  1. Zapier lets you connect to 2,000+ other web services. Automated connections called Zaps, set up in minutes with no coding, can automate your day-to-day tasks and build workflows between apps that otherwise wouldn't be possible. In particular, we are looking for new ways to do online fundraising given COVID. We would like to work with GiveButter, a platform that will allow us to livestream an event and collect donations at the same time.

  2. We would like to be able to filter in a grant report by cumulative grants completed for a specific time frame or the lifetime of the fund. We would use this to send specific mailings of appreciation to donors who reach the milestone of donating $100K or $500K+ from their fund. Currently this isn't an option to filter by cumulative total for grants.

  3. I like the idea that we can mark grants complete. It would be great if that screen was more user friendly and let you mark in bulk instead of one a time.

  4. We have just gone into our second year using CSuite and are ready to take a hard look at Permissions. We are finding we would rather have 'departmental' user groups than just the default distinction between Accounting and Staff that was set up at implementation. We have just been granting specific permissions on the fly, as staff run into tasks they are unable to complete, and would like to re-establish a controlled structure.

    We are running into a few hurdles as we try to approach this project, specifically:

    1: there aren't any good definitions on WHAT each permission actually does…

    There are several custom reports that should help you review the permission settings in your site.  


    • Group - will give you a list of groups
    • Group Action - will give you a list groups along with the advanced action for each group.  The report can be grouped by the object, then sorted by the group name to review a site's permissions
    • User Action - will give you a list of Users and the permissions that they have access to.  The report can be grouped by employee then sorted by object.  
    • User Group - will give you a list of employees and the group they have been assigned to.  The report can be grouped by group name to easily review the users assigned to each group.
  5. It would be very helpful if you could set a pop-up reminder for a task or alert that automatically popped up when you log into the system on the date that the reminder is set for.

  6. Please add sort options to task lists. It currently shows in date order. I would like to be able to sort by each of the columns including description.

  7. I want to link a volunteer board member as the solicitor of an opportunity. It would be ideal to add a "Solicitor" field, which can link to profile ID's in CSuite.

    Only field available to link an individual to an opportunity is Assigned field, which only links Users/Employee records to Opportunities & Tasks within.

  8. If a grant has multiple payments coming from it, I would like to be able to "complete" the portion of the grant that has been paid and the check has cleared the bank.
    Similarly, in SLM, if a student has a multi-year grant, I would like to complete (for the current year) any follow-ups rather than leaving them open and continually have to remind myself that I can't set certain items as complete. Once we have been on SLM for several years, I imagine the follow-up Submitted list is going is going to be very long.

  9. On the Grant Request Tab on the Donor Portal, a way to ask for the EIN Number for the Grantee when someone completes a grant request .

    Due to the release of the Portal in the sandbox (August in Live sites), requests related to the legacy fund advisor system are being moved to not planned.  Foundant plans to sunset the legacy fund advisor portal on 4/1/2025.

  10. Please add an additional tier to opportunities. I'd like to sort my donors and prospects into three to five categories > then list the types of opportunities, ie, bequests, new funds, etc > then shift to tasks.

  11. Allow each user the ability to set up their own dashboard so they can see at a glance some data that is of interest to just them, tasks, etc, all in one place.. Perhaps by using widgets or similar.

    Further reporting/dashboard enhancements should be released in 2025.

  12. The copy buttons don't require any confirmation that you actually want to copy prior to the copy being completed currently. This is an issue because it is often next to "edit" or "merge" buttons, so it is fairly easy to mistakenly click from time to time. Additionally, it can be fairly easy to miss that you did copy the record since the only indication is a refresh of your screen in most cases, so this can result in duplicate records and confusion. A simple screen asking if you want to copy this record would avoid this without causing too much…

  14. It would be SO helpful for the primary email that gets pulled in to email grant letters be for the development person (or whoever should get the letter). This is usually different than the primary email for the grantee (CEO, info account, etc.). I think the best way to do this is on the profile have the ability to mark an email for specific tasks (primary, grant letter recipient, etc.). Thanks!

  15. Recurring grants, vouchers & donations all have a way of reminding you that it's time to post/initiate. Wish pledge reminder letters had a similar prompt. Yes, can use Tasks or Outlook but a CSuite reminder to send letters would be great. With the ability to set how long (week/month etc) prior to next pledge date to get the reminder prompt.

  16. When you create a Task and click the check box to "Send Calendar Invite", the person assigned to the tax receives an invite to add to their calendar but it does not have a way to easily choose the time of day for the appointment/task. It would be great if you are scheduling a task to meet with someone you could set the time of the calendar invite. Right now they show up as an entire day entry on the calendar. It's not helpful when scheduling.

    You also don't have an option to accept your own calendar invite. So if…

  18. It would be nice that when we have a task that needs to be done that the task button is red, not just when the task is overdue. That way it signifies that we have a task to do. Additionally, when we have a grant or something that needs approval, when we log in an are on the dashboard, we see the item in red so we know we need to go approve etc

  19. 1- Ability to import securities - helpful as some donors contribute 20+ stocks at a time

    2 -Auto complete the description of the security (but field should be able to be edited if needed). The database pulls the high / low information so it should also be able to pull the name of the security

    3 - Keep the securities listed in the order they are entered. For some reason csuite re-orders (in no particular order) the securities after saving the entry making it difficult to review the stock gift entry

    9/4/2024: Donations: Enhanced the Public Securities workflow. Added the ability to import of stock on the donation record and sell of stock. Updated the securities table to use commas and six decimals places for Quantity and Unit Cost. Description will auto populate using the stock name and quantity of stock on look up of stock during creation, but not on edit of a security. Users have the option from the left hand menu to Upload file. This will allow for a .csv file with symbol, qty, description, unit_cost. Symbol and quantity are required fields on the import. User can use the csv template on the left hand menu to download the template for importing.

    Public Securities: Added the ability import the sale of securities. Users will enter the sale date and account information. The fund field will auto-populate using the fund from the donation record and accounts. Users will enter…
