  1. In CSuite, there is an issue where if you assign a Task to yourself as the assignee, the Outlook calendar event does not show up in your calendar even if you check off the box to send it. It would be so helpful to have that option to automatically receive the Outlook calendar event when a task is assigned to yourself.

  2. Need the system to take the FMV and calculate the new year's payment on CRTs based on a specified % of FMV. His example was 8% payout annually of FMV. But that FMV updates every year, so payment amounts need to change; the % remains static.

  3. Need the ability to update split interest values at the end of the year. Would currently have to write adjusting entries for their over 600 CGAs and CRTs, which is not a feasible solution.

  4. "Grant Letter Template" name as grant report field:

    It would be very helpful to be able to add the grant letter template name as a field to CSuite grant reports.

    This field would allow us to do a quick check of all the recent grants to ensure the right template was applied before printing our grant letters.

  5. When using the Profile Import and Profile Bulk Update features, it would be great if CSuite auto-formatted phone numbers and dates during the import process. Rather than having to format these phone numbers and dates up-front in Excel, it would be great if CSuite automatically formatted these values during the import process. Getting the choice of how they format (phone numbers with or without dashes, dates with slashes or dashes, etc.) would also be helpful and could be a setting under profile settings.

  6. We would like for the option to pick a Fiscal Sponsor on the Grantee Designation of a grantee's profile so that it automatically populates on a grant record when it is created for that grantee. Similar to how the Grant Type field on the Grantee Designation automatically populates on a grant record, this would save us time and clicks.

  7. A common issue when reporting is building multiple different types of custom reports to pull all necessary data. This splits the information across multiple reports and requires Excel knowledge to combine them together. Instead, it would be much better if there was a single report that had all of the most commonly used/reported fields.

    Most of the custom reports in CSuite contain many extraneous fields that are never even reported on. Given that trying to load every single one of the fields on a page would be difficult, let's ignore the unused and un-reported fields and include only the most…

  8. It is so confusing with the grant notify checkboxes at the Fund Advisor level and the Advisor Request Notify checkbox at the Portal level. All of these should be at the Fund Advisor (or Profile) level, with the ability to bulk edit. Non of these emails should be set as an All or Nothing option, because it is often specific to the individual, but we do need the ability to manage in bulk, if needed. Administration of emails is really important and the user experience of doing so for these is pretty awful.

Stripes non-profit credit card fee is 2.2% +.30, it would be nice if we had the option to charge that exact fee amount in CSuite to prevent over charging our donors and causing confusion and extra activity on the fund statements. It should be a complete wash if the donor wants to cover the charge.

    The additional donation was built as a suggestion to cover not only the credit card processing fees, but the Foundation's fees as well. In general, a 3% fee works out to closely match the current stripe fees.

  10. It would be very helpful to have donor names tied to all stripe activity in fund statements- specifically fees (admin and stripe). We can sometimes have up to 4 or 5 line items under a donation and the only line that has the donor name is the actual donation line. If we get multiple stripe donations in the same day, the fees aren't always in order so it makes it difficult to see what fee is associated with a specific donor.

    I've attached an example of a section of a fund statement in the activity detail.

  11. When we generate fund statements for mailing, we also export a CSV of the fund advisors who should be receiving the statements to merge into an envelope. When the CSV is generated, contact information is not exported for organizations, only individuals. This is critical as fund statements should go to certain people within the organizations and sometimes even multiple people within the organization. Please fix the CSV export!

  12. When Bulk Updating profiles, there are four different files to bulk update the profiles with. When editing profiles, we usually need to update all four areas of the profile and this requires us to download and manipulate all four.

    Instead, it would be better if they were consolidated into a single file/sheet so we could update all of those fields in one go. This would make this process much less tedious and allow us to make one bulk edit, instead of four individual bulk edits.

  13. When a user is on a Fund and selects History, it will list Total Grants with a dollar amount. We discovered that this total will include unposted grants and clicking the link for the backup list of grants does not include unposted grants. This is confusing and needs to be fixed.

    We'd rather Total Grants under Fund History did not include unposted grants in the total. Or if unposted grants are part of the total, at least include them in the linked report.

  14. My idea is for the donor portal. When a donor advisor submits a grant, it would be super helpful for the "short name" of the fund to populate on the Grant Request page that we use to process the grant. The fund name populates but we use the short name when processing through payables to pay the grant. We have several donors who have more than one fund and this would take human error out of the process.

  15. We hold a paid program for executive directors for other local nonprofits every other year. We use C-Suite's Invoices to invoice the nonprofits. For those nonprofits that pay by credit card, the transaction ends up in Donations. It would be great to link their "donation" to their open invoice.

    In the new portal, a profile will be able to pay an invoice by credit card with the customer tab enabled. This could eliminate this problem. To apply a credit card payment to an invoice, it must be a profile payment, not a donation.

  16. Grant Catalogs have request submission pages. The boxes for short and long descriptions need character limits. At this time, there is a stated character limit of 250 characters on the short description, and none on the long. We use 60 for the short, and 255 characters for the long, and have to edit down every request to fit these numbers. Either let us set the limits, or please set the limits for us.

  17. Please add the option to send out emails automatically based on when an Opportunity's stage is changed/reached.

    We would like for CSuite to send out emails automatically, with both an external and internal option, when a particular stage or stages are reached in an Opportunity. This would cut back on much of the tedious work associated with changing stages and needing to send emails manually outside of the system.

    This would help a lot with new donors as they receive a lot of communication, as well as with mid-year checkups.

  18. Revise the login page so I don't have to scroll down to enter my username and password, and the same with the next page when I need to scroll down to enter my choice for authentication, and the next page when I have to enter the code. Attached are screen shots showing the inconvenience.

  19. It would be helpful to have a total populate when reconciling Stripe donations in the Till, similar to the checks. When processing numerous Stripe donations on different days, it can be difficult to ensure that all boxes are checked.
