QR Code generated for online tickets sold for fundraising events & check in capabilities
Our world has moved to paperless tickets, it would be awesome when people purchase an online ticket for a fundraising event, they can receive a receipt that has a QR code they can save on their phone and can be scanned at the door when they check-in. Like they have for concerts/ball games. It would be nice if there was a platform then to scan those tickets and the system can record that they are checked in on Csuite. Don't want to use another site/platform to do it.(Eventbrite). Would be nice to have them all in one place and since they bought the ticket on Csuite.

Deposit List - ability to sort by different column
When I deposit in the till - it would make it MUCH easier if the deposits could be alphabetized by the FUND NAME - because they all get deposited in the same account. When I have a large till, I have to carefully check that right boxes for different deposits.

Sync attachments in csuite and glm
It would be nice to have a feature to sync attachments in GLM &/or CSuite over to the other rather than having to attach in both places. Ideally, we would be able to pick which attachments we want to sync over. For Community Grants, we start our process in GLM so we start attachments here and then sync to CSuite for final processing. For Donor Advised/Designated Granting we start in CSuite and include attachments here then sync over to GLM for tracking purposes.

Custom Fields on Scholarship Record - NOT just on Scholarship Award
We need to report on scholarship info such as target high school, field of interest, selection committee, etc. so can share with counselors, etc. Could do that with custom fields. The only scholarship custom fields are currently tied to the award, not the scholarship itself. Can't use fund custom fields because some funds have multiple scholarships. Currently managing all this in Excel.

Grant request notification for staff - add more data to email
Currently when an advisor requests a grant we have four staff members who receive the notification email about the request. However, the email only includes the advisor name in the notification. Is it possible to have the notification include the grantee and amount that is being requested?

For bulk year-end print receipts, print them in order of the report, not random order
The bulk year-end print results process in a random order and there isn't a way to print envelopes in that same random order. Solution suggested by chat was to print envelopes in alpha order and then find them, since they'll at least be easier to find in alpha order, to compile the mailing. Please fix this!

Separate Unlink Fund Profile from Delete Profile Permission
In our organization, the group responsible for managing fund profile relationships is not the same as those who are responsible for deleting profiles. However, the Delete Profile permission is required in order to unlink a profile from a fund. We need these permissions separated.

online donation receipts
Alert: Online Donation Receipts Merge INCORRECT DONOR INFO
If a donor with an existing CSuite profile enters new contact information while making an online gift, CSuite will port that information into their profile before emailing a tax receipt. However, the tax receipt is merged using the primary contact information, NOT the new info the donor has just shared. This is true for both the mailing address and the email address.
Example: Joe and Jane have an existing household profile; Joe’s email is marked as primary. For Joe’s birthday, Jane makes an online gift to a fund they love. She enters her own email address and her work address in the online form – she doesn’t want to spoil the surprise! CSuite matches Jane’s personal email to her household, then emails the tax receipt to the primary. Within a few minutes, Joe forwards to Jane the tax receipt email HE received, asking if she knows anything about it. Jane is outraged – she provided the info she wanted the foundation to use. Her thoughtful surprise was foiled by the community foundation she trusted.
Information shared by the donor at the time of the gift must be used for the merge and the emailed delivery of the acknowledgement letter; this is a basic, fundamental stewardship practice. Foundant must consider this fix an urgent matter, as it may damage relationships with donors.

Keep Attached Files When Tributes Merge
When merging tributes I'd like the ability to automatically move the attached files from the deleted tribute to the remaining tribute. Similar to the feature that was recently added when merging profiles.

check void date
CSuite does not allow users to enter the void date on a check, it defaults to the day that it was done. It would be so helpful if we could enter the date that we want it to be voided.

990 Report - Option to filter to DAF
We need the option to filter to show only DAF gifts and grants. The current report shows all donations. We are also required in Schedule D to show only DAF donations and grants. This cannot be accomplished with the 990 Report.

Credit card fees and tax recpts
Can we please have one donation listed for credit card gifts that cover the fee? I know that both get covered in the template amount, but it's weird to have them listed as separate gifts that we then have to click the red sent button for...

Profile Types & Permissions
We allow many people to get into Profile Types. That’s an easy way to view and export profiles based on the assigned type. Once we give someone the Profile Type permission, they can get in there. So far so good. Then there’s permissions for Archive Profile Type and Delete Profile Type. However, those permissions are surprisingly narrowly defined to just the Profile Types. Nothing applies to Profile Fund Categories, Address Types, Email Types and Genders. So anyone who has the Profile Type permission can fully delete any of those, which is not good. And anyone can create any type and anyone can edit and rename any type, including the base Profile Types.
The Archive Profile Type and Delete Profile Type permissions should apply to all of the listed types. And there really should be an Edit Profile Types and Create Profile Types permission as well. That would close the exposure. But for now we’d be happy if the main Delete and Archive permissions applied to all the types.

Multi-Fund Journal Entries and attachments
Journal Entry with multiple funds should all have the same JE ID number when posting a single transaction involving multiple funds and the file attachment should be available prior to posting. As you enter the Journal Entry you are unable to attach a file until after the entry is posted then you have to manually attach the file to each entry. Example, I just entered a Journal Entry related to a single transaction that involved multiple funds. The documentation is the same for all funds but I could not attach it until the JE was posted then Foundant divided the transaction into 10 different JE ID numbers. I had to manually attach the file to each JE ID number. This entry should have been a single JE ID number but does not work that way in Foundant. When looking at history you are unable to pull this transaction up as a single post. This is difficult for the Auditors to trace a single transaction with multiple funds through the system.

profile search
I would like to hit enter from the profile search bar and get a page showing all the ones that come up, not just a drop down. I am very visual and would like to see blocks on a page and then be able to tag merges from there (among other things). Otherwise your clicking, hunting and packing to accomplish what you want to...

Master Fund- Attachments & linking notes
Master funds are a subfund of multiple funds (for us 2 a designated and agency portion). It would be very beneficial if any of the attachments or notes that get put on the designated or agency portion get attached to the masterfund automatically OR vice versa where if we attach something on the master fund it goes to the subfunds. If we could have the ability to link a fund like you can for notes but be able to link 1 or multiple funds to one attachment that would be perfect.
Which also- having the ability to link notes to more than one fund would be beneficial as well and also another idea. There are sometimes we have someone come in over the 3 funds they have and they are all related and the same note needs to be attached to 3 funds not just one like it is currently and only able to link one more fund. Thanks!!

Change Fund Group at a Point in Time
For audit purposes, it would be helpful to be able to change a fund group type at a point in time instead of changing all of history. We have memorial funds that come in as "Unrestricted" but turn into restricted scholarship funds (or others). When we change the fund group it changes the data for all of time which makes our ending balances for PY not match beginning balances in terms of audit categories.
Right now we are closing the memorial funds completely and opening a new scholarship fund but this has us lose the donor/donation history for the fund.

Report on 1st time donors to a fund, including fund advisors
As a community foundation, we would like to know who are the first time donors to our operating fund on an annual basis. While we can run a donor report with information on individual donors (like first date and last date of donations), we receive a lot of donations from institutional funds (Fidelity, Schwab, etc) and it isn't possible to bring fund advisor information into that report.

Add Profile Fund Category to Fund Advisor Fund Custom Report
Can you add the Profile Fund Categories to the Fund Advisor Fund Custom Report? We establish tab settings based on the profile fund category.
We have been unable to find any other report that combines the tabs with the profile fund categories, fund advisors and fund information.
