  2. Change the text on the prompt for the credit card fee

    Please change the prompt from
    "Do you want to add 3.0% to cover our processing fee?" to
    "Do you want to add 3.0% to cover the credit card company's processing fee?"
    Many donors have a negative reaction to the charity charging a fee. Using the word "our" sounds like we are charging the donor to make a gift. On the other hand, everyone knows that the credit card company (aka the bad guy ;) ) charges a fee.

  3. Create a template for invoices

    CSuite should have a template for invoices, similar to for grant letters and thank you letters.

    The current default invoice does not work well is very hard to use. We often don't use it when we should and instead create Word doc invoices. This is because:
    1) We can't put in any additional information, description, contact info, etc. on the invoice
    2) the format is not professional looking.
    3) We cannot download and edit it and print it and send a paper copy to someone.

  4. Grant Advisor

    It would be helpful that when choosing a grant advisor when creating a grant, that you can only select the profiles of fund advisors that it is applicable to, instead of the entire database coming up to choose.

  5. Automatic tribute emails

    When online donors indicate a tribute name and email address, the tribute recipient should receive the templated tribute letter automatically, just as the donor receives their donation acknowledgment automatically.

  7. Campaigns and Opportunities Flag When Entering Donation

    When a donation is entered into the system, it would be helpful if any campaigns or opportunities associated with that profile were displayed, so that the gift can be properly credited. There could be an alert that displays as soon as the profile is chosen, if the profile is connected to a campaign or opportunity. This would be a big help when tracking the success of a mailing campaign, for instance.

  8. Have service area fill automatically based on past input in profiles. Or have separate County field.

    Would be great if the service area/county could automatically fill based on what has been entered in other profiles. So if you enter the zip code, the service area/county would automatically fill. Since service area is used in many different ways, I feel that county should be it's own field with the address. I have never worked with a database that didn't have the county field as it's own field. (And I have used a lot of different databases for a lot of years =)

  9. Fund Statement: All Statement Accounts Visible

    When running fund statements it would be beneficial to have all statement accounts visible. Currently, when the statement account is zero it will not show that line on the statement. It would be beneficial to be able to have the option to show zero balance lines for consistency from quarter to quarter.

  10. "Help" option on Donor Portal

    It would be great to have a "Help" tab or link that would bring up the guide on how to operate the donor portal. Currently we include an attachment or link to the guide when first having a fund holder set up their account, but it would be nice to have it available online for when they are actually in the portal.   11. Reports to Include Zero Amount Lines

    I would be so happy if our financial reports would pull ALL revenue, expense, asset and liability lines regardless if they have a zero amount. There are two reasons for this (1) if there was g/l activity in the account, but at the time it has a zero balance I want to be able to easily click on the zero amount and see the g/l activity; and (2) we often need to pull multiple reports and combine them to get the specific info we require. When some rows are zero, and therefore not included in the report, then copy/pasting columns…

  12. beneficiaries

    Give us the ability/option to choose when we want to send out distributions for beneficiaries. It would save a lot of staff time if we could program the date to release the distribution when we first set up the beneficiary. Currently we have to go to each fund and click on 'grant spendable' since we have so many beneficiary distributions.

  13. journal entries able to reverse on a certain date & save recurring

    It would be great for year end if when entering a 12/31 journal entry there was an optional field to enter a reversing date and it would post both. That way if you unpost and void they would be in the same transaction too. Also to save and name recurring entries before posting.

  14. Ability to Sort Columns in Balance Swap

    We are having a tough time making our balance swap an efficient process. It would help tremendously to be able to sort any of the columns in the "Balance Swaps as Needed" section. Being able sort the "account to" and "account from" columns would be amazing, but all of them would be great. Thanks

  15. Warning Notice for Beneficiaries not totaling 100%

    Can a warning be added to the system when beneficiary percentages don't add up to zero? Currently the system just lets you save any percentages even if the total doesn't add up to 100%.

  16. General Ledger - Ability to Edit All Filters - not just date

    In the General Ledger, you can specify a number of parameters (date range, fund, account, etc). You can edit the date range without having to go back to the beginning. But the other parameters, you can only clear. You cannot edit them. It would be very helpful to be able to change the fund or the account or the division, etc. without having to start over.

    Show profile number for reference beside name in the dropdown as you are searching for organizations/profiles in case of multiple organizations or like names/organizations.
