  1. We just discovered that when you void a check at a future date, the original transaction disappears. There should be a record of the original check, then the voided transaction should reverse the entry. For instance, a check issued in December, but voided in January should still should in the GL in December. The transaction completed disappeared.

    Added the ability for voided checks to display on the voucher record. This will allow clients to see the void on the voucher and help with transparency for year-end audits. Voided checks will now display in red on the bank reconciliation. Clients can now sort the bank reconciliation by check number to easily see the check and void.

  2. When creating a task, while it's nice that there is a calendar invite option, it would also be nice if there was an email alert option. So on the day that they task is set, the system would send an email to me to alert me of the task. This helps with two things - one, since my calendar is through outlook 365 any calendar invite I get doesn't actually add to my calendar so this feature is pointless for me. 2nd, we have a couple employee's who don't "live in the system" (log in every day) because their job…

  3. Stewards are on our household records, but some completed opportunities are on individual profiles. When running reports, I need to pull steward name. Please add household steward as field in Opportunity reports.

    Those top quick menus can be any of the objects listed on the home page. Reach out to support and they can add scholarship to the top for you. It will be for the entire foundation, not a per user setting.

  5. We are using opportunities and opportunity tasks to help with reporting on development activities. This often requires creating a number of tasks to detail some of the ongoing activities in a more dynamic way than is offered by a recurring task.

    I would love to see a new function in opportunities to add a "Task Flow" which would add a list of tasks and time frames at once. These flows could be CUSTOM designed for different development activities in an ideal world and could even further follow advanced logic if built out completely.

    For example: A development lunch.

  6. When I login as another CSuite User and then make an update, the system log shows the action was made by the CSuite User, not by me proxied in as the CSuite user. Is there any way for you to record in the system log when an action has been completed by someone else proxied in as the user? We feel this is critical for audit purposes.

  8. The drop down list of Task Types does not include all the types of tasks I want to track or assign. I can't seem to find any way to edit this list. I can leave the task type blank, but It would be great if you could either simply type in the task type, or edit the available drop down menu.

  10. I'd like to see a column with the profile name when looking at my task list. I know the task itself is hyperlinked to the profile, but I don't always want to go to the profile, just want to see the name of it.

    A Task report is available in Custom Reports. This report will include tasks and opportunity tasks. If you do not want opportunity tasks on the report, filter Op_ID is Null.

  12. Please change the date on the Till Deposit report header to be the date of the deposit, not the date of creation of the deposit into CSuite. We frequently finalize donation entry in the till after the date of the deposit, and therefore don't enter the deposit until donations are completed and verified. Example: Till Deposit 563 - 5/18/20 should be "Till Deposit 563 - 5/12/20" when the deposit date was 5/12/20.

  14. It would be great if when adding a new note, you could choose users to send an automated email to about the new note. I know there is auto-email functionality within tasks, but if something similar could be added to notes as well, that would be great. Thanks for considering!

  15. Often when Foundant support is unable to help with a situation due to product limitations, they'll suggest that I submit it to the Idea Lab. I understand that I have a vested interest and want to see the product improve, but sometimes I'm in a state of doing my best to get work completed. I don't always have time to log into the Idea Lab, search to see if the idea is already out there, then, if it's not re-explain my situation in a new Idea Lab post.

  16. Currently, it appears that we can only provide monthly tax receipts for recurring gifts. If the donor requests a yearly receipt for their recurring gifts there doesn't appear to be an easy "flag" letting us know who has indicated this preference. It would be nice if there was a mechanism within recurring gifts that tracks who wants a yearly receipt of their recurring gift rather than a new receipt every time a recurring gift is processed. The less we rely on an employee to remember to do tasks, the more efficient we can become.

  17. It would be very helpful if you could set a pop-up reminder for a task or alert that automatically popped up when you log into the system on the date that the reminder is set for.

  18. Would it be possible to be able to add as an option to include task type notes (the ones that you can fill in when completing a task) in the customized task reports? There is no other way to search/view them, so you wouldn't necessarily know there is a note attached.

  19. It would be SO helpful for the primary email that gets pulled in to email grant letters be for the development person (or whoever should get the letter). This is usually different than the primary email for the grantee (CEO, info account, etc.). I think the best way to do this is on the profile have the ability to mark an email for specific tasks (primary, grant letter recipient, etc.). Thanks!

  20. We would like to be able to filter in a grant report by cumulative grants completed for a specific time frame or the lifetime of the fund. We would use this to send specific mailings of appreciation to donors who reach the milestone of donating $100K or $500K+ from their fund. Currently this isn't an option to filter by cumulative total for grants.
