  1. When posting/approving grants, if there are no more grants to be reviewed, why do we have to then click to return to the grant you just approved? This extra step will really make a difference in Q4 when we're posting several hundred grants.

  3. For the new portal I know you're able to login and view all of the funds you are a fund advisor for and then click into that funds overview. Say I am a fund advisor for a few Library funds in the area, is there a way to have one page that shows the summary of each fund? To view them all together?

    There is an option to create an Affiliate profile, then add funds to the affiliate and add to a Fund Advisor. Detailed instructions can be found in this help article: https://support.foundant.com/hc/en-us/articles/4409824568599-Affiliate-Portal

  4. When we generate fund statements for mailing, we also export a CSV of the fund advisors who should be receiving the statements to merge into an envelope. When the CSV is generated, contact information is not exported for organizations, only individuals. This is critical as fund statements should go to certain people within the organizations and sometimes even multiple people within the organization. Please fix the CSV export!

  5. We hold a paid program for executive directors for other local nonprofits every other year. We use C-Suite's Invoices to invoice the nonprofits. For those nonprofits that pay by credit card, the transaction ends up in Donations. It would be great to link their "donation" to their open invoice.

    In the new portal, a profile will be able to pay an invoice by credit card with the customer tab enabled. This could eliminate this problem. To apply a credit card payment to an invoice, it must be a profile payment, not a donation.

  6. We just sent our first bulk batch of transfer requests using the functionality in CSuite and were so excited! Previously, this was so tedious and having this "new" option was so optimistic!

    Could we please have the ability to pull the transfer "description" into the transfer letter? We request both grants and fees and have one template for this, however, there is no way for the advisor to know what we are requesting whether it be a grant reimbursement or admin fees without this description line pulling.

  7. CSS suggestion - could the color coding of the Fund drop down box be different than the content? If you make it anything other than white or a light color, the fund drop down box gets lost.

  8. We enter vouchers for all credit card purchases. However, the new voucher refund does not allow you to "deposit" the refund to the credit card account; only bank accounts are listed. Instead, I have to enter a negative voucher and apply it to the credit card. Would be great to have the credit card account listed as one of the accounts to deposit the refund.

I would like to add the capability to include the employee named that a task is shared with when an opportunity task is created so that both team members can share accountability for the outcome. We use this information in our development meetings and have a custom report created. It would be great to add this to our report to help with assignments.

  11. After posting fund fees, please allow for an export of the transaction detail. Currently once can only copy the detail and paste into excel in order to then be able to sort and analyze the data for volume of income from different fund types - an important part of my analysis, as I want to see how much partially-endowed funds are providing in comparison to fully endowed & non-endowed funds, as it's the most popular segment but the most active & unpredictable in terms of contributions and granting. Have an export will help immensely.

  12. We have a Campaign - Race (5k Run/Walk).

    Needed to distribute a check received from a third-party (race organizer) as donations from multiple Profiles (race participants) related to a Campaign.

    • Race organizer collected (100% donation) $25 registration fees and added $1 surcharge for processing.
    • Race organizer included additional donation to Fund - not necessarily linked/related to Campaign.

    IDEA: Allow soft credit at "Buy a Ticket" option of Profile Payment.

    I apologize if this isn't clear. I have to figure out the best way to solve this problem.

  13. We would like to add a note to RSVP's. For example, we currently have an event where people are RSVP-ing "No", but would like to talk to staff at a separate time. This would be a great way to keep track of these people/organizations.

  14. Add Contact First and Last Name as field options for year end tax receipt templates. It would be nice to add the name of an organization's primary contact (which we add to org's first and last name, plus first name in the Salutation) so when sending tax receipt letters for our annual giving day, we don't have to edit the PDF to include the names (I've already voted that these export to Word files). Thank you!

  15. The observation of not being able to save a backdated maturity date for a Term Investment doesn’t make sense. When modifying all the term investments to make it easier to maintain in Foundant, I didn’t have an issue with the majority that I had to backdate.

    For the term investments that don’t have an edit option for the maturity date, this will not work in the future. I need to be able to always have the ability to edit the term investment if something comes up, it can’t only ever be edited once. That is just not possible/doable. I’ve found…

  16. Term Investments - have defaults for revenue accounts, borrowing fund, asset accounts pre populated as these are always the same.

    Smart tips would be helpful in creating a new term investment for distribution fields.

  17. It would be extremely helpful to us, as we continue to clean up our data after implementation, to be able to create reports, and group profiles, by Uploading Legacy Profile Code IDs. We're still grabbing data from our previous system, and those records do not have any connection to their counterpart Profile Id in CSuite.

  18. I would love the ability to create a customized word template based on criteria from specific reports, where the data from that report would merge directly into the template. For example, I want a directory of all our Board Members, with work information and primary contact information. I created a custom report using Profile Org Role, but now I will need to export that information to merge into a word doc template. I would love to be able to do that merge within the system.
