  1. Customizing the Portal's styles is unnecessarily difficult. In part, this is because the elements on each page are only given generic classes. In particular, the body element has the classes "ft_body" and "portal." But that makes it very difficult to target the content of only one page with a desired style.

    Instead, the body element should be given a unique id attribute to distinguish the page on which it appears from every other page. Ideally, the id should identify the role-based portal in which the page appears and the function of the page within that portal.

  2. We have some Philanthropic Interest Types that are internal only and others we would choose not to list given the option. Adding a toggle next to show/hide in the portal would be great.

  3. We are testing using Loans in Csuite for the first time. It would be great if a loan could also have the option to be between 2 funds so that the system would not only create the entries on the fund making the loan, but also on the fund receiving the loan. And this would extend to the payments as well - that the system would make entries on both funds. In our case, we are loaning to an affiliate organization which has its funds with us. The payments are coming from that fund.

  4. Please add the boolean "endowed" variable to the template fields list. In Illinois starting 1/1/25, gifts to endowed funds qualify for a 25% tax credit. On our receipt letters we'd like to be able to automatically flag the donations that will qualify. Thank you.

  5. Grantees reports - Add the grantee "EIN" option to the "choose export columns"

  7. It would be nice if we could write comments for fields. It would enable us to have in-line recommendation for our conventions when entering new information. The system already does this as provided by Foundant, for instance:

    When entering a donation, the donation field has italicised text next to it "Donor wishes this donation to be anonymous" when in edit mode. It would be nice if we could add that kind of text ourselves to any field so that when we had edit mode open, it would show us our own recommendations for fields.

  8. Some of our funds have fund names that do not indicate the donor name. In the sort key we reference the donor name. However, the sort key is not a searchable reference. We can't leverage the short name because we use our legacy fund ids there and want to continue that system. We would like the sort key to be a searchable term so if we were searching it pulls up the fund wherever we would put a fund name/id.

  9. We utilize a custom field to filter our expenses and vouchers by department. However, when creating reports or pulling a standard report from the system, this custom field is not included as a filtering option. It would be helpful to include custom fields in all reports that the system generates and not require additional steps to get the report to filter appropriately.

    At this time we do not plan on adding filters to default reports. Custom Fields are available in filters in custom reports and the list area of objects.

  10. Please make the Donor ID visible on the donor record, in custom reports, and as an upload option. While many reports include it as output, its absence in these areas prevents us from linking the Donor ID to a Profile.

  12. A simple idea that would help us a lot is to have checkboxes for alerts of important dates such as birthdays, anniversaries, etc when creating profiles. A step better would be receiving an email with this alert . Would be much easier than setting a task for each date for every profile .

    You could create a report with a relative date filter that is sent to your email. That might help with this request!

  13. I love the ability to archive campaigns and get them off the campaign list, but we would like to be able to continue to see some of the campaigns on profiles. We track programming participants through campaigns and we would like that history to remain easily visible on their profile.

    There is an option in the left side menu to list all campaigns.  Selecting that will bring up a filtered list of all campaigns for that profile.

  14. Please add custom fields that come with date and comment fields. The date so we can easily see when a particular custom field was last updated, and comments gives us the ability to add more details. This would be a huge enhancement. Similar to Raiser's Edge functionality.

The integration of Raisely to Foundant would be very useful for campaigns held externally, highlighting the automatic recording for donation details (donor contact information, donation amounts, and Stripe fees) could be directly populated and tied a specific fund. Similar to how Stripe donations and its donor details are automatically fed through Foundant, rather than having to import a list.
    Currently, Funraisin’s integration can only import a donation list and cannot auto/bulk populate donor profiles unless they are individually and manually added and this is very time-consuming when met with extreme amounts of donations.

  16. When changing a grantee after having ran the Charity Check in C-suite, it would be great that the Charity Status Check gets cleared with the change as right now it keeps the date from the previous grantee and doesn't stop you from pushing the grant to GLM if using that function.

  18. When setting up loan accounts in the Accounts Default section, you must assign only one account for Loans Payable, Loans Receivable and Loan Interest. We have 3 separate loans that are sub-accounts of these accounts. So each time I set up a loan, create a voucher for the loan payment, invoice interest payments, or invoice for a principal repayment, I need to reset the defaults so that they map to the correct sub account.   19. I love the new Nickname field! We had a custom field that we were using for Nickname, but today I exported our custom field nicknames, then imported them into the new Nickname field and then removed them from the custom field and deleted the outdated custom field. In doing all that, I noticed that in Reporting when you select fields or filters that the field is labeled "Nick Name". Would it be possible to get it to match the Profile field label which is "Nickname"? Thanks!
