  1. Sometimes different schools have differing criteria for the student information they would like us to communicate along with scholarship payments and being able to accommodate those differences within the templates assigned would be a great convenience. At the simplest level, some schools request we include a student info form and it would be great if our letter could reference that form as part of the complete correspondence, while not referencing any attachments on letters to schools that do not request supplemental documentation.

  2. Please add a salutation field to the checkout screen and add a checkbox that can be used to make this field required/not required for all donors on a site.

    This would allow the option for a salutation to be created and entered in the salutation field in CSuite and save us from needing to manually enter salutations for new donor profiles.

  5. It would be extremely helpful if we could import updates & new items for funds, especially related to our Giving Hub portal. These would include descriptions and images. Manually adding these fields, one by one, is time-consuming, and we’d like to make our Giving Hub experience as rich as possible for our donors. Can an import feature be added for funds?

  6. In the Grantees (T3010) Report (under CRA Reporting), it would be helpful to add a field for the expense account related to each grant. Then one could sort the data and tie back to the financial statements much more easily. I'm adding this information manually and would love to eliminate this step!

  8. Please prompt the fund advisor to confirm that they want to Delete or Cancel a Grant Request before the record is deleted or cancelled. It is too easy to remove a grant request by accidentally clicking on those action choices.

  9. Total Contributions and Total Grants should be customizable. When using lookback dates this wording is misleading as the totals don't include data that precedes the lookback date.

  10. It would be very helpful if we could bulk add year-end receipts to the portal so our fund holders can view their year-end receipt with all gifts in one receipt in one place. Fund Statements are generated and posted on the portal so it seems like the mechanics are in place to do something similar for year-end receipts. It would be great for our donors who have a fund, especially those who make multiple gifts during the year, to be able to view/print a year-end receipt from the portal.

  11. We're running into an issue with running year over year financials for February. The system is pulling 02/28/2025 and 02/28/2024, instead of 02/29/2024. We run quite a few comparative reports and we're having to manually manipulate the 2024 column. It would be great if the engineers could fix the coding so the system would pull the month end date, rather than a set date.

  14. We would love to to be able to manually remove grants from fund advisor carts after several communication attempts. It looks like the only way to do this is by logging in as the fund advisor and removing it from their portal, which raises security concerns. We would like an option to be able to remove these grants on behalf of the fund advisor from the back-end of the system.

  15. As the nonprofit completes the Grant Catalog request form, they're prompted with a with a "submit another request" button. We'd like the option to disable that button. We only allow nonprofits to submit one request per Catalog and this feature is confusing for them. If there could be an option to Allow

In the Fund Advisor portal, on the Catalog Request Form, there is no indication (such as with an asterisk) which fields are required, so a NPO copmleting the form must click the submit button before they are advised which fields are required. It would be helpful if required fields could indicate they were required when the form is first loaded.

    Currently, if they click the "next" button without completing ALL the required fields, it just clears out the form. Would also be helpful if we could add sub-directions for each field. For instance, put "max 200 characters" as sub-directions for…

  17. Affiliate portal users, who can recommend a grant from one of multiple funds under the Affiliate, are unable to search for grantees in the new portal like they could in the legacy portal. They can manually enter a grantee or select from a previous grantee and then select the funding source.

    If the user has the grant request permission on behalf of the affiliate, they should be able to search for a grantee and then select the funding source. Searching now generates an error to contact Foundant support (we'd also prefer users aren't directed to contact support).

  18. Please add Primary Fund Advisor field to the Profile Fund custom report. Currently there is no way to see which funds do not have a primary advisor or have out-of-date primary advisors, without opening each individual Fund record. It's making system setup and maintenance unmanageable.

  19. Can we please have the option to select birthdays without a year or even a specific date?

    Sometimes we may know the Month and Year
    Other times, we may only know the Month and Day, but not a year.

    It is nice to capture this information for donor development

We report out two figures to our fund holders – the value of the gift (as calculated by the average of the high and low values) and then the amount actually booked to their fund (the amount the stock sold for). Our donors expect to see both these values on their tax receipts, so now we are inputting this number manually, which increases our margin for error. Please bring back the sold amount field for tax receipts.
