  1. If a profile has an accent in their address etc, once it gets to the portal cart, it switches to an ascii character. Same thing happens if the description typed in by the donor has an accent in it, it also switches to an ASCII character.

  2. When working with fiscal projects, we are hoping to teach them how to read financial statements. The fund statement is not a true statement of activity, budget, or balance sheet. It would be easier to send them monthly fund statements with their financials already attached, either through an option or a template.

  3. When an photo is uploaded into C-Suites, it covers up what type of file it is (individual, household, organization.) This has limited our use of that part of the product.

    It would be helpful if there was a way to continue to display what type of file it is if uploading a photo.

  4. Reposting Previous Suggestion-

    Please add the address and phone type fields to the template when importing new profiles. I am importing lots of new profiles but have to go back and manually add the address type and email type. This is a very tedious process.

  5. We have been instructed by Foundant's support team to populate the "Sponsored Org" field on grants with the Sponsoring Org. Can this field be renamed to "Fiscal Sponsor" so that it aligns with how it is intended to be used. This would also require "Sponsor", which appears on grant reports, to be renamed to "Sponsored Org". If that cannot be implemented across CSuite due to other clients using these fields as they are named, can we be given the ability to rename these fields within our specific CSuite site?

Before the portal redesign, fund advisors who logged in were able to see everyone who had access to a fund (e.g., if John and Jane Smith were the two advisors on a fund, either one of them could see both of their names as people with access on the fund summary page after logging in). This functionality is no longer available with the new portal layout - could a toggle/setting be added in to reinstate this feature?   7. It would be nice if Foundant can add CAMPAIGN and EVENT as optional fields to the existing voucher template. When there are hundreds of credit card transactions, it is very time-consuming and tedious to sort/enter CAMPAIGN and EVENT only after the transactions are loaded in CSuite. Thank you.

  8. We would like to be able to hide statement vouchers in the Fund Advisors voucher tab. These transactions are sometimes confusing for the advisor We would like the vouchers they see to be relevant. Maybe this goes further to be able to filter and hide certain vendors?

  9. For hardship assistance grants, these flow through the scholarship module but we would like for the accounting to not hit the default scholarship payable liability and scholarship expense accounts. Would like to see a liability and expense account added to the scholarship that can override the system defaults.

  10. Can you make it so that grant letter emails can be tracked? It would be great to be able to run an Undelivered Email report and see if these emails were actually delivered.

  11. I get lots of emails from Community Suite when someone includes me on a Note, or creates a Voucher for a fund I'm an approver on. Clicking on the link in those emails involves a 3 step process:
    1. Link takes me to the login page for our CS instance.
    2. After logging in successfully, I'm taken to our dashboard.
    3. But what about that original link? I need to go back to email and click it again, to go to the item in question.

  13. Need to create a recurring voucher that has a multi-fund. Currently, I create the lines for each fund's account but can only put in one fund. Once I create the voucher, then I can select the multiple fund. Opportunity for Functional Reporting and Efficiency: We figured out a method to do mutliple fund for functional reporting as transactions are recorded. This allows for timely reporting of by functional accounts. However, it takes more time with our recurring vouchers (75% of our transactions) to edit for the mutliple funds.

  14. Previous Journal Entry bulk imports can be viewed/edited/deleted easily. The same should be true of custom field imports. Currently there is no way to reverse a custom field import and since these imports can change large amounts of data, there should be an option to reverse or undo the import.

  15. For Journal Entry imports, you can view previous imports and view/unpost/delete the transactions tied to those import events. The same should be true for the custom field imports. Right now, there is no way to reverse a custom field import if it is made in error. The poses a threat to the data as large amounts of data can be altered and then lost.

  16. Similar to Create Grant Requests in a bulk action from the Grants bucket, it would be nice to have a bulk create voucher requests. Currently, I have to do these one by one and it is a very slow process to have to do that for recurring vendors who are paid through the fund advisor portal.

  17. The fund balances aren't aligning with the contribution, grant, and distribution totals due to credit card processing fees applied to donations. Is there a way for the fund advisor to drill down into each donation or view a separate screen that shows the associated fees, even before the end-of-quarter statement is posted?

In the portal there is now the option to see household donations, which is a feature we highly requested that was implemented recently (https://idealab.foundant.com/forums/597718-communitysuite-idea-lab/suggestions/48809117-household-donations-on-donor-portal). However, if a profile does not have the donor designation, they are unable to see the donor portal when they log in as a fund advisor, thus are unable to benefit from seeing the household donations. In order to allow these profiles to see the household donations, I'd like a bulk way to set the donor designation on to profiles. This way they can have access to the portal. Otherwise, this household donation visible…

  19. A HUGE time saver would be the ability to attach one file to multiple journal entries at once. Currently, if the same documentation needs to be attached to multiple entries, you have to do it one at a time. A button on the main journal entry screen for a "bulk attach file" would be greatly beneficial. Say you could upload the file and then select all the entries it needs to be attached to. This pain point comes up all the time with multi-fund entries for payroll and other various monthly/quarterly closing tasks.

  20. It would be helpful if we could have more than one Donation Advisor (i.e. soft credit) on all gifts. For example, if a couple gives through a commercial DAF or trust, we can only add one of the members of the couple or the household. If we add the household as the donation advisor, the gift history will only show on the household. That information doesn't flow down to the individuals. But if we add one of the two spouses, that information will roll up to the household. If we could add both spouses, that would be ideal.
