Add an ability to check an organization on Guidestar that is asking for a discretionary grant but not creating a user account.
Just a thought: We have organizations to which our trustees give a discretionary grant, so there is no application process. Currently, I can't search their status in Guidestar when the organization has not set up an account in Foundant. It would be nice if I could!

Award Details/Payment Information
It would be extremely helpful if there were a way to incorporate key payment information into the main box under award details for each recipient. Since we use the program for scholarship administration and our payments are made directly to individual schools this would include name/address/account #. It would save a lot of time as we currently we have to maintain a separate spreadsheet or constantly switch between multiple screens to process payments. We've started trying to incorporate the information into the conditions field for each installment but this is also time consuming to set-up.

Blind evaluations by process instead of as a site attribute
We have only one process that requires true anonymous evaluations. It is very important those reviewers not see the organization information block. However, the evaluation period coincides with evaluations of other processes that need the organization information block. We would greatly appreciate being able to turn on this feature for only one process instead of the whole site to work for all of our committees! Thanks!

Amount Awarded, shared question comma
It would be very helpful if the comma would carryover from the Approval stage Amount Awarded when it is a shared question in a follow up. Without the comma it is very difficult for grant recipients to read the amount awarded, especially when there are multiple zeros in the dollar amount.
The dollar sign and comma appear in the Follow Up Packet and Approval Packet. This makes me wonder if it's a system glitch.
Thanks!

Checking in followups
Our staff have different responsibilities when checking in Quarterly follow up forms. The first step is a budget and expenditure review. It then goes to different staff person who reviews the narrative portions of the report. Right now, we keep an excel form and check off when the financial is reviewed and ready for narrative review. It would be nice to see online when the financial is done and the follow up is ready to move on for the narrative review.

Dear Foundant:
Can we add to the Greeting page language to add “Administrator administrator@grantinterface.com” to their address book so that our emails will be sure to land in their inbox! Put it in a different color font so that it will be noticed when they open this software.
We continue to have problems delivering emails to our grantees and creates duplicate work for us. Thank you.

Code processes, and allow multi-select by code
We have grant processes, or programs, which recur every year. There is currently no way in the system to link those processes. Our suggestion is two-fold: (a) allow us to add a "code" or "type" to each process, and then (b) allow us to pull processes by code/type. This would show up in the Select Processes pop-up on the dashboard - maybe above the "available" and "archived" boxes - a "Select All Processes Type" box.
To get more technical - it would be really great if we could also add a "closed" status to a process. That could be a…

allow applicants to select contacts for specific messaging
I love how, under each Process, we can determine which administrators will get submission notifications for applications or follow-ups. Couldn't the software, someday, allow the applicants to determine which contacts under their organization should receive particular types of notifications? Of course, I would still need to be able to export those selections so I can use that information for our Outlook distribution lists for other information. But it would be nice to give some control to the applicant. So often, the person who submitted the grant moves on before the reports are due, or they may just have different staff…

Save an edited merged document
We like to personalize the body of a grant approval letter 'merged document' before printing and mailing along with the grant payment. At this point there is no method for saving the edited personalized version of the document to the grantee's page. The process becomes arduous because we must first edit the body of the document, then save it as a word file to our database, then upload the saved document to the grantee's page. We would like to be able to edit the merged doc and directly upload edited version it.

Changing the 'show applicant' a document.
We delay our grantees' ability to see the decision on their application by 14 days. This was set up for us by Foundant. We upload their approval/denial letters into their request documents at the time of the decision, but do not want the grantees to see the letters until after the 14 day period when both the decision and the letter should become simultaneously visible to them. At this point in time, we have only two choices - to never allow the applicant to see their approval/denial letters in their Request Documents, or to wait before posting the letters to…

Enable applicants to be logged into more than one funder at a time
An applicant recently told me of a challenge when working on multiple applications for different funders at the same time which all use the Foundant GLM system. Apparently you can't do it. You have to open a different browser or open private browser windows to login to more than one funder. It would be helpful to enable applicants to be able to login to more than one funder as they can copy/paste information that can be used in multiple applications more easily.

Allow us to determine which fields in a User account should be required
It used to be that the only required fields for a new user was the name, email and password. Now, when I create a new user (for example, as an evaluator), I have to include their title, phone, address, city, etc. It's a pain, and I don't usually have those details. Can I change those fields so they're not required? Or change at least some of them? Thanks!

Filterable search results in Idea Lab
When I do a search here in the Idea Lab, I would love to be able to filter or sort the results. At bare minimum, it would be great to sort by most recent or most votes. But it would be nice to filter to just "Implemented," for example.
Thanks!

Email records
http://null When using the email function / templates to contact applicants, is there any way the messages could be saved to the applicant's profile or tracked? It would be most helpful to have a log created of all communication sent to an applicant within their organization profile. Failing that, it would be useful to at least have a general "sent messages" folder. Does this exist now or is it possible in the future?

Integrating Email & Phone Notes
Thank you for being willing to receive suggestions in this forum. You are brave folks and unique.
Increasingly most grantee correspondence takes place via email or telephone. Might it be possible to have email more strongly integrated into the Foundant GLM? It would be especially helpful if emails that we generate in the system could be saved with each specific grant - along with the grantee's email responses back to us. Maybe there could be a way the grantee can initiate an email to us - through Foundant? Copying and pasting Subject lines and message texts into the "Comments" section…
