Grant Request Notification - Include More Information
The grant request notifications we currently receive when clients request a grant, contain the name of the fund advisor who submitted the grant request, the grantee name, and the grant amount. We would prefer that the grant request notifications include more information similar to that of the grant request emails that fund advisors receive. The information we would like to see included would be fund name, grantee EIN, grantee address, and grant description.

Restrict logging in as other Users to the Admin security group
The current functionality allows any user with permissions to Login As (UserA) to login as another user (UserB) and act as UserB with UserB's permissions which may be different than UserA's permissions. For example, someone who assists Fund Advisors and has no financial permissions could Login As someone with Accounting group membership and surreptitiously generate and print checks. There is currently a security feature that prevents users who are not in the Admin security group from logging in as a User who is in the Admin group. Could this feature could be expanded so that only Admin users can Login…

Multi-fund donation - Payment Date
When entering a donation and using the multi-fund feature, a payment is automatically created. The payment date is defaulting to today's date - it is not pulling the date used when entering the donation. Unfortunately there is no way to adjust the payment date after the fact. This used to not be the case and something has changed.

Submit Idea
When checks are generated in CommunitySuite, the written dollar amount currently appears in the following format:
Two thousand two hundred and forty-eight dollars and 47/100
This format includes “and” within the whole-number portion of the amount. While grammatically correct, it differs from the more common U.S. check-writing convention, where “and” is typically reserved for the cents portion.
Example of the commonly used U.S. format:
Two thousand two hundred forty-eight and 47/100 dollars
This wording is standard in many U.S. accounting systems and check templates, so the current format can appear unusual to finance teams that are accustomed to the U.S.…

opportunity beneficiaries
The listing of beneficiary opportunities on the Org relationship tab is great. However, could you please add the donor's name on that listing? We don't know who these donors are because there is no name listed. This would be very helpful.
Thank you.3 votes -
Opportunity Task Workflow (Repost due to archived)
We are using opportunities and opportunity tasks to help with reporting on development activities. This often requires creating a number of tasks to detail some of the ongoing activities in a more dynamic way than is offered by a recurring task.
I would love to see a new function in opportunities to add a "Task Flow" which would add a list of tasks and time frames at once. These flows could be CUSTOM designed for different development activities in an ideal world and could even further follow advanced logic if built out completely.
For example: A development lunch.
Flow would…

Donation Rollup Reports
When you do a donation rollup report in custom reports, it spits back inactive household profiles. We would still like to use the rollup report to get the advised and household donations rolled up, but would like to see the name of the active individual attached to this household profile.

Add "planned giver" and "prospect" designations
We would like to add two designation types to the existing options: Planned Giving/Gift/Giver (whatever makes more sense) and Prospect. We currently use a Profile Type, but it hides that under the Relationships tab. It would be helpful to see they have a planned giving commitment at the native profile level, just as easily as whether a profile is a Donor. We also anticipate this will give us other ways to run reports and dashboard data not currently available.

text message to notify fund advisors of grants and donations
We have received requests to notify a fund advisor via text when a donation or grant is available. CSuite currently allows emails. Any chance the texting those notifications could be added?

Allow Internal Grant Letters to Pull Receiving Fund Fund Advisor Info (Name/Address)
When generating an internal grant letter (e.g., a DAF granting into an Agency Fund or Field of Interest Fund), foundations may want to notify the receiving fund advisor that a grant has been made into their fund.
Currently, there are no available merge fields that allow users to pull:
-The primary fund advisor of the receiving fund
-The receiving fund advisor’s mailing address
-Other advisor contact details from the receiving fundThis limitation makes it difficult to automate internal notification letters for:
-Interfund grants
-DAF → Agency Fund grants
-DAF → Field of Interest grantsCurrent Limitation:

internal grant letter template field
In the Internal Grant letter template, I would love to have the advisor household salutation. You have included the advisor household label, but my only option for the salutation is one member of the household. So, we are manually editing all the internal grant salutations. Please help us be more efficient by providing the advisor household salutation!

Edit calculate date of manual fees
When processing manual fees, the calculation date automatically generates as the date that the fees were processed. That's inaccurate for us as our fees are all calculated as of quarter end but most likely not processed until a month later. We would prefer that a calculation date field be added so that we can select the date ourselves.

Batch Process Manual Fees
We would like to add more than one fund to a manual fee entry. We frequently have to process manual fees for more than 100 funds, and it would be cleaner and less time consuming if this could be all in one manual fee entry with different funds (like journal entries where you can add a fund). In addition, a duplicate or copy function would be ideal so we can simply edit information as needed each quarter after duplicating last quarter's fees.
The current manual fee entry process is so very time consuming compared to our previous software which allowed…

Edit default subject field for emailed tax receipts
The option to email tax receipts directly from a donation does not provide a customization option, so you have to edit the text that will be in the subject of the email for each donation if you don't prefer to use C-Suite's default subject field. Please add the ability to create our own default subject field that will generate for every donation.

shiny new look
Shiny New Look: Responded to user feedback on the new UI updates, particularly around visibility and shading:
- Increased contrast when grouping a custom report.
- Increased contrast between enabled and disabled action buttons according to user permissions.
- Updated buttons for generating award letters on scholarships. This did not happen on my sccreen

LYBUNT
LYBUNT Report in Dashboards is not accurate because it counts donations from households and individuals as separate.
For example, if Jane Doe only donated in 2025 but the Jane and John Doe household donated in 2026, the LYBUNT report would show Jane Doe which would be incorrect because Jane actually did donate in 2026 with John through the household.
I suggest having the LYBUNT report consider donations from indiv and their households as one unit to prevent this issue.
