  1. Stealing this from an archived submission: "We should be able to provide a link to give directly to a fund, even if it is marked private. This would allow people who have the direct link to give to the fund, but it wouldn't show up in the list of funds or be searchable. Sometimes people don't want it public, but have a few family/friends they would like to be able to support a fund. It would be particularly helpful in memorial situations."

  2. Homer CF would like the option to create a grant without assigning a specific fund so an award letter can be issued to the grantee.

    Next steps would be to add the fund, post grant, move forward in buckets accordingly.

  5. We'd like the ability to limit profile access based on profile designations. For example, if a profile has the Vendor designation activated, only certain staff should be able to edit the profile. Right now there is only 1 set of profile permissions that isn't dependent on the designations.

  6. Once a donor has given through the Giving Hub page, there is a default Thank You that appears (1A in image attached)- we would like to be able to edit & format, and/or hide this.

    On this same page display, the Continue Giving button (1B in attached image) is plopped right down onto the edge of the footer, and it looks terrible. Would also like the ability to add a margin to this or otherwise move/change this button!

It could be confusing to see the full opportunity amount on a connected profile or professional advisor's relationship tab once they are connected with the new opportunity features releasing soon. Could there be some sort of designation added to those profiles so it's clear what role they have? I.e. red text saying "professional advisor" or something similar.

  9. It would be nice to be able to mark when a mailing has been returned to sender in a marketing campaign. Keeping track of returned or undelivered mail is important to know who actually received the mailing and who did not. We currently have to list all mailings as events, so we can mark 'RSVP: no' for returned mail. This is not ideal in properly organizing our communications. The undelivered option would also be nice to apply to email addresses that reject a digital mailing, as this does happen at times as well when someone's inbox is full, etc.

  10. At our foundation we routinely have fund advisors making multi-year & multi-payment grants. How these grants are presented in the portal is slightly misleading, as it shows the full grant commitment. When fund advisors look, it requires digging into the details to see the payment schedule. This is also true for the grantee presentation in the portal. If the non-profit doesn’t look close enough, it could appear that the full commitment was paid out instead of just the 1st payment. It would help to lessen confusion for the fund holders & grantees if these grants could have the current payment…

  12. We share the cost of SLM across Scholarship fund group and the cost of GLM across Unrestricted and Field of Interest fund groups. Currently, there's no way to RevShare an expense across FUND GROUPS nor is there a way to import long list for INTERNAL GRANTs. We have to hand enter each fund's share of the cost for ~200 funds. If one of these options was available, we'd save hours of our precious time.

    So I request:

    1) the option to RevShare across FUND GROUP

    and

    2) the ability to import for INTERNAL GRANTs

  13. While we appreciate your software and all the grand things it can do, we have found it difficult to keep up with the rate at which you make changes. We are a small office of three people. We struggle keeping up with our day-to-day tasks, let alone keeping up with software updates. We are so far behind on your software updates--we just can't keep up. Can you consider doing these on a broader calendar scale? Or maybe implement them based on changes more for 'big offices' vs. 'little shops' ?

  14. For the new Fundraising type campaign, you can assign a tax receipt template to the campaign. However, there is no logic to pull this letter into a manually entered donation. I have been going into each manually entered gift and editing the tax receipt template to match what is already tied to the campaign. We need logic built so tax templates for specific campaigns will automatically be applied to manually entered gifts.

  15. We are thrilled to have the ability for our fund advisors to search Candid. However, there are still too many clicks in the process and it is buried. Our donors don't want to think about whether a grantee is already in the One Valley database or not. Please make Candid the default search for "search for a new grantee". Or let us choose that as a setting. If the fund advisors add an org that is already in our database, it is easy to manage through the CSuite grant request bucket. This would simplify things for our advisors.

  16. Currently there are very few options for tracking fund advisor activity via the log. The provided columns, after filtering for fund advisor in the profile "Login Log" on sidebar, indicate very generic info such as Timestamp, IP address, 2-factor authentication, logout or locked out notification, error message (such as invalid password), if a team member signed in as a proxy to view a fund(s) in the portal, and location.

    From a marketing perspective, we would be interested in knowing not only who and when, but other potential "clicks" or "views" such as for resources/documents (ie: fund statements or other shared…

  17. In the Portal for a Fund Advisor, on the donations tab of a fund, I see the description; however, I have to click into the Donation ID or Export to see if there's any tribute information. It would be great if there was a way to show the tribute information on the initial donation listing page and not have to click into the ID or export. Thanks for considering!

  18. Prim Date on addresses needs to be a searchable/filterable field by date in Custom Reports.

    For large mailings that may be going out in the future, Foundations using professional external print vendors for large mailings will often need to provide an accurate data list of addresses well in advance. If the future mailing date would affect the addresses pulled (e.g. knowing that the future mailing date will have toggled many Prim Dates to a different address than is currently Primary), there is no way to actually search or filter or BULK report for Prim Dates.

  19. Can you please separate the "Link Profiles" permission from the "Create" permission under Profile Permissions? We don't want some staff to be able to create new profiles, but we want them to be able to link existing profiles to each other under relationships. Thanks so much.
