  1. Is there a way to enter a voucher for an annual subscription where it automatically records the prepaid and corresponding monthly subscription expense in each following month? Or can the prepaid only be spent down through journal entries? I think it would be very helpful to have the option to enter the prepaid voucher with corresponding monthly spend down at the initial input.

    Once the voucher is posted, you could create a recurring journal entry with an end date. Not a perfect solution, but you would not need to remember to create a new journal entry each month.

  2. Looking to see if this can be a possibility in the future. For INACTIVE household donations, made inactive due to one member of the household having died, to be absorbed by the living members profile. This would make it so the household itself would no longer have to be linked to that individual. Also when that individual logs into the portal, they could see their past household donations included in with their individual donations, if there are any.

  3. The bulk create yearly tax receipts is a great function - and I would love it if we could leverage the way we do statements. Currently, the option is to mail or email the yearly receipt on an individual level. If we could have a way to bulk create them for donors and publish to the fund advisor portal, not the donor portal, so that fund advisors can see the tax receipts this would get around the issue of individuals having to change the profile to the household to see household donations.   4. We now allow users to edit their own information. Our records allow photos to be included for each user. So when the user clicks on "Personal Information" -> "Edit Information", can we allow them to add (or change) a photo?
    - It's unclear to me how the photos in the profiles are used. I don't see where they show up.

    - They should show up at least when you are viewing the profile. But other photo uses are possible including when you are listing the advisors/managers of funds, photos are worth a thousand words.

  5. Add date filters to the Campaign Income Statements, that allows for information to be pulled for specific date ranges - i.e: to be able to view the IS for a specific period or month rather than the current YTD.

    This ability will assist with audit preparation as some events cross fiscal years

  6. We see that this request has been archived in the past. Please reconsider it. If we import a large batch of grants or use the "Create Spendable Grants" to create hundreds of grants at one time, there is no way to bulk delete those grants once created if we find there is either an error or something that needs to be run differently. Individually opening and deleting each grant is extremely time consuming. Bulk actions can be found in other areas throughout the site. Can bulk delete of grants be implemented?

  7. When you set up fund advisors for the portal, they are usually linked to the individual advisor's profile, not the household. This makes setting the household as the advisor when entering grants difficult because it populates the profiles with portal access. We then have to manually update this on the next page to the household profile, and this sometimes causes confusion if the individual profile is selected.

    It would be nice to set up a profile as a fund advisor without having it linked to portal access. Often, households want separate portal access but make their grants together and want…

    There is the following fund setting that populates a drop down box when a Fund Advisor requests a grant. This is would require the household to be an advisor - you do not need to give them fund access:

    • Allow Additional Advisors - Allows fund advisors to make grant requests on behalf of other advisors.
    • This does not need to be selected to have more than one fund advisor setup on a fund.
  8. The alert banner automatically breaks words when the page gets resized. It isn't possible to edit language in the banner so that when the browser is resized, the words stay together -- it automatically moves characters to the next line. See example attached

  10. We have some donor advisors who have endowed funds and want 100/50/etc% of their annual distribution to go to the same organization each year. Currently they can only set an amount for a recurring grant recommendation, but since their fund is subject to a spending policy their spendable balance amount varies year after year. Setting a percentage vs. an amount would be helpful.

  12. When paying out a scholarship, currently, the award date can be later than the payment date. There should be a safeguard in place where this can't happen, in case someone makes a mistake.

  14. We are encountering a problem when an individual registers for an event as an organization. This results in duplicate profiles of the organization, and we are unable to merge or delete the profiles because a ticket is associated with it. Additionally, we have difficulty knowing which individual from the organization is attending the event because the person registering does not usually go back to edit the guest information with their name. To solve this, we would like to have an option added to the donation and ticket check out page, allowing donors/attendees to input their Organization Name/Work Organization on the…

    You should be able to change the new organization profile to an individual, then merge it. Extra steps - I know, but that would be a current solution to the duplicates.

  15. We would like to be able to edit a campaign after tickets are created. Currently, we cannot edit any information on the "Details" tab once tickets are created. Sometimes, we need to make slight changes to descriptions or event names and cannot do this once tickets have been added to the event.

  16. When a tax receipt letter and/or grant letter is generated, have an option or a box to check to automatically upload it to the Portal. Right now, I save the letter to our server, then have to upload the letter to the portal. This is too many steps for the volume of letters that I create.

  17. We would like the ability to automatically send an email notification to the recipient of a payment when a voucher is posted/processed in CommunitySuite.

    Currently, there is no built-in way to notify the recipient that a payment has been initiated or processed. This creates additional manual work for staff to communicate payment status and can lead to confusion or follow-up inquiries from recipients.

    Use Case:
    When a voucher is processed for a grant or payment, an automated email could be triggered to notify the recipient, including relevant details such as:
    -Payment amount
    -Fund or purpose
    -Expected timing (if applicable)

We would like for the option to be able to toggle the Voucher details view to show only the details for that voucher before payments (like the high-level view we see in the grant request bucket before it gets moved to “New”). The expanded details view is very busy, moves items around, and includes empty fields + added buttons. It would be very helpful to be able see, at a glance, only the details pertaining to the voucher before it’s paid without the added buttons (edit, add, remove, etc.).

  19. Currently under the affiliate portal view there is not an option to run a manual fund statement as under the donor portal view. Recently we had to update many of our funds to become affiliate funds. To keep the same functionality as was previously given to our fund advisors, we must attach the parent fund to the portal to be able to run a manual fund statement.
