  1. Would really like to be able to process payroll through CommunitySuite, either by adding a payroll module to the system or by integrating CommunitySuite with a payroll solution so that would automatically push over the JEs they need to account for payroll each pay period.

  3. Currently we use DocuSign to open a DAF and email. Most financial institutions that have a DAF product can be opened online.
    Can a process similar to GLM/SLM be used to open a DAF especially since DocuSign is being integrated. This would be helpful for opening all types of new funds.

  4. Currently you can only send an electronic payment notification to one email that is identified in the profile. We have had requests from vendors/grantees that the notification be sent to two or more emails.

  5. After a person clicks Add to Cart for an event registration (from an affiliate/SO branded portal), the portal defaults to the main portal and leaves the affiliate/supporting org branded portal. Further, if the registrant needs to add additional "event tickets" they must navigate through the general event tickets page and find the event they are looking for.

    Please keep the registrant on the affiliate/SO branded portal and allow them to go back to that specific event registration to add more to their cart. The current navigation is not donor/registrant friendly.

In other DBs I’ve used there is a way to export a complete donor/prospect profile report that lists all information in the person’s record (contact info, prospect ratings, relationships, giving, granting (is applicable), notes, etc. in an exportable report – preferably into Word or a PDF. This is very useful for us to use as a working doc in a prospect meeting. (Perhaps I’m just to old school, but paper one can make notes on is still very helpful.)

    Another VERY helpful element would be the ability for Foundant to pull in fields from one of the major prospect research…

  7. Provide option to move a note that is in a profile to an opportunity that is also in the profile. Currently we have to manually move notes if a note is mistakenly added to the profile rather than the opportunity.

  9. The new updates for opportunities is great. It would be great to have the ability to add funds like you can add profiles. We have donors that have multiple funds under one agreement. But we don't have way to link the funds other than the relationship tab under fund owner.

  10. When a grant request is submitted through the portal and requested to be anonymous, the record that it was requested to be anonymous should carry through all stages of the grant. Currently, the grant requests in the portal tab show whether the grant is anonymous, but once the grant is created, the Online Grant Request details do not show whether or not the grant was anonymous. It would be helpful to have this here for easy reference, especially for funds that do not always send grants anonymously.

  11. I posted on this topic back in October and recently the Foundant folks said it was implemented in the new version of the portal. But the way it was implemented doesn't really fit with what our fund advisors are looking for, so I'm giving it another shot! We've tested the "Show Donor Portal Investments" option in our sandbox and it does not provide the activity we want to share, or that our fundholders are interested in. They're looking for net investment activity for the most recent month available.

  12. In the content settings for fund advisor emails, the only field we've ever had to use for an employee name is {{employee_name}}. That formats the name as last name, first name. We'd like it to show as first name last name, like John Doe instead of Doe, John. The only way we've been able to accomplish that is by changing employees in the system to a first name of John Doe with no last name. That works, but it's cumbersome to have some of our employees listed this way.

  13. Very frequently, when updating a report filter, this error comes up on a new page "Invalid reporting action ',editfilter'" - you have to go back to the report and select the filter again.

    Please fix this issue and allow us to only select the field to update once when editing a report.

  14. Financial Statement export option to PDF. It would be nice to be able to export all financial statements in the same manner that you can create/export a fund statement. Being able to add the foundations logo and have it look "pretty". If a fund statement can be created in this manner, so can financials, since it's pulling from GL accounts the same as the fund statement. We should be able to create our own Financial Statement Templates.

  15. We used to use the Funds search bar to only search open funds. When we wanted to search all funds, including closed funds, we used the main search bar in the top left of the main screen.

    Having open and closed funds in the main Funds search bar takes so much more time and is a hassle to have to sift through more similar fund names. We were required to set up test funds when we started with Foundant that we were not allowed to delete out. Now these test funds continue to show up on the Funds bar when…

  16. It looks like our fundholders don't have a way of seeing "inactive/active" data about donors in their portal, which can cause problems when they download the list to send cultivation and stewarding letters.

    It would be great if this could be added as a column to the donor reports they can pull in the portal.

    As a result of lacking features like this, many of our fundholders have to use a separate donor CRM to support their cultivation and stewardship efforts, which is silly!

  17. Change/Edit Date Range for Dashboard display should be sticky. Currently, the Start and End Date for Dashboard can be edited to display a different range than the default, pre-populated range. However, navigating away from the Dashboard reverts the date range back to default values. It would be amazing if the Start and End Dates were sticky, so I don't have to edit/re-select dates every time I go to the Dashboard.

  18. This idea has been proposed before but archived for lack of engagement. However, I think it's worth posting again as it would be extremely beneficial to be able to export report to formats other than a plain CSV. For example, if we could export as an excel, it could preserve the hyperlinks in a report.
