Vetting new organizations
As a community foundation, we fund mainly around one county in NJ. We often see folks starting a profile in GLM that are clearly way outside of our region. We've had one organization that started a profile with fake information (e.g., 555-5555 phone number, and a fake website etc). Was wondering if there is a way of limiting who is able to start a profile in our system? eligibility center slm
In the SLM Eligibility Center, I would like to request a "What Changed" update screen after rerunning eligibility on an applicant. Currently the process just re-runs, and it is up to the user to determine what changes to the application's eligibility occurred. This is particularly problematic if the changes include removing/being un-matched with an opportunity, because the user must then go abandon that opportunity for the student if we do not want them to have the ability to apply without being actually eligible. New Header Search Bar
The new header search bar is currently only available to Administrators and not the Grants Manager role. We would like to see it available to both rolls as it's almost more critical/useful for the Grants Manager roll than the top Admins.
Additionally, my testing of the search bar has shown it to be inconsistent so far. Once I type a word into the search bar, often times nothing happens. I have gotten it to work, but it's been hit or miss. It might be helpful to have the magnifier icon clickable so that we can manually click it or hit…

Filter option when looking at organization history.
It would be very helpful to have a filter function when applicants (in our case, organization primary contacts) are viewing their organization history. Right now, they have to sort / scroll past all abandoned applications, cannot filter by date, etc.

Eligibility Center Overhaul
We use an eligibility quiz on many of our processes and I think the Eligibility Center could use an update.
1. Add the ability to search by Organization Name rather than First and Last Name of the applicant.
2. The Eligibility Results and Eligibility Submissions tabs are similar enough that they should be one tab that allows the administrator to see whether the submission passed or failed, view the answers, and reset/reopen the quiz.

Allow evaluation fields to be pulled into merge templates
As the evaluation fields cannot be pulled into merge templates, we have built our due diligence processes into an internal-only section of the application form. As a result, this means that the application is extremely long, and we are needing to continuously scroll up and down to review the required information. It would be much better if we could have a side-by-side view, such as you get with the evaluation stage.
We could build the due diligence into the evaluator 1 stage to do this, but none of the fields could then be included in our merge templates. If these…4 votes -

The new Organization Summary for administrators is missing the "organization email history". Viewing the email history is necessary in my documentation process.

We would like the capabilities to delete organizations and users so we can clean up our GLM database.
We currently have an organization that we cannot delete due to a charity check that was conducted. Although this organization has no requests or contacts associated with it, the charity check issue prevents us from removing it. We also would like to have the ability to delete old users who are not tied to our grant applications, not just make them inactive. We currently do not use a CRM program and have used GLM as our main source for data.

Automatic email FROM our evaluators once they have completed an evaluation
We should be able to receive an automatic email from our evaluators once they have completed an evaluation. This would be a time-saving program enhancement for scholarship management.

Show 'default' balance on face of fund record
Consider adding the default (earnings) balance to the face of the fund record, at the top with the rest of the balances. Working in Finance, I have gotten questions about why the fund balance is different from the principal and other similar inquiries. The data exists and the account exists, so it should be easily implemented.

I would love to be able to organize/rearrange the files I upload into the Shared Documents. A drag and drop feature like the e-mail templates would be fantastic.

Add And/Or Search Options to Search Requests & Decisions
We'd love to have the option to use the "Search Requests & Decisions" function in GLM to quickly figure out how much we've granted to an organization. Unfortunately, some of our larger grantees have used different fiscal sponsors over the years, so we are unable to get an idea of the number of grants and their amounts through the "Search" and "Quick Export" tab. Can we have the option to have an "Add" and "Or" button so we could target multiple specific organizations or request titles? Thanks!

Minimum Character Count
We currently have the option of a maximum character count, but I would love to have the option of implementing a minimum as well. It would be very helpful on application questions, especially since there are a lot of varying expectations for the length of a "short answer/essay."

Add Eligibility tab to Organization record
We would like to see the history of Eligibility Quizzes taken for an Organization within the Organization record, rather than having to do a search in the Eligibility Center (which we would have to do for all dates, then sort by Organization, since there's no search criteria for Organization). Our program folks believe this information would be useful in giving a an overall picture of an organization.

Custom Fields on Scholarships
We need to be able to track scholarship specific information (such as associated high school, minimum award amounts, maximum award amounts, criteria, funding use limitations, etc.). Custom fields on scholarships that are REPORTABLE are needed! Custom fields on awards or funds won't suffice because a fund can have multiple scholarships and an award is too far downstream in the workflow. SLM doesn't allow for tracking of this information either so without custom fields in CSuite we are forced to continue tracking this information in Excel :(

We would like to
We currently have 3 administrators. The first administrator views each submitted application and then moves it to the complete status for the next 2 administrators to complete their reviews. We would like to see if an auto generated email could be set up to alert the other administrators when that application has been moved into the complete bucket.

Merge Template
When creating a merge document, it would be nice to be able to choose at the top of the screen, whether or not it is a .pdf or .doc. Scrolling to the bottom of the list of merge templates takes extra time, especially when creating many merge docs. It would also be very nice to be able to choose one type of document and all of your merge docs would be that type of document until you toggle it off.

AI Summary Expansion & Permissions
Allow other non-applicant roles (Evaluator, Program Officer) the ability to generate AI summaries with the site admin managing this access through permissions that can be set at both a user and role level.

Side by Side Questions on Form
Previous similar requests have been archived. I am revising this request, hoping it will gain traction.
It would be nice to be able to drag and drop, or place questions next to each other than have them just cascade down the page. If a question was short enough, it would be nice to save space and place it next to another short question. This would be beneficial for multiple radio button or drop down questions.

Report for Visibility by Question on Form
It would be extremely helpful to be able to run a report that gives the current visibility status for each individual question on a form. We change visibility on our LOI after our initial review is complete. In addition to needing to change the visibility setting on each question one by one, currently we can only validate that the setting have been correctly updated by manually reviewing each question again, one by one. Thank you for your consideration of this capability!
