  1. We have had several universities complain that the scholarship letter template is messy and that it would be easier if it was organized by student name. After poking around and speaking with a support specialist, it seems this is not possible.

    I have attached a copy of our current scholarship letter with fake names to give an idea of how Csuite currently arranges the order of students, which is by individual grant. I've also attached an alphabetized version of the same list of "students" to show a better flow.

  2. I propose two key enhancements to the Fund Advisor Portal:

    File Upload Feature:

    Allow fund advisors to upload files directly through the portal. This would streamline the submission process for grant requests by enabling them to attach relevant documents, such as proposals and supporting materials.
    Customizable Fields and Questions:

    Implement a feature that allows administrators to add or modify questions and fields in the grant request forms. This flexibility would help ensure we gather all necessary information tailored to different grant opportunities and donor requirements.

  3. Some of our fund holders are confused by some language and say it is not intuitive and feels too "jargon-y." We appreciate the option to edit language on some of the headers, it would be great to extend that to more places on the portal. We add instructions at the top of each page, but sometimes that isn't enough.

    Some specific requests we've gotten to update the language are:

    "COPY" button under the grants tab.
    "Search Grantee" and "Manual Grantee" buttons when requesting a grant
    "Description" and "Additional grantee contact" when requesting a grant.

  4. If you don't work with grants to know there are some in the system to be paid and you look at a fund that has pending grants, it can look like something is wrong on the fund. The fund balance has been reduced by the pending grants but the assets have not been reduced. This makes sense but for development people who aren't aware of grants, it can get confusing. Could there be some sort of flag on the balance that grants are pending or something?

  5. We have an annual Gala fundraiser event set up as a campaign in C-Suite. The Gala has some tickets for sponsorships, some are tables, some are tickets and some are donation items or underwriting options.

    For only one of those conditions is the best term "Ticket(s)" in the user's Cart Summary page.

    I'd like to be able to provide a noun for use in the cart (in the edit-ticket form), so that respectively above someone could have one sponsorship, two tables, four tickets and one underwritten expense shown in their Cart Summary page as they check out.

  6. Currently, the Division Filter only allows for all divisions or individual divisions. Please create an option to checkbox particular divisions so that it is possible to include and exclude particular divisions when utilizing the 990 reporting.

  7. Be able to email / text an invite to campaign from a profile and/or campaign and when registered, not create a new profile. Ideally, have a user portal experience like the fund advisors. This would create ability to see donations, campaigns, ticket purchases, etc.

  8. We would like to be able to download account values directly into the Community Suite at least once each month to improve efficiency and keying errors. The best would be the ability to download daily market close information for each investment position held that post a price at market close and quarterly for investments which value once per quarter.

  9. Please integrate an option for a yearly consolidated tax receipt that would issue a single tax receipt number for all annual recurring donations, instead of having to send12 separate receipts at year end. This is standard practice in Canada and is required to comply with Canadian law/CRA. We are not able to send a summary document with all receipt numbers listed, although being able to attach a summary to the single receipt is nice, but not necessary.

  11. Right now, it is very difficult to understand what each of the datasets and columns mean while working in the data visualization tool. It would be very help to have either/both of:
    - A full Data Dictionary that explains what each dataset and their columns mean in layperson's terms
    - The ability to export the full dataset from the "Edit Data" page. Right now you can only see a couple rows at a time and there's no search functionality. It would be easier to see what each column means and find what you're looking for with the functionality that an…

  12. When you do a donation rollup report in custom reports, it spits back inactive household profiles. We would still like to use the rollup report to get the advised and household donations rolled up, but would like to see the name of the active individual attached to this household profile.

  13. We would like to add two designation types to the existing options: Planned Giving/Gift/Giver (whatever makes more sense) and Prospect. We currently use a Profile Type, but it hides that under the Relationships tab. It would be helpful to see they have a planned giving commitment at the native profile level, just as easily as whether a profile is a Donor. We also anticipate this will give us other ways to run reports and dashboard data not currently available.

  15. When generating an internal grant letter (e.g., a DAF granting into an Agency Fund or Field of Interest Fund), foundations may want to notify the receiving fund advisor that a grant has been made into their fund.

    Currently, there are no available merge fields that allow users to pull:
    -The primary fund advisor of the receiving fund
    -The receiving fund advisor’s mailing address
    -Other advisor contact details from the receiving fund

    This limitation makes it difficult to automate internal notification letters for:
    -Interfund grants
    -DAF → Agency Fund grants
    -DAF → Field of Interest grants

  16. In the Internal Grant letter template, I would love to have the advisor household salutation. You have included the advisor household label, but my only option for the salutation is one member of the household. So, we are manually editing all the internal grant salutations. Please help us be more efficient by providing the advisor household salutation!

The option to email tax receipts directly from a donation does not provide a customization option, so you have to edit the text that will be in the subject of the email for each donation if you don't prefer to use C-Suite's default subject field. Please add the ability to create our own default subject field that will generate for every donation.
