  1. We have a custom Task report we use for activity around Opportunities. It works well EXCEPT there is no field for task notes. (If you are in the process of adding one - and I hope you are - the following idea is moot).
    It would be helpful to be able to export from the Tasks field. Specifically, completed tasks, in order to get the notes in a spreadsheet that we can merge with our activity reports.
    I'm not sure if there is a notes field in All My Tasks, but it would be helpful to have one and also…

  3. Past users sometimes create Opportunity/Note/Task types that are no longer useful to current staff. Please create an option to make those types "Inactive" rather than simply deleting them - we may want to keep the historic data in CSuite, but NOT on the Drop down list. It would help to clean things up and streamline categories.

In other DBs I’ve used there is a way to export a complete donor/prospect profile report that lists all information in the person’s record (contact info, prospect ratings, relationships, giving, granting (is applicable), notes, etc. in an exportable report – preferably into Word or a PDF. This is very useful for us to use as a working doc in a prospect meeting. (Perhaps I’m just to old school, but paper one can make notes on is still very helpful.)

    Another VERY helpful element would be the ability for Foundant to pull in fields from one of the major prospect research…

  5. Salutation/mailing label areas of Profile set to auto fill. When entering a profile, it would be helpful to have these auto fill rather than entering each time. Then they could be overridden based on if the profile needs a change. Such as instead of Mr. and Mrs. Jones, override to Bill and Mary.

  7. I think you guys talked about working with Google Data Studio for data visualization. What happened to that?

    I've been exporting data from Csuite into Data Studio, but having live data exchange would be great.

  8. We just realized that when we pull fund statements, the grantee for internal grants is listed as our Foundation rather than the destination funds. We want the donors to know their grants went into the correct funds, so we'll have to hand write the destination funds on all the paper statements. It would be great if fund statements could name the destination funds for internal grants.

  9. Often times, we have to copy the same note to multiple profiles or funds because either there were multiple contact people for one fund or there was one contact person for multiple funds. Right now the only way to show up in multiple places is to copy the note.

  10. After a grant request has come over from the portal and is in the new bucket, we have the option to change the grantee. However, this only allows us to select a grantee profile and does not include any of our internal foundation funds. It would be nice if there was also the option to change the grantee to a foundation fund and process as an internal grant. Thanks for considering!

    It would be great to have the save button also located on the left side menu instead of at the bottom and/or top of the screen.

  13. We are going to be producing monthly a spreadsheet that will help us determine who normally distributes in a particular time frame and their spendable/available cash.

    It would be a dashboard we can frequently review.

    However, the pre-made reports or the custom ones do not grab both the spendable/available cash that we would need for review.

    Other fields that we would find beneficial include: the distribution type/sub types, fund summary and fund advisor.

    Nice to have would be the grantee names/dates/amounts.

  14. Impact Investing-Revenue Share
    We recently invested in an impact investment where we have a portion of $ in a mortgage. We earn interest and principal repayments monthly but only receive the funds 2 a year. I would like to book the monthly int earned and reduce the principal by the amount owed and set up a receivable for the twice a year payment. I was looking to the add int/fees to book the income no problem but how can I reduce the principle balance and set up the receivable other than booking journal entries. At the moment there is just…

  15. Balance Swap - Edit Amounts

    The Balance Swap feature is extremely helpful, but it would be better if you could change the amount for the balance swap that is needed. In some instances, a fund needs a balance swap, but I would like the ability to make two different swaps on different days.

  19. Would love the ability to assign edit rights to multiple people in reporting. For example, one person on a team may create the report, but the report is intended to belong to the team. It would be great to be able to assign other members of that team to edit those reports, rather than having to save a duplicate as their own.
