General Ledger - Make Account Field a Drop Down
When in General Ledger looking up the detail a specific account, it would be helpful if the "Account" field had a clickable drop-down list of all general ledger accounts. This would prevent the user from having to type in the account number. Many times the user does not know, or has forgotten, the account number they are looking for and a drop down would be beneficial in helping to find this.

Portal: ACH Option
With the addition of ACH information to the portal, I propose adding a verification button to improve security and accuracy. Verifying ACH details before use is a standard best practice to minimize user errors and prevent fraud. This feature would notify the foundation when new ACH details are added, prevent unverified transactions, and reduce errors and fraud by allowing a temporary hold on banking information being used until verification is complete. Implementing this feature would enhance data integrity, security, and overall operational efficiency.

Custom Reporting: Portal Edit Report
To maintain data integrity and streamline auditing/reviewing, I propose a Fund Advisor Portal Edit Report that tracks fund advisor profile modifications in the portal. This report would summary any changes that the fund advisor makes to their profile within the portal. This would include, change of username, address, phone number, the new banking information, TIN, SSN, etc. Currently, an email is sent to say there was a change but users have to go into the log to find what was changed or updated. If created, this report will improve oversight, ensuring accurate data and easier auditing/reviewing.

Report Editing
Currently you cannot edit someone else's report, you have to "Save As" and delete old report. It would be nice to either have an "Edit" option, similar to "Share" or if you select "Share", it would allow them to also edit.

giving hub remove other option
We would like to have the option to eliminate the "other" amount when using Giving Levels in the Fund Advisor Portal settings in the Fund record. When using the Giving Levels field to allow a membership fee or other type of donation that there should not be an "other amount".

Expand Outlook Integration for reading notes & profile details
The new Add Note to CSuite add-in is much appreciated but would be even better if you could also use it for composing an email and view existing notes & profile details. When we were demoing a competitor's platform before signing up with Foundant, they had an integration that would have a pop up showing the profile picture, details, and notes for the recipient with a live link to the profile in the platform. Would love to see something similar developed for Foundant.

Link Internal Grants and corresponding Internal Donations in custom report
I'd like to create a report that will link the Internal Donations to their corresponding Internal Grant record. Ideally pulling based off the hyperlinked ID, but at a minimum pulling the destination/donating fund.

Restricting access to funds
A way to restrict users' access to internal funds, either through permissions or other means. We have sensitive operating funds related to compensation that we wish to restrict access to.

Separate "hide description" for Donations vs Grants
The "hide description" functionality for the Fund Advisor portal currently hides the description on both donations AND grants. Based on other available settings related to fund advisors, there does not seem to be a setting that will allow for one description to show but not the other. It would be more practical to have control over those independently (e.g. turn off descriptions for donations, turn on descriptions for grants).

File Categories and "sticky" function in the new portal to organize fundholder files
We use the File section of the new portal to share fund agreements, stewardship materials (for those who no longer receive paper statements), and other documents with our fundholders. As the list of files grows with our engagement, this starts to be unwieldy without the ability to use the internal File Categories (and the sticky function) to organize the files for our fundholders. It would be wonderful to have this functionality in the portal, not just behind-the-scenes for staff.

Hide/Archive Option for Templates
Since it is not currently possible to delete templates that have grants/donations attached to it, it would be super helpful to be able to "hide" or "archive" old templates. Since so many hands touch these systems over time, it can get pretty overwhelming and difficult for anyone using the system.

Items with "heart" icon i.e. Tax Receipts and Tribute Notify in left hand menu
Could items with "heart" icon i.e. Tax Receipts and Tribute Notify in left hand menu, not only have the heart, but also appear in "red" font? This would help identify the anticipated next step from either the Donations/Receipt bucket or Donations/Tribute bucket.

Include Nick Name and Birth Name Fields in Profile Search Results
Please include the nick name and birth name fields in profile search results. This will allow us to search for individuals with a nick name or who have changed their name, and will also help prevent the creation of duplicate profiles when we do not get the expected search results.

Unwanted Updates to Bank Reconcile
Please bring back a couple of features with Bank Recs!
Please allow for sorting transactions by check number again. I can now filter to only checks but they're not always in order and I don't see any way to make it so.
Allow for easier unreconciling/rereconciling. It used to be if I had to fix something from three months ago that required unreconciling the bank account, I could rereconcile with only one click. Now I have to go in and uncheck every transaction for the following months, reconcile the first month, recheck all the items for the second month, reconcile…

Allow Users to Change Navigation Font and Color
The font color isn't dark or big enough, and if you want to use a dark background, there is no way to change the text to be lighter.

Enhancement to Abandoned Cart Email Frequency
We really like the ability to email our advisors who have left a grant request in their cart. Right now, the only option in the settings is to send these email reminders nightly. It would be great if there were other scheduling options, like weekly. From our perspective, emails sent each day may be somewhat irritating. It would be great if there were an option to send them less frequently, like weekly, or based on a certain number of days. We intend to send them weekly, but, at present, it will need to be done manually.

New Portal FUND SUMMARY Recent Grants - 20 displayed only
When a fund advisor is looking at the FUND SUMMARY page and Recent Grants, the list of Recent Grants that displays on this page is a maximum of 20 grants. It’s not a list determined by a lookback of a month or anything that seems to make sense, in fact an advisor of ours made a bunch of grants on the same date and this list was only showing some of them, which led her to believe that not all of them had gone through. Adding to the confusion is that it looks like the advisor can choose to edit…

Donations- Inactive Profiles not listed, causing duplicate profiles
In an effort to clean up our database, we've been marking profiles as "inactive" if they don't meet recent activity requirements. We recently discovered that those inactive profiles aren't showing on the list of possible profiles when a donation is being entered; therefore, a duplicate profile was created. We would find it helpful if the inactive profile was still listed in the drop-down menu so we would know that it needed to be "reactivated" so the donation could be processed properly.
