  1. Please make it possible to archive old and unused admin fee types. This has been proposed many times and it keeps getting closed because it's already been implemented, which is incorrect.

    The only way to get rid of an admin fee type is if it's never been applied to a fund or used. This is the error message you get when you try to delete one: This fee type was used in 2 admin fee calculations and cannot be deleted.

  2. Add field 'Sort Key' on Profiles. There isn't currently one field where all types of profiles- Organizations, Individuals, and Households, can be sorted together.

  3. We recently switched from MailChimp to Constant Contact as it offers more options and we believe it is a better platform. Would appreciate it if you would revisit adding Constant Contact as an option for the Campaign API kep.

  4. A new release has changed my scholarship list to include closed funds and designated scheduled funds. It would make my workflow easier if it could go back to just the list of scholarships that I use instead of having to add filters.

We will often build campaigns by adding/removing profiles based on the same parameters used in an earlier campaign, though the profiles themselves differ based on data updates: e.g. invitations to our annual reception, generating the e-newsletter mailing list. There are usually several steps required to correctly add profiles to these campaigns; we have been writing them down and recording them as notes attached to the campaigns (e.g. "filter profiles by profile type id=xyz and add as household; then filter donations by last donation date<xyz and remove from campaign," etc.) It would be wonderful if CSuite could record these steps for…

  6. The new "Portal Options -> Settings" areas in the sandbox (and rolling out to live site tomorrow) are great -- lots of customization! I would love to have the ability to edit the "Recognition Name" field name and description from the Checkout area of the donation portal/giving hub. Our donors don't interpret that field in quite the same way our staff do, and we would like to customize how it appears as we can with the Cover CC, Anonymous, and Newsletter fields.

  7. Please add an edit option to the distribution calculation after you click review and before posting. More than 100 of our scholarships have a defined payout. I change each amount to the defined payout which is shown in the distribution type. (We have 25 different distribution types with a define payout). Sometimes I hit the enter button and it goes to the next page before I finish. Would like to be able to go back in and edit the remaining without creating a new distribution calculation.   8. Could you all add a report pickup location within the system for scheduled reports to be run and then downloaded from within the system? Currently, scheduled reports only have an email option which raises security concerns for donor or financial information being sent unencrypted over email to users.

    Ideas could include putting a time line for expiration for scheduled report downloads (i.e., they are only saved in the pickup location for 24 hours) to prevent clutter.

  9. We would love the ability to enable/disable donor information (name, address, email) for each fund portal/fund advisor on a case-by-case basis (verse turning it on/off by type). While in most cases it is not necessary, we have support several unique fundraising efforts throughout the community where this would be a valuable addition to the donor services we are able to provide for our admin. fee. Ultimately, fund type is not what dictates who we may or may not want to provide this level of information to.

  10. It would be helpful to have the ability to choose different fund statement types for Fund Advisors who advise on multiple funds.

    Example: John Doe's statement type is set to online. He is a Fund Advisor for Doe Family Fund and Designated Fund for ABC School. John needs to be able to view online information and make grant recommendations in the fund advisor portal for the Doe Family Fund. He needs to receive an emailed statement for the Designated Fund for ABC School but because of his role should NOT have access to see fund information online.

  11. When home Home/Donations/Recurring donations - a list of recurring donations is listed. However, it doesn't show the FUND the donation will be applied to on that screen (or when you export the list), I find it frustrating as our recurring donations list is growing. A post about it was archived. I hope to get some traction with this one!

  12. Would love ability to see where a "fund advisor" is accessing, fund statements versus documents versus tax receipts. We are trying to evaluate if our newsletter is being read that is provided at the time of fund statements. Our email directs them to click in documents to see but we have no way of knowing if they actually are.

  13. Hello - I am wondering if at some point you all could have a geographic mapping tool for reporting so that we can share pins on a map for grants, gifts, and other reportable things as long as we have an address. This would be great for strategic planning, Board meetings, etc. Thank you

  14. I would like a hard stop or a warning message when a user is going to take an action that is going to result in the fund spendable balance exceeding the total fund balance. We have seen this occur when an manual distribution is made to the spendable beyond the total fund balance and also from transfers out of the fund balance that did not hit the spendable balance. Since the spendable number is the most important when it comes to our grant budgeting, we never want a case where the spendable is showing higher than it actually is or…

  15. We just sent our first bulk batch of transfer requests using the functionality in CSuite and were so excited! Previously, this was so tedious and having this "new" option was so optimistic!

    Could we please have the ability to pull the transfer "description" into the transfer letter? We request both grants and fees and have one template for this, however, there is no way for the advisor to know what we are requesting whether it be a grant reimbursement or admin fees without this description line pulling.

  17. On grants related to the Grant Advisor field, the field prepopulates with an individual who has the Fund Advisor designation. It would be helpful for the field:
    to default to blank or a Fund Founder instead and
    contain the ability to list multiple people in the case of a fund with multiple founders.

  18. We've had increased interest from the nonprofits that submit requests through the Grant Catalog to see the progress of their requested funding. Would be great if there was a way for the Nonprofit Grantee to track this during the Catalog cycle to know if they were getting partial or full funding prior to the close of the Catalog cycle (we process all the grants at one time at the end of the cycle). This would enable the nonprofit to plan accordingly if they are asking for an emergent need.

  19. Currently we use DocuSign to open a DAF and email. Most financial institutions that have a DAF product can be opened online.
    Can a process similar to GLM/SLM be used to open a DAF especially since DocuSign is being integrated. This would be helpful for opening all types of new funds.

  20. It would be so helpful to bring some enhanced budgeting tools into CSuite.

    Currently, only one Budget is allowed per fiscal year as far as I can tell. Having the ability to populate and maintain different budget "scenarios" for each fiscal year would be amazing. The adjustment to Projected Budget seems quite limited and we are not able to "calendarize" the total adjustment or have multiple versions. With this the idea would be to apply a filter to select which "scenario" we are opting to look at for a given report with budget involved and ensure our headers reflect that…
