  1. When building a custom task report, would like "task id" to be an active link so that tasks could be easily opened and updated from the report. This is currently available for "note id" in a custom note report, but not "task id" in a custom task report.

  2. When we off-board someone, we inactivate their account in CSuite. Depending on the situation, this may be done quickly. Whether it's quick or not, later on, we may need to re-assign their tasks to someone else. They also may have valuable custom reports that they neglected to share. Either one of these two require us to re-activate the user so that we can login as them to address the items. When we do that, we lose tracking on when we originally inactivated them.   3. Please make it possible to remove TASKS from the custom menu at the top of our site. This is something that we do not use very often and just takes up space in the top menu.

  4. When clicking on a Note/Task Type ID number under Opportunities, List Types, please add the ability to list all specific notes/tasks associated with that ID number. For example, when clicking a Profile Type category ID, you can click List Profiles, which displays a list of all profiles with that Profile Type. I want to see all the notes/tasks associated with that type.

  5. There have been 2 ideas archived on this, but it would be so great if we could see the profile name in the task list not just the id#.

    Also, you should be able to tie a task to a profile from the main tasks.

    This is really needed for optimal donor stewardship.

  7. It would be helpful for tasks associated with an opportunity to be marked complete or in some way removed from open tasks when the opportunity has been closed. Presently, the tasks stay active, which requires another step to close an opportunity.

  8. I would like an option to complete multiple grants all at one time, but not ALL grants. Our organization utilizes this function to track when our organizations have submitted their completed grant reports on how funds were used. We process grants and two different types of scholarships. We don't need grant reports for scholarships so I want to mark them complete right after processing them. Right now though this is an all or nothing feature from what I can tell so I have to manually go into each grant and complete it because I don't want to bulk complete all…

    6/5/2024: Summit Idea Lab-Enhanced the Paid bucket in Grants to a custom report to allow for filtering options. This will also allow for the ability to select grants in bulk or individual grants to move to Complete bucket.

    No Permissions Changed.

  9. It would be great if the notification for release notes and tasks were different. Maybe a different color for a task or a release note? Or a different location for these 2 notifications? It's hard to pay attention to "red box" for tasks when the box is red every single day because of release notes.

  10. Hello! Just started using tasks, and enjoying it. Would like a weekly task option, so it's easier to see what is to occur within the week. Filter option would be good too on the dashboard.

  11. We are using opportunities and opportunity tasks to help with reporting on development activities. This often requires creating a number of tasks to detail some of the ongoing activities in a more dynamic way than is offered by a recurring task.

    I would love to see a new function in opportunities to add a "Task Flow" which would add a list of tasks and time frames at once. These flows could be CUSTOM designed for different development activities in an ideal world and could even further follow advanced logic if built out completely.

    For example: A development lunch.

    • (02-13-2025) Bank Reconcile - Settings: Add a new setting "Enable Bank Reconcile Approval". Enabling this setting will add a new column to the Bank Reconcile list of accounts titled Approved By. This will allow a user (with display and list permissions to Bank Reconcile) the option to approve the reconciliation. The user that approves the bank reconciliation must be different from the user that reconciled the account. If the account is unreconciled, the approval will be removed. Two additional columns, reconciled by and approved by, were added to the bank reconcile page. These columns will be populated by the user that reconciled and approved the reconciliation from this point forward. Historical reconciliations will display Foundant Technologies in the Reconciled By column.

  14. My idea is for the Donations, Grants, and Vouchers on the dashboard to be outlined in a red box when there are recurring donations, grants, and/or vouchers to process. This is similar to what happens to Tasks when there is a task with a due date on or before today's date. It will make it easier to see what action is needed right on the dashboard.

  16. Currently we us Outlook 365 and the Outlook desktop program. When I create a task for myself and choose to send a calendar invite, outlook does not allow me to save to my calendar (on the desktop version OR the web version) This means its double duty to create a task so I can track in the CRM system AND then have to create my own calendar invite. This gets to be really redundant and time consuming. Would love a fix or a work around that is not sending my task to another employee to have to send back to…

  17. I believe it would be helpful/beneficial to have a Task automatically created for each initial Recurring Donations. This can prevent missing any RD that need to be posted for the intervals to continue.

    When a RD is created via online the first donation is automatically posted BUT the actual RD is not. With not "Posting Donation" in the RD itself the intervals do not continue. Ideally, in the task page on the left menu under Me there can be a category "Recurring Donation Tasks", and from here we'd be able to view those that NEED posting in order for…

  18. When a task email reminder is sent from CSuite to the person the task is assigned to, can the email include the task description?

  19. Beneficiary and Additional Beneficiaries can be added, but they seem to be underneath the incorrect section. These fields are included under the "add opportunity tasks" rather than the actual opportunity itself. This gives the false impression that this field will be visible on Tasks, when in reality it won't.

  20. Can the task description field be a long text field instead of a short text field? Also would be great to make this a rich text field so we can add bullet points. We like to create a general task with more information on what is needed to complete the task.
