spending policy
When calculating the annual distributions for a fund, the system allows you to edit the amounts Csuite is calculating before review and posting. We often adjust the amounts for scholarship funds, new funds, etc. It would be helpful if the system would allow you to see an adjusted total before selecting review or an edit selection after review is selected. Lack of this ability causes much rework as errors happen and the entire process has to be redone.

show paper clip attachment symbol on voucher and/or grant listing
Is there ANY way to show the paper clip symbol for an attachment on the listing of a voucher?? So, when you have a list of vouchers or grants, there would be a symbol showing you have an attachment scanned for that voucher and/or grant. We scan our payables into the voucher and grant so if our Auditor picks that item in the audit, we don't have to physically pull it, it is in CS. I would like to go back and check to be sure I scanned the payable portion to the voucher and/or grant but have to go…

Short Description separation from Long Description
The short description and long description of a grant request on the catalog is not differentiated in any way. This looks a bit messy to the donor who may only want to glance at the short descriptions as opposed to reading the entire long description for each grant request. It would be very beneficial if there was a separation between the short description and the long description such as a line, a larger space, or even just bolding the short description and not bolding the long one.

Improve donor rollup reports
Donor rollup reports don't rollup First Date nor Last Date for donations made by an Individual member of a Household, or when a donation was Advised. This is confusing and deceiving, since Rollup Reports are supposed to help reflect all giving from or associated with a Household. There have been several other IdeaLab submissions related to this issue but dismissed due to level of engagement - maybe those Ideas should be "rolledup" to accurately indicate interest in this being fixed by Foundant.

Totals on Fund History
Can we please have totals when we are looking at grant and donation history detail within Fund History, especially once a filter is applied. It would be so helpful and avoid the extra steps of exporting to Excel each time!

Legal Terms for Grant Requests Submitted through the Giving Hub
Currently, the Giving Hub setting that requires donors to review and agree to legal terms (one of CSuite’s latest releases) applies only to donations.
As a donor-directed Foundation, we require donors, each time they make a grant request, to approve and attest to the IRS written acknowledgment confirming that no services or benefits are received in exchange for a distribution.
Having this Giving Hub setting extend to grant requests submitted through the portal would allow for this process to be streamlined.

Don't Require a Primary Fund Advisor
We have many funds with both spouses as Fund Advisors, neither should be "primary" but C Suite forces one to be primary and it can't be unchecked. Please allow the option not to have a primary Fund Advisor. We don't want either to be primary but C Suite doesn't give us the option to remove the primary tag.
Please see this previous Idea Lab post with many votes that requested the same thing but Foundant's response was that the primary tag could just be moved to another Fund Advisor. Display a “Fund Donation Total” on the Advisor Portal showing the all-time total donations made to a fund. This can be placed on the Donations tab or another location on the portal where it is best suited.

dashboard
The dashboards for grants and donations are excellent It would be amazing to have something similar for reporting on our organization's finances and investment performance. Graphic presentation of info is important to our finance committee, and it seems a shame to have to create everything manually from exported reports now that CSuite has dashboard capabilities.
Create a dashboard for financial performance. (budget YTD and full year, year over year, trends, etc.) Allow user to select and save filters (accounts, fund groups, etc.)

Enable entry of Grant Type on Refund Grants to ensure accurate grant reporting. This will allow grants to be correctly grouped by Grant Type in reporting. Currently, capturing this information requires manual adjustments in Excel after exporting the report.

Expand Notification - Tasks and Notes
Currently the only notification related to tasks and notes is the notification that is sent to a user when they are assigned to a task that they do not own. If I add myself to a task I am creating, I would not receive an email.
It would be nice if the creator and anyone that the task is share with could receive a notification when any notes are added by the user that the task is assigned to.

Add file Share Options
Currently, when a file is shared, it's only shared to the Fund Advisor Portal. We would like to see some file sharing options where we can choose where we would like to share the file to, and allowing to share to multiple areas. For example:
1. Share to Advisor Portal
2. Share to Grantee Portal
3. Share to Donor Portal
4. Share to Fund Profile
5. Share to ProfileWe have started to send Welcome Letters from Opportunities. When we share the auto attached welcome letter, we would typically share this on the Advisor Portal and the Fund profile.

Show closed funds, with an indicator, on the Fund Advisor Portal so fund holders can continue to see the funds history. We have had this request from a few of our fund holders.

tasks
It would be great if tasks could be viewed directly from the profile. Right now you have to click through a lot of places to see tasks. It would be great to have tasks that are not related to an opportunity which is currently not possible. We end up using notes a lot because it is so much more visible from the profile.

I think it would be very beneficial if we could send a bulk email to grantees, and have the email save in Notes in each profile.

Hold tribute emails for review
Recently a donor opened a new fund in honor of someone's 90th birthday. They asked that we hold notifying the honoree until after their birthday so it would be a surprise about the new fund.
Unfortunately there wasn't a way to stop a donor from automatically sending the email. I would like an option to edit/approve these email messages rather than them automatically sending.
