  1. Once a grant has been distributed, the spendable is reduced. We would love a quick visual that gives us a link to the full annual spendable by year for the fund(s).

  2. We have multi payment and multi year interfund grants/donations that sometimes need to be canceled or reversed. Right now they cannot be canceled unless you pretend to pay it and the pretend to pay it back by the receiving fund. There should be the ability to reverse the unpaid Receivable/Payable without pretending to pay it.

  3. Currently, the ? icon for the "sponsored org" field indicates this is the vendor the check will be made out to. We're having trouble making that work when giving to a group with a fiscal sponsor, though this is the field we've been directed to use for those situations. The check needs to be made out to the fiscal sponsor, since that's the legal entity, but it makes no sense to put the sponsor in the "Sponsored Org" field, since it's the opposite of that.   4. Notes descending by date. When we bulk uploaded Notes we found even if the note had a past date, the note was at the top of the list of notes since the order is determined by the Note ID. Allow admin to pick how the notes are sorted.

  5. We would like an option for changes to households to populate/update the individual profiles linked to that household.

    Now, when we make an address change or a change to Profile Types for a household profile, we must make the same changes to each individual profile linked to that household - in other words, we often must make the same exact edit on three or more profiles.

  6. It would be wonderful if there was an easy way to include a link that automatically populates an "Add to Calendar" option for events when folks view and/or register for an event. Currently, individuals have to manually add event details, time-date,name, etc to their individual calendars.

  8. The payment date for grants should automatically become the check date. It doesn't make sense for the payment date to be the date it was entered and causes confusion with donors wondering why organizations haven't received checks when the payment date is before the grant date and/or before the date checks are run.

  9. Please split the Voucher bucket into 2 different buckets. One for Vouchers that have been created and one for items awaiting voucher. It is very confusing to try and figure out if an error is made or something missed when creating grant vouchers and having them stay in the same bucket once created.

  10. We use the short name for funds regularly, and would like to be able to search the short name of funds in multiple areas. Today, I am in the Set Scholarship Fund area and this area does not allow for searching by Fund short name. Can the Fund short name be searchable across the CSuite site?

  11. The checks can now be GROUPED in different ways, and you can sort the vouchers in different ways, but when the check run is created, they do not stay in the sort order. The check run isn't in any order that makes sense to me now.

  12. We so appreciate the ability to email our grant letters, thank you for bringing that improvement! I imagine this will be more difficult to pull off on a technical level than some other suggestions being made for improvement, so this falls into the category of "shoot for the stars!"

    Would it be possible for you to enable the ability to EDIT the grant letters before emailing them? Despite our having many templates in place, to try and cover all of our various scenarios, we find ourselves often having to make edits to the grant letters we generate for printing.

If we have a constituent with multiple email addresses (work, personal, etc..), we would like the ability to mark a single email address on a profile as "do not email" vs marking all of them using the do not email link. Making a single email address inactive is not visually effective to the end-user as compared to red headings and strike-through text that the do not email function provides.

  15. It would be helpful on the Bank Rec screen to be able to refresh or filter the screen based on checked/unchecked items. So once items have been checked off, you can refresh the screen to show only what has been left open. It would save a lot of time scrolling up and down while doing a rec.

  17. I would like a way to report out a donor's cumulative donations, both direct and advised, without having to sort through and organize tens of thousands of donations in an Excel spreadsheet. There is a custom reports field option for donation amount; I would like one that totals ALL donations from a donor so we are able to - for example - pull donors whose $100 donations add up to $2,500.

  18. Since one of the primary purposes of Community Suite is customer relations management (CRM), there needs to be more sophisticated options for recording contact with donors. Right now the only way to do this is to add a note for each contact. Other CRM systems I have used make it much easier to open a box to record each contact: date, nature of contact (phone, email, visit, etc.), who made the contact, etc. This should be stored in such a way that it is easy to pull up a list of all contacts with a particular donor.

  19. Notes - many of our profiles have pages and pages of notes because currently each note is shown in it's entirety. I was wondering if we could only show the first 5 (?) lines of a note on the profile. Then have the option to click on a "show more" button or click on the note itself to get the full note to appear. This would allow for an 'at a glance' option to find the note we need to view.

  20. When generating Pledge Reminders/Statements, it would be very helpful to be able to merge them into Word so changes can be made to specific letters. Currently after clicking on Payment Documents all the pledge letters are merged into a PDF.
