  1. It's pretty frustrating for folks to have to remember all their passwords across C Suite / GLM / SLM / Compass and Idea Lab. Especially when they don't all update on the same schedule. Would be great to have some synching of the platforms.

  2. Create a Board portal. A place to put documents, ByLaws, minutes, agendas, governance documents etc. Board would login here to retrieve documents for meetings instead of email and re-emailing with changes.

Although the current fund advisor portal element of the C-Suite platform does offer fundholders the opportunity to make grant advisements, the process is not very engaging and the design appears to the user as more of a back-office accounting process, rather than an engaging user experience. This is resulting in limited use by fundholders, resulting in more manual processing in the advisement and accounting work required in approving the advisements and processing the grant payments.   4. It would be nice if recurring donors could login or follow a link in their monthly receipt email that would allow them to edit or cancel their recurring donations instead of having to call our office to make any changes or stop their donations.

  5. We'd like a secure way to obtain ACH information from grantees and vendors that feeds directly into CSuite. We obtain it now through an outside system and it's very manual and requires extra communication.

  7. Please provide the option to list the school's name in the grantee detail section of a scholarship fund statement. This field is currently blank or will list the student's full name since the student is considered the grantee according to C Suite even though the payment was sent to the school. This is confusing for donors. This update would also protect the privacy of the student by including the school's name, and not the student's full name. We are not interested in the post by payment option as that feature can cause issues with financial integrity.

  9. For stronger internal controls, our auditors recommended the addition of two pieces to the Bank Reconciliation process in CSuite:

    1. Approvals, to support our actual workflow. We have one team member that reconciles the account, and another that approves the work. It would be wonderful if we could enable approvals like we can with Vouchers or other areas of the system.

    2. Log, showing the date/time and username who processed the bank rec. If approvals were turned on it could document when each step happened. Rather than only being able to see a history report that it was done, we need to…

  10. 1- Ability to import securities - helpful as some donors contribute 20+ stocks at a time

    2 -Auto complete the description of the security (but field should be able to be edited if needed). The database pulls the high / low information so it should also be able to pull the name of the security

    3 - Keep the securities listed in the order they are entered. For some reason csuite re-orders (in no particular order) the securities after saving the entry making it difficult to review the stock gift entry

  11. Instead of having two separate "entries" for a donation when a donor is covering the CC fees, it would be great for those two numbers to be combined and show as one donation. When this process generates two donations, i.e., $500 donation and $23.50 in credit card fees, when you run a report for the Fund Advisor to update them on the number of donations that the Fund received, the number is not accurate because it is counting some of donations as two.

  12. When I run custom reports I sometimes would like to apply a filter that covers multiple items. For example, a Zip Code filter that shows multiple zip codes or a fund filter that includes several funds. Unfortunately, the Custom Reporting does not include the same multi-select feature as Filter reports.

    I don't know the backend setup that makes these different, but it is odd that I cannot do the same function in both report types. Unfortunately, filter reports have the multi-filter function but limit the fields I can filter on/include.

  13. It would be nice to have the option to transfer/share the File Categories to the Fund/Donor Portal and be able to sort them as needed. ie. We share Thank you letters with some Advisors, by uploading and selecting the proper category in CSuite, it could sync over the Category and file to the files tab in the portal. This option would also make it easier to view for Fund Advisors.

  14. For audit purposes, it would be helpful to be able to change a fund group type at a point in time instead of changing all of history. We have memorial funds that come in as "Unrestricted" but turn into restricted scholarship funds (or others). When we change the fund group it changes the data for all of time which makes our ending balances for PY not match beginning balances in terms of audit categories.

    Right now we are closing the memorial funds completely and opening a new scholarship fund but this has us lose the donor/donation history for the fund.

Coming from Raisers Edge where we had comprehensive options to include / exclude what was merged from the source profile to the target profile, we are finding some gaps for what is included with a profile merge in CSuite. We are finding data that does not come over to the target profile from the source profile which requires additional manual entries to restore all information back to the merged profile.

    Below are the fields that are not being considered in the profile merge based on testing in our Sandbox as of this date (5/23/2023).

  16. We process a great number of interfund grant/donations and really need for CSuite to generate an automatic notification to the recipient fund advisor informing them that their fund has received a donation from another fund at our foundation. Is there any way you can do this for us?

  17. Currently on the household record, the Last Donation Date does not roll up all donations from the household members. So, if the household has not given since 2021, but a member of the household gave in 2023, that is not reflected in the Last Donation Date on the household record, it shows their last donation was in 2021. This is not an accurate representation of the household's giving. Please have all household and household members giving be reflected on the household record's Last Donation Date.

  18. Event Campaigns should be able to be created without needing to sell tickets. This would streamline online donations targeted for a specific purpose or campaign. The campaign could then have a specific URL and QR code created, like campaigns already do, but without needing donors to purchase a ticket, it could take them right to a donation page that is tied to the fund attached to that campaign. This would create more efficiency around event campaigns, continue the trend of online donations becoming more popular and accessible at events, and reduce the additional time it takes to manually attach donations…

  20. On the Income Statement budget format, the variance amount and percentage only shows the variance stated in proportion to the current month. My board and I would prefer to see this amount as a percentage of the annualized rather than month to month budget. Can you please add an option for this such as a "budget ann" or "budget ytd"? Selecting the option "this year" will give me the annualized amounts, but there is no way to change the effective date and retain that format as it reverts back to the month over month.
