  1. Make GL account inactive

    We want to be able to make GL accounts inactive without deleting the history attached to the accounts. Right now the only way to clean up the GL codes is to close/delete ONLY if there is no transactions.
    Please add "Inactivate" option to the accounts. Thank you.

  2. Tribute & Tax Receipt Templates: Adding Custom Fields as Template Fields

    We like to have custom fields available in both tax receipt templates and tribute templates. They're available in grant and check templates now, but not in these 2. We have uses for them, sometimes as workarounds, and extending these templates to have those fields would be really helpful.

  3. Create account / subaccount without having to save and edit

    It would be great when creating GL account (and other records) to have all fields visible upon initial entry vs. having to edit after saving. It would ensure the complete set of data accompanied the record, and save time.

  4. Gift/Grant Reports Since Inception

    Love the ease of pulling grant/gift reports from the fund's main profile, but really wish there were either an "all" or "since inception" field. We often run these quick reports while on the phone with someone, and it never fails that I have to stop, go back, look at the fund's start date, hit grant report again so that I can add an inclusive date range. Silly, but slightly aggravating!

  5. Donor portal view multipayment grants

    Please show multi-payment grants in the donor portal with the status of the individual payments so that the donor can tell which payments have been paid. Currently the donor sees just the full amount of the grant with the status "Voucher."

  6. Categorize unsent Tax Receipt letter view as "Unposted" and "Posted/Recent"

    Categorize the Tax Receipt page that shows unsent tax receipts as either "Unposted" or "Posted/Recent", consistent with the Donation page. We post gifts and then send letters, and this view would be helpful to make sure we don't send a tax receipt letter before the gift has been reviewed.

  7. Add ability to bulk upload an attachment to grants in the "New Bucket"

    It would be useful to be able to bulk upload attachments to grants in the New Bucket and be able to use the filter feature as well to do this. Especially if there is a grant login backup document or email that applies to one Fund with multiple grants. Toward year-end we get Funds that grant 60 grants at once. While using the import feature does save some time, it does not allow to bulk upload attachments. So I have to go into every grant manually and upload at the moment.

  8. Shift-Select Multiple Checkboxes #letshifthappen

    When filtering a custom report on a field with dozens or hundreds of entries (Ex: fund account listings) you currently need to check one... checkbox...at...a...time. This forced exercise in patience and eye-straining focus is simply unjust. We don't need the carpal tunnel injury lawyer sharks to start circling our Foundat dev team. Let's agree that the humane solution is to grant the user the civilized option to hold down shift while selecting between checkboxes, to auto check all the ones between them. Just 2 clicks needed for a range, not 200.

    It would be helpful when posting a journal entry if a description is entered in the Create Journal Entries field to autofill into the Fund Entry field.

  11. investment performance

    It would be very helpful if there was more information on the investment report in Financials. When you go to the Financials page, select Investments, and enter the time period, the only information available is the amounts going in and out (income, realized, unrealized, gifts, payments, etc.). This can all be found in other areas - the fund activity, Revenue Share, the bank statements, etc. It would be very helpful if this also included percentages to show the investment account performance or some other way to determine how the investment account performed of the selected time period.   13. HTML and Merge Field Compatibility for Grant Letter Email Template

    Please make the grant_ letter_ email_ body template in site custom content HTML compatible! It appears every template is html compatible except this one.

    It would also be helpful to have more merge fields available within this template. For example, payment amount and payment description/memo!

    Without the html compatibility, you are unable to create line breaks or format any text which is very frustrating. Without additional merge fields, very limited information can be communicated to grantees.

  14. Allow user to specify dates on all custom reports

    Add a date field to all reports, so for example if you create a Funds report, you can ask for the balances as of a specific date.

  15. Detailed general ledger report

    It would be very helpful to have a detailed general ledger report of all the transactions for a particular fund or set of funds to review data. Most systems have a report that is often requested by auditors and fundholders to get a complete picture of all the detailed line items that have gone into their fund.

    This report would make it easier to review data.

  16. The order of statement voucher items

    When entering statement vouchers it would be great if the items were sorted in order of g/l account number upon posting, so when you use the copy (from previous), the line items were in the same order every time. This would make data entry much faster. Currently, no matter what order I enter them in, when I post, the order changes. Thank you!

  17. interfund grants

    Please add a tally of Interfund Grants on a Fund Advisor's home page. As it stands now, they have now way of knowing that the difference between "total Granted" and "funds avialable" is because of these internal grants. In our case, most of the the interfund grants are to special purpose funds for communitiy initiatives, not to other DAFs. To a Fund Advisor, these interfund grants are the same as external grants when they think about what they have supported, and thus should be displayed on the home page.

  18. Improve GuideStar Data coming from Donor Portal

    When a donor uses the GuideStar feature to reccomend a grant through the Donor Portal it does not populate the information that would be useful to create a new grantee in the system. We have to create a new grantee, then change the grantee, for our workflow with GLM. If you could easily see the EIN, Address and Organization Name in the "Request" bucket that would ensure we have the correct grantee.

  19. Beneficiary Report that Includes Other Foundation Funds

    Under Reports --> Fund Beneficiaries:

    Users can run a report to see all the Foundation funds that have beneficiaries linked and the percentage amount set for said beneficiary. Wonderful!

    However, the report only shows external grantees. The report does not show other Foundation funds that are set-up as beneficiaries which would receive an internal grant when distribution is approved.

    Can we please add other Foundation funds to show with the external grantees to show under the Name tab in the Beneficiaries Reports?
