New Fund Portal Doesn't Show Purchased Tickets
Help! The updated fund portal "the portal" does not show ticket sales when using campaigns, if they are not true donations/contributions. This is a change and a negative one! I have sold the campaign function to fund advisors for things like events and or membership drives - but now they don't see ticket sales (non gift) in the portal! If you export a donation excel list, you can see the ticket sales USED to be in there. For some reason, they stopped showing up (unless it's the 3% donation add on). Big loss for function and customer service.

Donation Receipt only after posted
Generate receipt option only after donations are posted to avoid errors and accidentally sending a receipt too early, but still allow you to save the donation in the system as a placeholder.

Loan Module
Our organization makes loans to external organizations. It would be helpful if the information from the loan module could be exported to a fund statement. I believe currently only internal loan information is able to be published on a statement.

Inactive Vendor
When entering vouchers and searching for a vendor it would be great if inactive vendors did not populate in the drop down while you are typing. If they are inactive they shouldn't be having vouchers charged against them anyways. It would be nice if they also showed at the bottom of the regular search bar instead of mixed in with everything else.

Add "Item Dates" to Tax Receipt Fields
It would be nice to include an "Item Date" for tax receipts in the foreach item section. Currently, if you wish to include the date of an item/donation for a tax receipt in a table, a SET-REF condition needs to be used within the template.

Grant Request Notes should create a flag in backend so we know there are special instructions on a grant request
The Allow Grant Request Notes gives us the option for fund advisors to put special instructions in as a note. However, when processing in bulk there is no clear way for the grants administrator to see that there are special instructions on that grant. They would also need to scroll all the way to the bottom to see this in the individual grant. So we have this feature turned off. We would like to turn it on, but we want to make sure that it is clear to our users in the back end that there is a special request…

Campaign field on donation report
I would like in a donation report to pull the campaign field. This way we could have a much more detailed donation report or group donations by campaign. Because we would like to see donations that came in because of a campaign and ones not from the campaign in one report. Right now there isn't a way to do this without using the external API and building it in PowerBI.

batch update award date in scholarship list
It would be nice to batch update the award date and payment date in the scholarship tab of c-suites when they come over from SLM. As it is now, we have to change each scholarship award date and payment date individually.

Journal Entry Sort
Currently, journal entries are displayed sorted by debit and credit values, which makes it difficult to review and approve entries efficiently.
When comparing entries against the entry spreadsheet, which lists them in the order of journal entry ID, the current sorting method disrupts the sequence and increases the likelihood of oversight or error. This misalignment between the system view and the entry format complicates the review process and slows down approvals.

Account List-Fund ID's
Please add a Fund ID column to ANY report that lists funds (at the very minimum if fund group/subgroup/division can not be added)
When in Accounts and click on the account hyperlink to see what funds are associated with that account - it is a combined name i.e. "xyz fund::Designated" with no fund identification. Makes it very difficulty to export/copy-paste and do any v-lookups.1 vote -

Link grant to campaign or opportunity
Over the years, many requests have been made to enable the ability to link an internal grant to a campaign or an opportunity (see list of requests below), but Foundant @skyeweber has always archived the idea due to lack of activity. For community foundations, much of our work is with fund advisors who hold funds with us, so it is important for us to be able to link our efforts to fundraise for programs through internal grants, and to link those to campaigns or opportunities. Add a downvote option in Idea Lab
I have recently been surprised by some new implementations/announcements that are very disruptive to my work (specifically, the change in the fund search function and the announcement that there will now be a Donate button next to the grant request button in the advisor portal). Can there be a more democratic process for the ideas that get implemented? Currently it seems that the process is to get some/lots of votes in Idea Lab or to be an "important" person/organization and get your wishes granted.

Tribute Template - Salutation Merge Field
For our Tribute letters, the Salutation merge field populates with the first and last name of the recipient. Would it be possible to have it just populate with the first name of the person or the couple receiving the letter? This would make the letter less formal, especially when it is being sent to any donors that we have a long-standing relationship with. I saw a post where this change was implemented for the Tax Receipt template, so I'm hopeful this would be an easy fix for Tribute templates as well. Thank you! Kelley H.

duplicate screen
Hi - it would be great if the screen showing duplicates would indicate what type of record it is, particularly if a record is a student. With just a giant list of names, it is hard to pick out the ones the student aid team needs to look at. (or a fund holder, or vendor etc) OR the date the duplicate was added. OR the number of times the record shows. If we have 3 John Lennons and one was created last week, we might be able know who needs to fix it at a glance.

internal grant show originating fund name in donation report
When a donation/grant is INTERNAL, please show in the description field, or the trefname field that has the grant number, the name of the fund where the donation is originating from. Please have this show up in reporting.
