  1. Currently, Manual Fund Statements can be created to include days that are outside of the closed period -- This has caused issues for Fund Advisors when they (through the portal) create a manual fund statement. They are including periods that the foundation has not closed, and it is leading to confusion.

    Ask:
    Can there be a warning associated with the Manual Fund Statements to alert a Fund Advisor that the time period they've selected is not within a closed period and therefore the information may not be accurate?

  2. After creating a custom report, it would be great if there was an option to edit the title/name of the report and save.

    Currently, the only way to change a report's name is to "Save As" and go back and delete the original report with the old title.

  3. We implemented a Grant Catalog synced from GLM for the first time so that our DAF holders could recommend grants to our competitive grant cycle directly from their portals. This has been a nice functionality, but now we're having issues pulling reports for the Fund holders because all their grantees show as "Grant Catalog Fund." Although they can see the purpose of the grants, our Donor Services Director would like to be able to sort all grants from any given DAF by the grantee organizations' names. We recently sent out our yearly tax receipts (we call them Annual Donation Summaries) and when these are emailed in Bulk, there is no option to add an email Subject or Body and no option to update the PDF file name. Technically, they aren't tax receipts but a summary of the donations and tax receipts the donors received the previous year. We would like to see the following updates:
    1) Ability to update email subject and body for bulk emails (this functionality exists when sending them individually)
    2) Ability to rename the merged PDF documents before printing/emailing

  5. Please implement a feature that allows for the system to automatically post the subsequent donation for recurring donations.

    Currently recurring donations must be posted manually on some sort of cadence, which takes up a lot of time. It would be highly beneficial if the system could post these automatically when they are due for their next donation.

  6. Since it is not currently possible to delete templates that have grants/donations attached to it, it would be super helpful to be able to "hide" or "archive" old templates. Since so many hands touch these systems over time, it can get pretty overwhelming and difficult for anyone using the system.

  8. It is very rare that a custom report needs to be shared with every employee, typically just one other person or a team. It would be very helpful to be able to select from the user list which employees you want to share with and be able to edit who you shared with at anytime. This will avoid the custom report page from getting overwhelmingly long for everyone.

  9. Please make grant catalog request fields OPTIONAL. Foundant subscribers should be able to customize the fields they want populated.
    When creating a new grant catalog entry in CSuite, all fields in the request are required in order to submit. We have also tried using the Grant Catalog Fields within a GLM application in order to sync to a catalog in CSuite, and again ALL fields are required. The required fields add more information than we want to present to our donors. The current functionality creates a lot more work for our team to produce what our donors want to see.…

  10. In CSuite: Allow Foundation staff to HIDE organizations from donors in the portal. (Eg: The Ohio State University – Scholarships)
    * Allows Scholarship orgs to be ACTIVE, and allows them to be paid directly from CSuite without going into SLM
    * Reduces the possibility that a donor will send a check to the Bursar.
    *Offers Foundation's the option to manage unsuitable nonprofit organizations, while investigating concerns.
    *Marking the grantee INACTIVE is NOT manageable in our workflow.

  11. Stripes non-profit credit card fee is 2.2% +.30, it would be nice if we had the option to charge that exact fee amount in CSuite to prevent over charging our donors and causing confusion and extra activity on the fund statements. It should be a complete wash if the donor wants to cover the charge.

    The additional donation was built as a suggestion to cover not only the credit card processing fees, but the Foundation's fees as well. In general, a 3% fee works out to closely match the current stripe fees.

  12. The new functionality to get MFA by email has now ADDED more clicks for users who have been regularly using MFA apps/PIN. Now we have to select the PIN option before entering. Can we make PIN the default and if someone wants the code by email, they can click that option? Usability and the number of clicks a normal user has to make really needs to be taken into account when making updates to the system. New functionality should try to avoid add more work to the common user.

  13. We have a security issue that I hope can be addressed. We need to give someone the ability to inactivate a user without giving them extensive access throughout CSuite. This is necessary for immediate off-boarding. Right now, the only way to provide the ability to inactivate someone is to give them Edit permission on Users. Once you have that permission, you can add anyone to groups, sufficient enough to give almost anyone system-wide permissions. That’s sensitive and dangerous.   14. When I create print letters to notify folks that a tribute gift was made, I typically make edits to the letters before printing and sending. However, if someone has selected to notify the tribute via email, I am unable to edit the letter.

    Could there be a setting to toggle off this option on our website so that the public can only choose to notify people via snail mail?

    Or could the system allow me to edit my letter before it is emailed?

  18. When validating addresses in CSuite with the USPS validation, please spell out the entire city name as preferred by the post office (see screenshot below) instead of abbreviating city names that are 13 or more characters.

  20. We've had several fundholders reach out and ask to see a summary of their total grantmaking for the calendar year at the top of the portal screen. This would be a summary amount similar to current balance and amount available for grantmaking that would be easily viewable on the fund summary page.
