  1. Having the Fund Detail Summary is a great addition for the Giving Hub. But what would make it even better if there was a WYSIWYG for that field to easily add links and photos. Having to use HTML coding makes it extremely cumbersome and there are already WYSIWYGs in other CSuite fields.

From recent experience, if you receive a refund for a scholarship endowment that was marked post by payment, there is not a way to Apply it to Spendable when entering the refund on the scholarship record (which is where knowledgebase recommends you enter it). You have to either do a manual distribution or a journal entry to have the amounts go back towards the spendable balance.

    Having a checkbox like you do for grant refunds to "apply to spendable" when entering the refund would be MUCH easier than having to take these additional steps to correct the spendable balance.

  3. We have had several universities complain that the scholarship letter template is messy and that it would be easier if it was organized by student name. After poking around and speaking with a support specialist, it seems this is not possible.

    I have attached a copy of our current scholarship letter with fake names to give an idea of how Csuite currently arranges the order of students, which is by individual grant. I've also attached an alphabetized version of the same list of "students" to show a better flow.

  4. I propose two key enhancements to the Fund Advisor Portal:

    File Upload Feature:

    Allow fund advisors to upload files directly through the portal. This would streamline the submission process for grant requests by enabling them to attach relevant documents, such as proposals and supporting materials.
    Customizable Fields and Questions:

    Implement a feature that allows administrators to add or modify questions and fields in the grant request forms. This flexibility would help ensure we gather all necessary information tailored to different grant opportunities and donor requirements.

  5. Some of our fund holders are confused by some language and say it is not intuitive and feels too "jargon-y." We appreciate the option to edit language on some of the headers, it would be great to extend that to more places on the portal. We add instructions at the top of each page, but sometimes that isn't enough.

    Some specific requests we've gotten to update the language are:

    "COPY" button under the grants tab.
    "Search Grantee" and "Manual Grantee" buttons when requesting a grant
    "Description" and "Additional grantee contact" when requesting a grant.

  6. If you don't work with grants to know there are some in the system to be paid and you look at a fund that has pending grants, it can look like something is wrong on the fund. The fund balance has been reduced by the pending grants but the assets have not been reduced. This makes sense but for development people who aren't aware of grants, it can get confusing. Could there be some sort of flag on the balance that grants are pending or something?

  7. I want to select accounts to be excluded from balance swaps. I want everything in my grants payable, scholarships payable and spendable accounts to be in my checking account. The system only keeps amounts that are going out in the short term in checking. Giving the option to exclude those specific accounts would be very helpful.

  8. Currently, the Division Filter only allows for all divisions or individual divisions. Please create an option to checkbox particular divisions so that it is possible to include and exclude particular divisions when utilizing the 990 reporting.

  9. Be able to email / text an invite to campaign from a profile and/or campaign and when registered, not create a new profile. Ideally, have a user portal experience like the fund advisors. This would create ability to see donations, campaigns, ticket purchases, etc.

  10. We would like to be able to download account values directly into the Community Suite at least once each month to improve efficiency and keying errors. The best would be the ability to download daily market close information for each investment position held that post a price at market close and quarterly for investments which value once per quarter.

  11. I am bringing back a couple of ideas you have previously archived. It is not clear whether the system architecture will not allow these changes to be made or if there is insufficient support for the idea. However, the way the system is behaving today is extremely misleading.

    Situation:
    When adjustments are made to a promise record, the system does not allow it to be deleted. The only option is to Cancel the promise record.

  12. When a piece of contact information is marked inactive, it should either be moved to the bottom of the list or moved to a different tab. It also should not show up at the top of the profile screen.

  13. Currently, the cover credit card fee checkbox appears for all registrants during event ticket checkout and cannot be disabled at the event level. For foundations that do not want donors covering CC fees for specific events, the only option is to include messaging asking registrants to skip the checkbox -- which not everyone follows.

    A toggle at the event level that controls whether the cover CC fee option displays during checkout would give foundations more control over the experience and eliminate the need for workaround messaging.

  14. shortname works in most fund fields through out the system; however, it does not work when adding a fund on the fund advisor screen. Please make it consistent so that using shortname works in all fund fields....

  16. The Donor Rollup Report currently totals the donation amount when the roll up household option is taken. It would be more beneficial if the First Donation Date & Last Donation Date were updated as well when this option is selected. Ideally it would show the First Donation Date, which would be the earliest date for the household profile or the members, including advised donations. The last donation date would show the date of the last gift given by the household, any of the members, & include advised gifts as well.

  18. I would love to be able to set up default scholarship distributions, similar to recurring grants and grant beneficiaries. We have funds that release scholarships every year but there is currently no way to automate this process for scholarships similar to how it can be done for grants through recurring or grant beneficiaries.

  20. Quickbooks online has a feature where in the field you can do some basic math which is convenient for the way we have to post hst in Canada. In a field you can say 300/1.14 to calculate out the tax. It saves having to have a calculator beside you and is very convenient.
