  1. It would be nice to have a more robust grant import tool. Something that would include the fund ID (so you don't have to complete separate imports per fund), description, grant type, ... basically everything that could be entered in the grant screen. The current import basically allows you to get items in the system, but then creates a second step to finish up the grant. It's not really saving much time.

  2. Let's end the institutional discrimination against grant buckets like New, Approval, Unfunded, Import, Catalog, GLM, Request. What did they do to deserve being excluded from the Filter > Status field option? That field is currently reserved ONLY for upper-crust elite members like buckets Voucher, Paid, Complete.

    This inequitable othering will not stand. Why limit the filtering capacity for more than half the grants pipeline?

When completing a fund summary report for a specific calendar year, CSuite generates the exact report I need with graphs and great overall information including fund group balances, donations and grants. However, I need to filter this report one step further for particular divisions. I am unable to add filters or edit the report in anyway. I'd appreciate this feature be added to these fund summary reports to alleviate creating multiple and tedious sperate reports.

  4. UPDATE- I've found a way but it's a quite a few extra steps. Involves going to the GL transaction level detail.

    I've been looking at using campaigns as a way to track multiple grant projects in the same fund. I'm successful in associating a grant received via donations and attaching vendor payments. It has the option for a very tidy income statement, which I love. The only thing needed to complete the picture is grants made by the program. At present you cannot assign a campaign to the grant or the voucher associated. This fix would basically make it as…

  5. Currently, if you click "Delete" on a recurring grant, there is no page to say "Are you sure you want to delete this item?". Once deleted, there is no way to find the recurring grant record to add a note.

    We have an internal policy to NOT delete recurring grant records for this reason, and instead max out the occurrence so the record moves to closed/inactive, but we maintain the records.

    I have accidentally hit "Delete" when I am intended to click "Edit", luckily only for recurring grant records where I am trying to close out the request, but one…

  6. IRA Gift Tax Receipt Letters - Salutation & Envelopes

    When processing IRAs or charitable bank gifts, while we can now get the address on the tax receipt letter to populate as the Donor Advisor instead of the "donor"/Bank - I am still having issues with the salutation being the Banks/"donors" name and not the Donor Advisor, even when I populate this field to "John Smith".
    Then, when I print envelopes, no matter what I do, the envelope will print with only the Bank/"donors" address. I have to go in separately and print an envelope from each personal profile since I…

  7. We would love to see an option to add a thank you call/letter task to every donation made in CSuite. Allow this to be toggled on or off for every donation received or set to donation ranges ie: 20-500, 501-1000, etc... We can set a task now to go in and check for donations made, but if there has been none it becaomes a task that we can ingor rather than a triggered task. It woud be great to be able to set alerts or task to be assigned to any staff member to call or send a thnak you…

Not all Opportunities relate directly to a fund or have giving as their aim - especially if an organization is using Opportunities as their functional CRM where the emphasis is on tracking and capturing relationships. However, for reporting from Opportunities, there is no ability to segment reporting if the Profile linked to the Opportunity does not also have a fund relationship - for example, if I am working with a donor who has a fund, the Tasks or Notes report will allow me to include a column for Division, but that reflects the Division of the fund.   9. Please change back the donation page. Why would you put the Reference, Task, Files, Notes in the middle and have additional information below that when that is more important. Is there ever communication with your customers to see if this is what they like or want?

It would be great if you could create a task for grant reports that are due and link them to the grant report due, assigned to the individual responsible for collecting and reviewing the reports. That way there would be an easy spot to see any overdue reports and follow up with grantees without having to track in an external location.

  11. It would be great when on a profile page you can print and/or export all data related to a specific profile to get a complete snapshot of their association with the Foundation instead of having to try to create custom reports for this.

  12. Currently, pledges can be linked to campaigns, but the linking does not carry through to the general ledger posting resulting in campaign revenues being understated on the campaign income statement.
    Add the event id to the pledge journal entry to complete the “link” to the campaign.

  13. When you create a new opportunity type, I think it'd be super helpful to be able to create a monetary goal, and then as you complete opportunities within that type you could easily see how much left you have to go. This could show up in the form of a fundraising meter or something like that.

  14. On the Donor - Fund History - page, how do I show the actual amounts of the grantees on the pie chart? Currently the amounts are only visible if the mouse is hovered over a piece of the pie chart. Is there a way to make this completely visible in the settings so we can use this in meetings with Fundholders?

  15. Hello,

    I've noticed when I create a campaign and go to export my invitee list, there is no option to pull their work title. This includes profiles that have work addresses as their prime. When you're mailing an invitee, their work title should be included as an option to have a complete mailing label. Thank you!

  16. In the Fund Advisor Portal, there should be a way to remove the column titled "Contributor" from the "Contributions" tab? We want to show our donors the dates and amounts of contributions to the fund, but we do not want to show donor names nor do we want the word "anonymous" to appear on each row. We would love to have the ability to hide or remove that column completely.

    Due to the release of the Portal in the sandbox (August in Live sites), requests related to the legacy fund advisor system are being moved to not planned. Foundant plans to sunset the legacy fund advisor portal on 4/1/2025.

  17. It would be nice if we could review the online statements prior to posting them to the donor portal as one batch instead of having to click on each one individually - similar to the paper copy option. In addition, still keep this PDF as a static PDF after they have been marked complete.

    We check specific funds for errors before we upload them but if there was a PDF file we could check random funds as well.

  18. With enhancements being added to CSuite for Invoices, having the ability to send a confirmation receipt once payment is received would be beneficial. Currently when we have organizations request an invoice prior to fulfilling their contribution, we have to complete this outside of the software and then enter as a donation in order to acknowledge their gift.

    But if we were able to send a receipt as we do donations this would allow for us to record the entire process in CSuite.

We often have times when a grantee will reach out to the CF asking for donor contact information (either mailing address, email, etc) so that the grantee can thank the advisor who recommended the grant. It has always been our policy that we do not share donor contact info. Is there a way to add a question to the Grant Recommendation Tab when an advisor is completing a grant request asking if we are allowed to share donor contact info with a grantee if ask?   20. It would be very useful to be able to pull a report of all grants that were assigned a grant letter template. For example, we occasionally receive requests from grant advisors asking for the grant to be mailed to a different address from the grantee's main payment address. We have a letter template that includes a receipt form that grantees are asked to complete and return to us. The Grant Letter Template filter would allow me to quickly look up any grant that we need to track for this receipt.
