  1. We would love to enable the option for fund advisors to run manual fund statements or view financials. However, if we enable this, they can run these on any time period, closed or open. Until we close a period, information in an open period should remain internal only and not be available to fund advisors as it is subject to change. We have donors who would get upset if they saw something change from one day to the next.

    Can the portal be configured to only allow financial reporting and manual fund statement generation for fund advisors within closed periods?…

  2. We love that fundholders can edit grants in the donor portal. However, I learned today that fundholders cannot edit a recurring grant if there is no max recurrence #.

    This means that we misspoke when we told our fundholders that they can edit all their recurring grants. Not great. Please fix this so they can make updates to all recurring grants in our system! (We have over 100!).

  3. Currently, the Fund Advisor Login Log only shows Fund Advisors who have logged into the Portal with Username and Password. Since most/all first-time portal users log in with email and PIN (and some may continue after that), we would like to be able to track all portal users that are logging in -- whether using username and password, and/or email and PIN. Currently, there's no visible record of portal users logging in by PIN. This results in things like receiving grant requests from Fund Advisors without a record of a fund advisor having logged in, and when portals are launched,…

  4. On the Custom Reports page, have option to sort by Date Last Run oldest - newest. This would help with cleaning up old reports if the report list is lengthy and if they haven't been run in a few years.

  5. Seems many of us are having problems with people leaving things in the cart, rather than actually submitting them.

    A very quick suggestion that may solve some of the problem: Instead of having the button on the Unsubmitted Grant Requests read "Review and Submit Grant Requests" why not rename the label to simply say "Review Grant Requests." Many of our donors have told us that they thought it was one action and that by clicking it, they had reviewed AND submitted it.

  7. Our Communications team would like to be able to add photos and fund descriptions but we are very hesitant to give them full fund edit permission. Can you provide a new "Fund Design" permission so that this can be accomplished?

  8. It looks like my idea was implemented back in 2022, but I don't see it available on the new version of the fund advisor portal. Our fundholders are used to seeing monthly investment activity published to their accounts, as well as fees charged on a quarterly basis. The Financials section allows for statements, but allowing users to generate statements is risky and not always accurate. Is there any way to publish investment activity and fees to the fund summary screen?

  9. Foundant recently removed the option to populate tax receipts with the sale amount of stock (soldamount). Our donors expect to see two numbers on their acknowledgements for public securities - the value of the gift (average of the high and low values on the date of receipt) and the amount that actually goes into their fund (sold amount). Having the soldamount field removed the manual work for our team in adding this value to our tax receipts and reduced the margin of error. Please bring it back!

  10. We would love to be able to filter the reports available in the new portal (without having to export it into Excel and then filter). This was a functionality available in the legacy portal that does not look to have transferred over

  11. When you search for an org on the portal in the GrantReq tab using the name of the org and the city and state, but type out the state name, it does not show any results. You have to format the text field as the two digit code (OH, VA, etc.) not the name (e.g. Ohio, Virginia, etc).

    Can this state field be changed to a table rather than text field? Or can it be inclusive of both state codes and states spelled out so it's user-friendly?

  12. Currently when filtering on a field to to exclude something, it is also removing all fields that are null as well. For example on a donation report, when I put the filter on the field Donation Type ID so it is NOT "In-Kind", one of our options, then it will remove all "In-Kind" donations from my report as well as all donations without a Donation Type ID, which is every Stripe donation.

  13. We would like to have the name of the stock autofill in the "Description" field. Not the # of shares and ticker symbol as they have their own separate fields. We have to manually type in the Name of the Stock as we use it to populate on our tax receipt letters.

  14. There are times throughout the year where it is necessary to put several recurring grants into the system to set everything up for the next year or based upon requests from a fund holder. In order to do this it has to be done one by one in the system. It would be helpful to have a way to get several recurring grants into the system via a front-end import.

  15. Improved Search Capabilities: There needs to be a way to search for profiles even if you don't have (or know how to spell) the whole name. If someone's name is "John Smithe" but you think it's "John Smith" and you type "Smith, John" in the search bar, the profile you're looking for will not populate. If the search function could pull names that start with the letters up to the comma, the searcher could find John Smithe, John Smitherman, and John Smith-Stone.

  17. When we off-board someone, we inactivate their account in CSuite. Depending on the situation, this may be done quickly. Whether it's quick or not, later on, we may need to re-assign their tasks to someone else. They also may have valuable custom reports that they neglected to share. Either one of these two require us to re-activate the user so that we can login as them to address the items. When we do that, we lose tracking on when we originally inactivated them.   18. "Grant Letter Template" name as grant report field:

    It would be very helpful to be able to add the grant letter template name as a field to CSuite grant reports.

    This field would allow us to do a quick check of all the recent grants to ensure the right template was applied before printing our grant letters.

  19. For new portal, please allow the ability to restrict what nonprofits/donors can edit in their public-facing profiles (nonprofits in particular) on a field-by-field basis. An example, we don't want nonprofits to change all fields, only, potentially, their mission statement, and further description. Thanks.

  20. When using the Profile Import and Profile Bulk Update features, it would be great if CSuite auto-formatted phone numbers and dates during the import process. Rather than having to format these phone numbers and dates up-front in Excel, it would be great if CSuite automatically formatted these values during the import process. Getting the choice of how they format (phone numbers with or without dashes, dates with slashes or dashes, etc.) would also be helpful and could be a setting under profile settings.
