  1. It would be nice to be able to list more than one email address as "Pay" on profiles. Often times larger organization's need to have multiple people notified of grant payment details - someone in the Finance office, the CEO, and the person who is managing the grant. Further, organization's regularly request that we notify multiple people and its frustrating that we have to either tell them we can't do it or find work arounds on their email filters or shared email accounts to make this happen.

  2. Need to create a recurring voucher that has a multi-fund. Currently, I create the lines for each fund's account but can only put in one fund. Once I create the voucher, then I can select the multiple fund. Opportunity for Functional Reporting and Efficiency: We figured out a method to do mutliple fund for functional reporting as transactions are recorded. This allows for timely reporting of by functional accounts. However, it takes more time with our recurring vouchers (75% of our transactions) to edit for the mutliple funds.

  3. Previous Journal Entry bulk imports can be viewed/edited/deleted easily. The same should be true of custom field imports. Currently there is no way to reverse a custom field import and since these imports can change large amounts of data, there should be an option to reverse or undo the import.

  4. For Journal Entry imports, you can view previous imports and view/unpost/delete the transactions tied to those import events. The same should be true for the custom field imports. Right now, there is no way to reverse a custom field import if it is made in error. The poses a threat to the data as large amounts of data can be altered and then lost.

  5. We recently lost a large portion of our custom field data because of a error on a custom field import. As the import had been run in both our sandbox and live sites, we were not able to pull the older data from the sandbox to fix the live site. Foundant cannot pull specific data out of a back up (would need to set the whole system back to the back up date) and so we are stuck with having lost that data. It would be a weight off our minds if we could know there is a work around…

  6. Now that closed funds have an option to be viewed in the portal, it would be nice to have the option to add closed funds to the fund advisor designation so folk can see the history in the portal.

  7. When fund advisors use the guide star search, when staff process the grants in the new bucket all they can see in the new grantee field is the name and that it was from guidestar search. Often times, even though the guidestar search was used, we actually already have the grantee in our system. Our grants manager has to make the new grantee, compare it to the one in our system, and if it already exists then delete the new profile, and change the grantee in the grant.   8. Can you make the function that exists for Fund Advisor (legacy) available to all user logins? In this function, you can set the primary email as the login username in bulk and send an email for the user to set a password.

  10. For the new portal, when a grant is added to the New bucket in CSuite it is also visible to fund advisors on the portal. It would be better if it didn’t display in the portal until the grant is paid. Before the grant is paid, there is a chance the grant hasn’t been reviewed yet and the information isn’t accurate. If a grant request is submitted through the portal, it should display the status of that grant throughout the process.   12. If a fund advisor has multiple funds, i.e. an affiliate, on the screen where they can choose which fund to access, is there a way to put the fund balance under the fund name? That way you can see the fund balance without opening each fund.

  13. It would be great if the grant refunds could impact the grant total amount in the same manner as grant cancellations.
    At a minimum, the grant coding from the orginal grant should carry over into the grant refund or, at the very least, have a place to enter the Fund Grant Type Name in the grant refund record.

    When running reports by Fund Grant Type Name, refunds are blank resulting in the need to manually code them in excel each time a report is run

  14. This has been requested before and marked as implemented, but not actually. Every auditor requests an A/P aging as of 12/31/24. Currently, if you select A/P aging, the report looks great and is exactly what you would want/expect. But if you select historical aging, instead, you get a list by fund, no aging aspect, and it's not anything like the current A/P Aging. Please create a report, as this is standard in most accounting systems, that will satisfy the auditors, without us having to export to excel, sort by invoice number, total by invoice number, and then manually age.   15. Customizing the Portal's styles is unnecessarily difficult. In part, this is because the elements on each page are only given generic classes. In particular, the body element has the classes "ft_body" and "portal." But that makes it very difficult to target the content of only one page with a desired style.

    Instead, the body element should be given a unique id attribute to distinguish the page on which it appears from every other page. Ideally, the id should identify the role-based portal in which the page appears and the function of the page within that portal.
