  1. We are encountering a problem when an individual registers for an event as an organization. This results in duplicate profiles of the organization, and we are unable to merge or delete the profiles because a ticket is associated with it. Additionally, we have difficulty knowing which individual from the organization is attending the event because the person registering does not usually go back to edit the guest information with their name.     You should be able to change the new organization profile to an individual, then merge it. Extra steps - I know, but that would be a current solution to the duplicates.

  2. Would really like the ability to create customized communications that would appear as a pop-up in the portal when a fund-holder logs in to share things they are working on, foundation news, funding opportunities, etc. with fund advisors.

  3. If you don't work with grants to know there are some in the system to be paid and you look at a fund that has pending grants, it can look like something is wrong on the fund. The fund balance has been reduced by the pending grants but the assets have not been reduced. This makes sense but for development people who aren't aware of grants, it can get confusing. Could there be some sort of flag on the balance that grants are pending or something?

  4. The default scholarship payment report includes voided checks so payments are listed twice with no notation that the payment check has been voided. When creating custom reports, there is no filter to exclude voided payments. I was advised by foundant support to export two different reports to excel and use a merge query to combine reports. Maybe that sounds easy and doable but not to me. It would be helpful if a we could run a report that shows actual payments.

  5. When setting up loan accounts in the Accounts Default section, you must assign only one account for Loans Payable, Loans Receivable and Loan Interest. We have 3 separate loans that are sub-accounts of these accounts. So each time I set up a loan, create a voucher for the loan payment, invoice interest payments, or invoice for a principal repayment, I need to reset the defaults so that they map to the correct sub account.   6. It would be amazing to have the ability to set up department codes as an optional field that can be selected on each line item when entering a voucher, and thus show up when looking at the GL detail for each expense item.

    We have started doing our budget to actual reporting internally by department and some accounts are used by multiple departments. This would be a huge help!

  7. We have an annual Gala fundraiser event set up as a campaign in C-Suite. The Gala has some tickets for sponsorships, some are tables, some are tickets and some are donation items or underwriting options.

    For only one of those conditions is the best term "Ticket(s)" in the user's Cart Summary page.

    I'd like to be able to provide a noun for use in the cart (in the edit-ticket form), so that respectively above someone could have one sponsorship, two tables, four tickets and one underwritten expense shown in their Cart Summary page as they check out.

  8. It may be helpful with muscle memory to place the new Login Info tab now located on the Native profile to the right of the Notes tab. This would allow the tabs to remain in the historical order. Allowing users muscle memory to remain intact.

  9. Voucher Reference Numbers - please either allow duplicate reference numbers in a voucher and/or pop up a warning when entering the voucher that it is a duplicate and then allow a bypass. When we pay certain bills (phone bill, insurance, etc.), we put our account number in the reference number spot which is appropriate in those cases and doesn't change from year to year. Not every payable has a different invoice number each time.

  10. The new functionality to get MFA by email has now ADDED more clicks for users who have been regularly using MFA apps/PIN. Now we have to select the PIN option before entering. Can we make PIN the default and if someone wants the code by email, they can click that option? Usability and the number of clicks a normal user has to make really needs to be taken into account when making updates to the system. New functionality should try to avoid add more work to the common user.

  11. I want to select accounts to be excluded from balance swaps. I want everything in my grants payable, scholarships payable and spendable accounts to be in my checking account. The system only keeps amounts that are going out in the short term in checking. Giving the option to exclude those specific accounts would be very helpful.

  12. Please make it possible to archive old and unused admin fee types. This has been proposed many times and it keeps getting closed because it's already been implemented, which is incorrect.

    The only way to get rid of an admin fee type is if it's never been applied to a fund or used. This is the error message you get when you try to delete one: This fee type was used in 2 admin fee calculations and cannot be deleted.

  14. A new release has changed my scholarship list to include closed funds and designated scheduled funds. It would make my workflow easier if it could go back to just the list of scholarships that I use instead of having to add filters.

We will often build campaigns by adding/removing profiles based on the same parameters used in an earlier campaign, though the profiles themselves differ based on data updates: e.g. invitations to our annual reception, generating the e-newsletter mailing list. There are usually several steps required to correctly add profiles to these campaigns; we have been writing them down and recording them as notes attached to the campaigns (e.g. "filter profiles by profile type id=xyz and add as household; then filter donations by last donation date<xyz and remove from campaign," etc.) It would be wonderful if CSuite could record these steps for…

  16. The new "Portal Options -> Settings" areas in the sandbox (and rolling out to live site tomorrow) are great -- lots of customization! I would love to have the ability to edit the "Recognition Name" field name and description from the Checkout area of the donation portal/giving hub. Our donors don't interpret that field in quite the same way our staff do, and we would like to customize how it appears as we can with the Cover CC, Anonymous, and Newsletter fields.

  17. Please add an edit option to the distribution calculation after you click review and before posting. More than 100 of our scholarships have a defined payout. I change each amount to the defined payout which is shown in the distribution type. (We have 25 different distribution types with a define payout). Sometimes I hit the enter button and it goes to the next page before I finish. Would like to be able to go back in and edit the remaining without creating a new distribution calculation.   18. We would love the ability to enable/disable donor information (name, address, email) for each fund portal/fund advisor on a case-by-case basis (verse turning it on/off by type). While in most cases it is not necessary, we have support several unique fundraising efforts throughout the community where this would be a valuable addition to the donor services we are able to provide for our admin. fee. Ultimately, fund type is not what dictates who we may or may not want to provide this level of information to.

  19. It would be helpful to have the ability to choose different fund statement types for Fund Advisors who advise on multiple funds.

    Example: John Doe's statement type is set to online. He is a Fund Advisor for Doe Family Fund and Designated Fund for ABC School. John needs to be able to view online information and make grant recommendations in the fund advisor portal for the Doe Family Fund. He needs to receive an emailed statement for the Designated Fund for ABC School but because of his role should NOT have access to see fund information online.

  20. When home Home/Donations/Recurring donations - a list of recurring donations is listed. However, it doesn't show the FUND the donation will be applied to on that screen (or when you export the list), I find it frustrating as our recurring donations list is growing. A post about it was archived. I hope to get some traction with this one!
