  1. In an effort to move to more ACH payments, we would like an integration of a cloud-based, third party billing service. At our foundation, we have no interest in collecting our vendor and grantee's sensitive bank information and storing and entering it ourselves. That is why we believe a successful third-party billing option is the best way to go. We have heard that CSuite is experimenting with Bambora, however, upon our research, we find that this may not completely suit all our needs.   2. I would like to hit enter from the profile search bar and get a page showing all the ones that come up, not just a drop down. I am very visual and would like to see blocks on a page and then be able to tag merges from there (among other things). Otherwise your clicking, hunting and packing to accomplish what you want to...

  3. We need to report on scholarship info such as target high school, field of interest, selection committee, etc. so can share with counselors, etc. Could do that with custom fields. The only scholarship custom fields are currently tied to the award, not the scholarship itself. Can't use fund custom fields because some funds have multiple scholarships. Currently managing all this in Excel.

  4. CSuite does not allow users to enter the void date on a check, it defaults to the day that it was done. It would be so helpful if we could enter the date that we want it to be voided.

  5. When you go into the General Ledger search... it would be beneficial to have a from account number and to account number to get a consecutive series of general ledger accounts.

    Example GL 63000-65000.... it would show all the transactions for those accounts. It would be grouped by the GL with subtotals. Every accounting software I have used has had the option to pull a series of general ledgers like this.

    This is not feasible with the new financial reports being released this month since the general ledger would have the description on it. We use the descriptions a lot…

  6. When you offer a meal choice in a campaign, we would like to see registering guests only have the choice to make one meal selection and the meal selection should be mandatory. Currently, it appears guests can select more than one meal choice or they can completely skip that step and still register.

  7. As a foundation, I would like for community members visiting my website to be able to select "Start a Fund" from my website and enter details/intentions about that fund.

    Additionally, when fund advisors are logged in to their existing fund through the portal, I would like them to be able to request changes to the fund: Ex.: investment strategy.

  8. It would be great to have a field within custom reports that indicates if a grant is a multi-fund grant or not. Currently there is no way to show this and multi-fund grants appear as individual grants based on the fund rather than one grant that is paid separately. This makes reporting on multi-fund grants a very manual process.

  9. We would like to be able to add custom fields in Tasks. One data point we have tracked in Salesforce is whether an activity/task is a "quality contact". For example forwarding an event invitation might be a task, but forwarding a news story and including a special message that encourages someone to consider making a grant might be a "quality contact" task. We use "quality contacts" to measure our client relations team success. If we could add a check box to Tasks for "quality contacts" that would be great.

  10. As of January 1, 2023, CRA will be allowing non-profit organizations to apply for grants that are normally only for charities. This would be a change to both CommunitySuite and GLM as the AJAH check only checks for charity numbers and we will need to also be able to use Society numbers. Can this be modified to check either?

  11. We'd like a secure way to obtain ACH information from grantees and vendors that feeds directly into CSuite. We obtain it now through an outside system and it's very manual and requires extra communication.

  12. Fund statements cannot be run until the period is closed so we open and close periods multiple times during a period so we can provide fund holders with timely statements.

    Unfortunately, each time the last period of the year is closed the system generates retained earnings entries. If you open and reclose a period, the system deletes the retained earnings entries and repost.

    The multiple deleting and reposting results in thousands of deleted retained earnings entries at year end. Currently there is no way to export or run a report on all deleted gl entries (view is limited to 1000…

  13. It would be very helpful to have Foundant flag groups deemed as hate groups, and/or extremist groups by using some type of source to notify users that this organization has been flagged when trying to create a grantee profile with a particular EIN, or doing the charity check in GuideStar.

  14. Currently when an advisor requests a grant we have four staff members who receive the notification email about the request. However, the email only includes the advisor name in the notification. Is it possible to have the notification include the grantee and amount that is being requested?

  16. Ability to link (preferably automatically) the credit card fees associated with a campaign ticket purchase to the campaign on the statement of activities.

  17. Please consider providing a way to group non-till transactions when depositing to bank. It is sometimes financially prudent for our foundation to use a 3rd party payment processor other than Stripe for an event, and so we may have hundreds of donations processed and then transferred in groups to our bank account. Without a way to group accordingly in C-Suite, we must reconcile the bank statement with thousands of individual deposit entries.

  18. We are continuing to have problems with Fund Advisors telling us that they are not receiving system-generated emails from us. We believe this is because the name and the email address do not match. That is, our organization's name is in the sender name but the domain in the email address is fcsuite.com.

    Has there been any discussion to investigate the possibility of changing "no-reply@fcsuite.com" to what is entered in the "Default Email Reply To" setting in Systems Data?

    We believe this would pass more smoothly through spam filters.

  19. Can you add the Profile Fund Categories to the Fund Advisor Fund Custom Report? We establish tab settings based on the profile fund category.

    We have been unable to find any other report that combines the tabs with the profile fund categories, fund advisors and fund information.

  20. The ability to increase the scholarship award amount after part of the award has been paid would be useful for our organization. Instead of creating a new scholarship for the same student, adding a payment, grant, or award line would tie the awards for the student together in one area. Propose the function to 'Open' the Scholarship to add spendable and create additional grants under the scholarship award and ability to modify remaining scholarship dollar amounts.
