  1. Make the grant notification email something we can edit, or at least edit the subject line. Some of our donors get confused by the "Request Confirmation" subject line and feel like they have to respond to the email. Something like "Grant Requests Received" would be more helpful.

  2. It would be helpful if we could net transfer requests when printing the request form. For example, Fund A needs to transfer $100 from our bank account to an investment account, and Fund B needs to transfer $200 from the same investment account to our bank account. The balance swap module wants us to transfer more than necessary, so I need to do a manual swap. After completing the manual swaps, the net is $100 from investments to bank account, but the only options I am aware of are to print both requests and add a note to clarify what…

  3. For the Donation Notes Label in the Giving Hub - Is there a way to expand the character max or at least show all of the words? It is cutting off the limited amount. Ideally, we would love to use a drop down for folks to choose purpose of donation. (ex. Sponsorship, Mitzvah Moment, Board Contribution, General Support, Event Ticket, Registration, etc)

  4. I would like to see the design and position of the "Logout" button to be changed within Csuite so it's easily distinguished from "Portal," "Reports" and the other menu options.

    Most user interfaces have the logout option at one corner of a page and usually the font or design is different so it's not mistaken for another menu option. After the update adding the "Portal" option to the menu bar at the top of CSuite, I find myself sometimes misclicking and accidentally logging myself out.

  5. On the donor rollup report, it appears that if someone is part of a household, but has given individually, it’s not showing the date of last gift. It’s blank for the household. If only the household has given, the date is there, but not if someone that is part of that household has given individually. Total donations are there, just not that field. The only way to determine the date of last gift for the household is to examine the regular donor report. You have to look at each member of the household, and isolate the last gift date for…

  6. We would like to have the start and ends dates for grant catalogue requests to be tied to the individual requests in our grants catalogue rather than tied to the entire catalogue. We recently had a request that needs to be removed from the catalogue prior to it's full funding due to a change in the entity that owns the project asking for funds.   7. There are times throughout the year where it is necessary to put several recurring grants into the system to set everything up for the next year or based upon requests from a fund holder. In order to do this it has to be done one by one in the system. It would be helpful to have a way to get several recurring grants into the system via a front-end import.

  8. Need to be able to determine who can cancel/write-off a pledge or pledge payment. Currently there is not a separate permission in pledges where you can determine what users can write-off or cancel a pledge.

  10. Could a new "payment contact name" field be added to the Organizational profile? Currently, the fields "Contact" and "Contact Title" populate the address blocks on an envelope. If we have a separate "PAY" mailing address for checks, then we need a payment contact name to correspond/match to that PAY mailing address.

  11. Please make the Grant Funding table, found at the bottom of a Grant Catalog Grant once it has been funded, available to the Grant Letter and Grant Award Letter templates. Currently, it is not possible to use a template to pull where the grant was funded from out of the system.

    Nonprofits often want to know where the money comes from when they are funded for a Grant Catalog grant. The only way is to manually pull that info out of the system, and it isn't really reportable either.

  12. The new Reports permission, Full Access, allows someone to delete anyone's custom reports. That should be isolated to Admins, since that's dangerous. However, without this permission, no one can schedule their own report. That's not dangerous, and I would like to give that to most anyone. Can we de-link scheduling reports from the Full Access permission?

  16. Is there a way for CSuite to send grant request notifications that come in exclusively from a philanthropic advisor's portfolio? We have staff members assigned as Stewards for both donors and funds. If a grant request comes in from of these donors or for one of these funds, it would be nice to be able to notify that particular staff member, without it being an "all or nothing" proposition. Certainly, we have some staff that needs to be notified of each incoming grant, as they will be processing each one. But for other staff, it would be quite helpful if…

  17. The charity check data (through Grant Connect) is only updated on a quarterly basis, which means that if a Charity looses their status, they won't fail the charity check until the next quarter. The data should be updated on a daily basis - not quarterly.

    At this time, Grant Connect receives a manual update from the CRA. It is not an API feed that can be updated daily.

  18. When we off-board someone, we inactivate their account in CSuite. Depending on the situation, this may be done quickly. Whether it's quick or not, later on, we may need to re-assign their tasks to someone else. They also may have valuable custom reports that they neglected to share. Either one of these two require us to re-activate the user so that we can login as them to address the items. When we do that, we lose tracking on when we originally inactivated them.   19. Both of our audit group users - who only access the system for a few months annually - couldn't remember their passwords to log into CSuite. Unlike Fund Advisors, there is no "Send Login Email" in the left margin of the User tab of a profile. Since there were no instructions on any Foundant Help webpage or in Compass, the only work-around I could figure out was to "login as" each of them, send them their home screen once I assigned a temporary password.

    In the left side menu of the Home menu, there is an option for System URL's. Selecting that option returns a list of all the needed URL links to the system. Copy and paste the CSuite Login URL to send to a User in an emai once you have reset their password.

  20. We support multiple communities. When we show promoted funds on the portal, it would be nice to be able to show them by either Service Area or Group:Division. (Internally, we would be willing to use either of these attributes to assign the appropriate community.)

    So when the portal is displayed, users could easily find funds in their community.

    Donors do have the option to search by a service area, so if you displayed them on a fund record, they could sort on "xxxx" and a list of those funds would display. We don't plan on adding sort option to the tables, but are considering more filter options in the future. So changed the title to reflect what is possible.
