  1. Candid (GuideStar) asks non-profits to provide a list of grants data annually. They use a specific template (attached). It would be helpful to have a default report already created so that we can generate the information more easily and consistent with their template.

  2. In Salesforce on the home page there is an option to view recent items. It displays the most recent records that the user last looked at. In Csuite this could be anything with a unique id (note, task, profile, fund, vendor, donation, grant, etc.). Even displaying the most recent 5-10. Sometimes you step a way or click out or you need to remember what you last looked at and this can be a helpful tool. I've included a screenshot from Salesforce (with information redacted) and from where I suggest it displays on the home page.

  3. I like leveraging the custom fields to customize the platform to meet our needs. However, sometimes there are a lot of custom fields on the object. I try to group them by naming the field. Example: Presentations - Audience, Presentations - Description etc on opportunities to have a section of custom fields that are related to custom fields. Rather than having to have all of these longer names, it would be helpful if we could have custom field groups to begin to organize this information. Or to even designated tabs in the custom field section so we can flip through…

  4. Pool of Investments would be a nice field to have on the portal as it would show the current cash balance. Is there a way to pull asset balances (specifically investment pool figures) in as a new field on Fund Summary? Current Balance accounts for pledges receivable and grant payables - so for funds that have receivables or payables, Current Balance doesn't reflect what's actually in the fund (from a fundholder's perspective).

  7. Being able to automatically send the request account advisors for money to be moved in the balance swap process is great. It would be even better if we could add a second person to be receive the request. We have multiple financial advisors who want their admin person to receive these types of requests along with them.

  8. There are times throughout the year where it is necessary to put several recurring grants into the system to set everything up for the next year or based upon requests from a fund holder. In order to do this it has to be done one by one in the system. It would be helpful to have a way to get several recurring grants into the system via a front-end import.

  9. Is there a way for CSuite to send grant request notifications that come in exclusively from a philanthropic advisor's portfolio? We have staff members assigned as Stewards for both donors and funds. If a grant request comes in from of these donors or for one of these funds, it would be nice to be able to notify that particular staff member, without it being an "all or nothing" proposition. Certainly, we have some staff that needs to be notified of each incoming grant, as they will be processing each one. But for other staff, it would be quite helpful if…

  10. It would be helpful to have a total populate when reconciling Stripe donations in the Till, similar to the checks. When processing numerous Stripe donations on different days, it can be difficult to ensure that all boxes are checked.

  11. Create an "anonymous for publication" option on the donate page. This would allow the gift to be known within the organization, committees of volunteers, etc., so we could accurately thank and track the donor, but not include the donor contact info in publication. Looking at our annual report we want to make sure we aren't listing funds that don't want to be published. Right now we just put (Do Not List) on the fund name and hope that we all catch them.

  13. It may be helpful with muscle memory to place the new Login Info tab now located on the Native profile to the right of the Notes tab. This would allow the tabs to remain in the historical order. Allowing users muscle memory to remain intact.

  14. It would be useful to delete or add certain accounts when preparing a monthly income statment especially when preparing actual to budget. There are some items, mainly the investment income accounts that are not included in my original budget, therefore are not needed in the statement. Because of this, I have to export the report and delete the line items I do not need instead of running it straight from CSuite which would save a lot of time.

  15. We would like to be able to set the required information for someone to register for an event. Sometimes we have donor events where the individual/household should register, other times we have grantee events where we would like the organization to be required and the guests should be the individuals actually attending. We are running into the problem with the individual "tab" being first is that organizations are registering as individuals rather than the organizations and we are having to manually fix each ticket.   19. We are creating an affiliate program as a Foundation, and our Foundation has been in existence for over 30 years. Some of our affiliate partners already have funds set up with us because they are historical partners. We will provide a different level of access to donor information and donation amounts for our affiliates. We are running into setup roadblocks because several permissions are set as global or fund-level permissions that would be helpful to have on a more granular level—at the individual fund advisor and/or affiliate level.   20. Consider adding the Fund Steward as a field for grant letter templates, just like the fund statements. We use a custom field to present this information on our grant letters but having the Fund Steward available is ideal. It's available in other templates so hopefully this is easily implemented.
