  1. CSuite would benefit greatly from having a comprehensive system-wide audit trail that logs all user activity across every module and function.

    Recently we discovered grants had been entered using the “Create Spendable” function, but no user log was available to identify who performed the action. Without that information, the only way to determine what happened is to ask staff individually if they made the entry. When you have multiple staff entering grants, this is important.   3. My team finds it incredibly helpful to proxy in / login as a donor to help them navigate the portal. Right now, if you have the proxy in permission, you are able to make grant requests and changes to the constituent's profile and fund. The system log does not mark those actions as the person who proxied in. It marks those actions as though the constituent made the changes. This is critical for audit purposes and creates several security and control issues.

  5. First of all, THANK YOU for creating the profile type directory! I was super excited to find out it existed while at Summit. I would love for you to expand the capacity of it and make it similar in function to the Nonprofit Directory with the ability to decide what information to share--even if it was in the setup and not particular to one person/organization. For example, I would love to be able to share a person's name, title, workplace and address in addition to the phone and email. I appreciate you Chris and team!!

  6. Similar to having secondary assignees to opportunities, it would be extremely beneficial if we could add secondary stewards to profiles and funds. Right now, the limitation to one steward per profile is problematic as we have profiles with more than one fund which have different stewards.

  8. The Set Statement Type area (Home > Fund Advisors > Set Statement Type) applies bulk changes immediately, without a confirmation step. Unlike other bulk edit functions in CSuite, selecting a statement type option (Online, Paper, or Email) takes effect the moment it's clicked -- with no prompt to confirm the action. This lack of verification increases the risk of unintended changes being made to statement types across multiple records.

  9. With the addition of custom fields to Notes, we know the custom field is available for use in regular Notes and Opportunity Task Notes, as well as available on Opportunity Notes. The custom field appears as a reportable field in custom reports for Notes and Opportunity Task Notes but NOT for Opportunity Notes. My assumption is the custom field should show on the Opportunity Note report based solely on the objects being used in that report (i.e. Opportunities and Notes). Can the custom field please also be connected/available for the Opportunity Notes?

When creating a profile, I would like to have the already entered First Name, Middle Initial and Last Name fields automatically populate into the Salutation, Recognition Name and Mailing label fields, in order to speed up data entry. Currently this is data that must be duplicated. If, for example, I enter John Michael Smith in the top line Name fields of an individual profile, I would like the Salutation field to be auto filled with John, and both the Recognition Name and Mailing Label fields to be auto filled with John M.   12. Enable sending automated emails from the organizations actual domain via the use of domain authorization rather than sending everything from fcsuite.com.

    Emails from fcsuite.com are confusing, often caught in spam, and it is impossible to ensure that every online customer recognizes and properly whitelists it. This has caused significant overhead on our staff to manage missed communications. In addition, some organizations spend a lot of time and money to build their brand reputation and improve name recognition within the community.   13. Currently, the Grant Notify feature sends one notification email per grant when grants are posted or unposted. When multiple grants from a single fund are posted at the same time, advisors receive multiple separate emails, one for each grant.
    I am requesting an enhancement that would allow multiple grants posted from the same fund at the same time to be included in a single, consolidated email notification to the fund advisor.

  14. It would be very helpful to be able to tag multiple funds in one note. Internally, we put notes on the fund advisor/donor profile and tag the note since we cannot do it the other way around. Would it be possible to tag multiple funds in a note, so we do not have to create duplicate notes on multiple funds profiles.

  15. Right now you have to copy a note to a profile or fund - there is no way to automatically, upon the time of note creation, to link to multiple profiles for funds. For instance, when we add a note to an individual profile, it would be far more efficient to choose to link at the time of note creation to their workplace, other profiles, or to multiple funds.

  16. We would like to ensure that the check memo line is being populated in the NACHA files for grants. Right now, we have to copy over the grant descriptions into the check memo line once they make it to the voucher module. For regular vendor vouchers this is not an issue because we are manually entering this data, but when it comes to grants the description is only copied to the reference number.   17. My team uses custom fields on opportunities for unique tracking. The description of the custom field is where we have the instructions for how and when to use the field but is only seen if you go to the custom fields page.

    Can the description of a custom field appear when USING the custom field?   18. There are formatting problems when creating reports, statements, tax receipts, etc. in French. In terms of the text, it is easy to select the correct language templates (FR or EN in our case). But when it comes to formatting of dates and numbers, it is important for these to come correctly from the system.

    In French, the date format should be: YYYY/MM/DD or Le DD MM YYYY if written out in words, with the name of the month written in French (not English) and beginning with a small letter (not a capital).
