  1. It would be great to be given the control to determine when our organization sends automatic emails. I would like to send automatic emails when we deny a request and even approve a request but as a Foundant user I am restricted. Denial emails are possibly the biggest concern because you have to navigate in this backhanded way to even be able to send a bulk denial email. Once you deny a request it no longer shows up on your dashboard so it is out of sight, out of mind, and you are relying on an understaffed organization to remember…

  2. In the GLM, I often use the Request History tab of an organization in my work. I would really like to be able to see a column with the amount of each grant request from that organization even if the grant was denied. Additionally, I believe this "Amount Requested" column would be helpful for both approved and denied grants because sometimes our board approves of only a portion of the requested funds.

  3. Currently we request financial audits at the application and report stage in a grant cycle. This often means the same audit lives in two places.

    I would be great if users could upload files (audits, in this case) to the Organization Documents tab to keep everything in one place.

  4. If a grant recipient has not completed required reporting within a specified timeframe AND has been unresponsive to outreach attempts, it would be ideal to have the option to mark the report(s) as incomplete/unresponsive. That creates a marker for future grant considerations

  5. It would be helpful when an applicant submits a follow-up form that the automatic email that is sent to the admins has the actual person who submitted the follow-up form. Instead of "A new (blank) has been submitted for (grantee phase)".

  6. When going in and pinning an existing comment (created before the "pinned comment" feature), it automatically changes the timestamp and author of the comment to whoever marked it as pinned. This doesn't make sense because the content of the comment itself hasn't changed. Pinning a comment shouldn't effect the author or date the original comment was made.

  8. It would be helpful when adding a comment in the Application or Follow-up forms that the comment stands out. For example, allow us to make the comment bubble red or yellow, or change the font color/size or make it bold. Anything to make it stand out from the rest of the Application or Follow-Up form would be extremely useful. I recently had to mark a follow-up form as incomplete, and I added comments to the questions that I needed clarification on and even after sending multiple emails (through Foundant) to the applicant to please see the comments to help her…

  10. Red flagging organizations or individuals if they have not completed a follow up report. Saw an idea about stopping an application if the organization has not completed a follow up. This idea would be along the same lines however if would be a more prominent visual alert in foundations work flows

  11. For the new applicant apply page, for the preview application button, is there a way to have it show as the application and not the PDF? We have several applications that use branching logic and the full load out in the PDF may confuse applicants.

  14. It would be great if attachments in the "Documents" tab could be previewed (much like how documents can be previewed within an application by clicking the eye icon).

    Currently, a user has to download a file from the Documents tab in order to view it. It would be amazing to keep the preview experience within the browser. As an added bonus, my downloads folder wouldn't get clogged up!

  15. There is a discrepancy between GLM and CSuite charity checks. When a private foundation applies it 'passes' the charity check unless you think to check in the Publication 78 box. When you run the same org in CSuite, a more obvious charity check message about their private foundation status displays. It would be helpful to have a more clear way of flagging private foundations within GLM before applicants get further in the process.

  16. I need a denial email to be sent to the applicant when I hit deny on the application. When the application is approved, an email is sent. But I have to go in and send a separate email after I have denied the request. I don't want to deny a request but forget to notify them!

  18. We would love to be able to add dates to comments, not just have it be the date we are adding the comment. That way we might be able to sort comments.
    Not to mention copy and pasting emails with information in it.
