  1. Can you PLEASE add an additional field to the securities section of the tax receipt? We need the Net Deposit Amount. We would also appreciate have the Fees as an option to pull onto our tax receipt. We would like to communicate to donors the amount that will show in their fund. Thanks so much.

  2. When posting/approving grants, if there are no more grants to be reviewed, why do we have to then click to return to the grant you just approved? This extra step will really make a difference in Q4 when we're posting several hundred grants.

  6. For the new portal I know you're able to login and view all of the funds you are a fund advisor for and then click into that funds overview. Say I am a fund advisor for a few Library funds in the area, is there a way to have one page that shows the summary of each fund? To view them all together?

    There is an option to create an Affiliate profile, then add funds to the affiliate and add to a Fund Advisor. Detailed instructions can be found in this help article: https://support.foundant.com/hc/en-us/articles/4409824568599-Affiliate-Portal

  7. Both of our audit group users - who only access the system for a few months annually - couldn't remember their passwords to log into CSuite. Unlike Fund Advisors, there is no "Send Login Email" in the left margin of the User tab of a profile. Since there were no instructions on any Foundant Help webpage or in Compass, the only work-around I could figure out was to "login as" each of them, send them their home screen once I assigned a temporary password.

    In the left side menu of the Home menu, there is an option for System URL's. Selecting that option returns a list of all the needed URL links to the system. Copy and paste the CSuite Login URL to send to a User in an emai once you have reset their password.

  8. When we generate fund statements for mailing, we also export a CSV of the fund advisors who should be receiving the statements to merge into an envelope. When the CSV is generated, contact information is not exported for organizations, only individuals. This is critical as fund statements should go to certain people within the organizations and sometimes even multiple people within the organization. Please fix the CSV export!

  9. We hold a paid program for executive directors for other local nonprofits every other year. We use C-Suite's Invoices to invoice the nonprofits. For those nonprofits that pay by credit card, the transaction ends up in Donations. It would be great to link their "donation" to their open invoice.

    In the new portal, a profile will be able to pay an invoice by credit card with the customer tab enabled. This could eliminate this problem. To apply a credit card payment to an invoice, it must be a profile payment, not a donation.

  10. Voucher Reference Numbers - please either allow duplicate reference numbers in a voucher and/or pop up a warning when entering the voucher that it is a duplicate and then allow a bypass. When we pay certain bills (phone bill, insurance, etc.), we put our account number in the reference number spot which is appropriate in those cases and doesn't change from year to year. Not every payable has a different invoice number each time.

  11. I want to select accounts to be excluded from balance swaps. I want everything in my grants payable, scholarships payable and spendable accounts to be in my checking account. The system only keeps amounts that are going out in the short term in checking. Giving the option to exclude those specific accounts would be very helpful.

  12. Could you all add a report pickup location within the system for scheduled reports to be run and then downloaded from within the system? Currently, scheduled reports only have an email option which raises security concerns for donor or financial information being sent unencrypted over email to users.

    Ideas could include putting a time line for expiration for scheduled report downloads (i.e., they are only saved in the pickup location for 24 hours) to prevent clutter.

  13. We just sent our first bulk batch of transfer requests using the functionality in CSuite and were so excited! Previously, this was so tedious and having this "new" option was so optimistic!

    Could we please have the ability to pull the transfer "description" into the transfer letter? We request both grants and fees and have one template for this, however, there is no way for the advisor to know what we are requesting whether it be a grant reimbursement or admin fees without this description line pulling.

  14. On grants related to the Grant Advisor field, the field prepopulates with an individual who has the Fund Advisor designation. It would be helpful for the field:
    to default to blank or a Fund Founder instead and
    contain the ability to list multiple people in the case of a fund with multiple founders.

  15. Currently, the Grants tab (showing a profile's grant history) is on the Donor designation profile but it needs to be moved to the Fund Advisor designation. Two reasons: 1) There are grant advisors that are not donors and 2) only data related to Donations should be on the Donor designation if we want to use Is Donor filtering to define actual Donors. If grant history "turns on" the Donor designation but that profile doesn't actually have any donations, then it completely negates the use of the Donor designation to define actual Donors.

  16. CSS suggestion - could the color coding of the Fund drop down box be different than the content? If you make it anything other than white or a light color, the fund drop down box gets lost.

  17. We enter vouchers for all credit card purchases. However, the new voucher refund does not allow you to "deposit" the refund to the credit card account; only bank accounts are listed. Instead, I have to enter a negative voucher and apply it to the credit card. Would be great to have the credit card account listed as one of the accounts to deposit the refund.

I would like to add the capability to include the employee named that a task is shared with when an opportunity task is created so that both team members can share accountability for the outcome. We use this information in our development meetings and have a custom report created. It would be great to add this to our report to help with assignments.

  20. After posting fund fees, please allow for an export of the transaction detail. Currently once can only copy the detail and paste into excel in order to then be able to sort and analyze the data for volume of income from different fund types - an important part of my analysis, as I want to see how much partially-endowed funds are providing in comparison to fully endowed & non-endowed funds, as it's the most popular segment but the most active & unpredictable in terms of contributions and granting. Have an export will help immensely.
