Printed Fund Statement Letter Template
Is it possible to have a template letter to include with the printed Fund Statements just like the template for the emailed Fund Statements? We want to customize the letter each quarter and pull in the "Salutation" field for each printed Fund Statement.

Public Name for Internal Grant Funds
It would be great to have the option to include the public name of the receiving fund for internal grant records. Right now this option only seems to exist for the originating fund. Since many of our Funds have a public name, right now when we create our fund records for example, they are showing the internal name of our Funds like Operating Fund, rather than the public name, CNYCF Community Fund.

Imports to a Linked Donor Fund
I would like to be able to upload a donation import file that includes donations to a fund that has linked donors.
Today my import failed because the file had one donation to a fund with a linked donor. The linked donor on the fund was also the donor in the import file.

Investment activity on Fund Summary dashboard in portal
I posted on this topic back in October and recently the Foundant folks said it was implemented in the new version of the portal. But the way it was implemented doesn't really fit with what our fund advisors are looking for, so I'm giving it another shot! We've tested the "Show Donor Portal Investments" option in our sandbox and it does not provide the activity we want to share, or that our fundholders are interested in. They're looking for net investment activity for the most recent month available.
Our big wish is to display net investment activity from the most recent period (month) on the Fund Summary screen. We know we can pull this field into a statement of activity, so I'm wondering if we can work with Foundant to find a way to display it on Fund Summary, pulling from the same field as we do for our statements of activity. Fund admin fees on Fund Summary in portal
Our fund advisors would really like to see support fees (aka admin fees) on the Fund Summary page. Currently the only way we can report the fees assessed to their fund on a quarterly basis is by producing a statement of activity. Including this information on Fund Summary would provide a clearer picture of activity in their fund. Thanks!

Add Yearly-Tax Receipt to Portal in Files or Statements
Create option to generate yearly tax receipts via a template (like we can with Fund Statements) that we can add to the portal in either Statements or Files. Currently donors can see and print their receipts individually, but not a yearly tax receipt. A yearly tax receipt on the portal would be an great addition!

On the Fund Balance Report: Could you please add ability to see fields for fund group, fund subgroup, fund division and fund segment - especially on the Export of the report.

Add the field 'Who' with dropdown options so a different staff person can be indicated in lieu of the person entering the note.
Allow for a staff person to indicate a different staff person in a 'Who' field when entering a note instead of auto populating this field with the person who is logged in.

check labels
ALL labels and envelopes should be downloadable in Word for easy editing. The area where they are not that I have had issues with today is in check batches. I use that feature when we do our large designated check run each year and the labels always need adjusted. Even with Acrobat Pro, this is difficult to do.

Donation Notify Email Subject
Request: Add the ability to customize the subject line of the Donation Notify Email.
Clear, tailored subject lines are essential for fund holders to immediately recognize the purpose and source of the email. As it stands, the default subject line is vague and can appear suspicious or irrelevant. Allowing subject line customization would improve clarity, trust, and overall communication when donations are made to a fund holder's fund.

donation receipt
I feel like the donation tax receipt area is a bit confusing. I think it might be easier to understand that you "sent" out the receipt with a check box instead of an "unsend" once receipt is sent. It confuses me every time. Maybe it's just me, but I feel like the wording is just a bit tricky.

Pop-up Communications for Fund Advisors that show in the Portal
Would really like the ability to create customized communications that would appear as a pop-up in the portal when a fund-holder logs in to share things they are working on, foundation news, funding opportunities, etc. with fund advisors.

Change global search bar search options
Have the ability to change the way the global search bar/other search bars pull up data. example: right now the global search bar alphabetizes by last name, then prefix, then first name. Would like to be able to switch that order to Last name then first name.

filter selections showing "invalid" error when editing a report
Very frequently, when updating a report filter, this error comes up on a new page "Invalid reporting action ',editfilter'" - you have to go back to the report and select the filter again.
Please fix this issue and allow us to only select the field to update once when editing a report.7 votes -

Please add an AUTOMATIC way to add SLM Follow Up Form, student thank you notes and pictures as files to share with Fund Advisors - in their "files" section.
The current process is to individually:
1) download each thank you note and student picture from the SLM Follow Up Form
2) match with the known fund advisor, listed on file in C-Suite
3) email each fund advisor (and donor) the thank you note and picture2 votes -

Report on all notes in the system and be able to see the profile associated with the note, whether the note is directly on the profile or the note is on an opportunity with a profile as the primary opp profile.

Export format to excel to preserve hyperlinks
This idea has been proposed before but archived for lack of engagement. However, I think it's worth posting again as it would be extremely beneficial to be able to export report to formats other than a plain CSV. For example, if we could export as an excel, it could preserve the hyperlinks in a report.
