a CSV file since that is the requirement with our bank. It would also be very helpful to have the option to request how the data columns are formatted in the generated Positive Pay report. Our bank requires the data columns in a different arrangement than what is generated in C-Suite. Every week I will need to transfer the TXT file into an Excel document to make the column adjustments and to save it as a CSV file. This is a lot of extra work…

  12. We had an attached file removed by the system and it was only by chance that it was noticed.

    An auto email notifying of removal, or the ability to have on demand or regularly scheduled reports listing removed files so they can be re-uploaded would be useful.

  13. Currently, donation receipts show in list before posted for receipts. If they only appeared after posted, it would reduce the potential error in sending out a donation receipt too early, but allow for a placeholder to be made.

  14. We would like to be able to update the MFA communication from Foundant when our clients login to the Fund Portal. Currently the MFA sends a text with just numbers. Some of our Fund Advisors are weary of Spam/Phishing. Can we add the ability to customize the message.

    Example: Austin Community Foundation is sending your one time passcode: 000000

  15. Please add a description to the open promise/pledge page under a profile. We can currently only see ID, Donor, Type, Date, Amount. It would be helpful to see a Description that would allow user to know which promise we need to apply funding towards. Without more information, we must click into every single ID until we find the precise entry needed.

  16. When a public security donation comes in to an investment account for a fund that is associated with a different account, a balance swap recommendation appears as of that donation date. It should not show up until the sale of those securities has been recorded, so the swap amount equals the actual cash in hand rather than the donation value. Without a change, errors can easily occur and create confusion with reconciliation of transactions at the end of the month.

  17. Please make the grant categories/grant types optional for populating at the top of the catalogs. They push down the catalog too far and the search bar is fine for navigating. Please and thank you.

  18. If an online grant request is submitted and the grantee is changed by a staff member before the grant is created, the log should show us the original information. It only shows the original grantee IF the original was already a profile. If the grantee was manually entered, and a staff member changed the grantee to an existing profile, the original grantee is blank in the log.

    Please add a log of all grantee information from the original request (grantee name, address, etc.) if it was entered manually and then the grantee was changed before the grant was created.

It would be helpful to have the ability to assign a default Bank/GL account to specific funds, so that when vouchers are created for those funds, the system pre-populates the designated account. This would streamline AP workflows and reduce the chance of user error, especially for organizations that manage legacy funds with dedicated legacy bank accounts.

    Organizations managing multiple legacy funds that have their own bank account(s) need a reliable way to ensure vouchers tied to those funds are consistently paid from the correct account without relying on filtering or memory.
