  1. Having administrative Internal answers from a previous grant application (for example, we have in Internal question group where we provide additional information for our grant review committee) copy into a new grant application when the applicant is using the copy feature from their last cycle request is not ideal.

  2. In SLM, I think it's good to make a telephone number a required field, but it would be nice to have a checkbox next to it to categorize it as "Mobile" or "Mobile #" since most students these days only have that anyway. Otherwise, they end up typing their mobile number in the second field needlessly.

  3. We would like to be able to preset the dates that each follow-up form will be assigned. We have forms that we only want to be completed within a certain period of time but would like to be able to set up the assignments when the Application is approved so we don't have to go back and assign the follow ups at a later date. This should also send the notification email when the form is therefore assigned and available and not at the time that we preset it up.

  4. In addition to being able to share a question to one form from another, it would be great if I could share a whole question group from one form to another. It would be a great time-saver.

  5. It would be helpful if you could customize (at least one column) on the Organizational Summary page. For example, "Type" is not useful to us, but "Amount Requested" would be. Our Trustees often award more or less than the organization requested and it would be helpful to see this information.

  6. We have many users with the roles of Evaluator and Applicant, which poses a problem because we cannot restrict their Evaluator role by process nor can we modify the permissions of the Evaluator role. We just had a user with dual roles answer the "internal visibility" questions on their own grant application.

  7. I need there to be a way to mass update opportunities in a universe. Going in one at a time to 150+ scholarship names to change it from 2023 to 2024 is maddening and not an effective use of time.

  8. It would be nice to have a 'phone number' question type to select when creating an application so that the applicant doesn't have to worry about how to format their phone number when entering it. Something like --xxxx would be great so that every phone number entry followed the same formating.

  9. Provide a metric that shows the ratio of applications that received an award to the total number of applications submitted. It can help measure the competitiveness and success of the grant program.

  10. I noticed that if I'm in the Contact Email History page and I sort by date sent, it sorts by the month and day and seems to disregard year. For example, 08/26/2022 comes before 08/17/2023. The sort really needs to consider the year.

  11. Maybe this exists already....it would be so helpful to be able to filter evaluators by process - we have a committee for each grant and clicking through each time while referring to the original committee list is cumbersome. If I could filter evaluators to only show the ones who would score a particular grant program, I could get through assignments much quicker.

  12. There have been many occasions over the years where I wanted to pull data into a merge template or an email template, but certain fields were not available. I would like to have the power within the GLM product to generate custom documents and emails, rather than having to go outside of the system to accomplish these tasks, feeding the desired data via a report downloaded to an Excel spreadsheet.

  14. Now that the software provides options of creating merge documents in Word or PDF, it would be nice to be able to set one as default or if the software defaulted to the last type used. Scrolling down to choose one gets tedious if you are doing many documents and you can't necessarily do them as a batch.

  15. When you go to create documents, place "Choose File Type" at top of box above document listing. I have a long list of documents and can't see "Choose File Type;" although I'm learning, I frequently don't understand why clicking "Create Document" doesn't do anything.

  17. It would be helpful to allow applicants to add rows/columns to tables in the event they need more space than we have built out. The function would need to be made so that the admin could lock rows and columns if needed so that the applicant cannot add fields outside of summary rows, for example.

  18. We would like the ability to 'Close' an application, rather than 'abandon' or 'deny'. We leverage GLM to have a General Inquiry, which we then copy applications to different processes depending on a conversation with the applicant. Once we're done - not moving forward through the system, it causes confusion for the applicant to see the original as denied/abandoned.

  19. We often have to turn off automatic e-mails for short period of times when we work on individual requests and do not want the applicant to receive a notification.

    Sometimes, we forget to turn the automatic e-mail back on in the tool manager and it creates confusion.

    It would be great to be able to toggle off (an on) automatic e-mails for an individual request, directly in the request.

  20. It would be great if administrators could permit other users (eg board members) access to the metrics dashboard. It is a great summary of the foundation giving and would be helpful for others to view
