add photos
We now allow users to edit their own information. Our records allow photos to be included for each user. So when the user clicks on "Personal Information" -> "Edit Information", can we allow them to add (or change) a photo?
- It's unclear to me how the photos in the profiles are used. I don't see where they show up.
- They should show up at least when you are viewing the profile. But other photo uses are possible including when you are listing the advisors/managers of funds, photos are worth a thousand words.3 votes -

Fund Design - Permission for adding fund images and description(s)
Our Communications team would like to be able to add photos and fund descriptions but we are very hesitant to give them full fund edit permission. Can you provide a new "Fund Design" permission so that this can be accomplished?

Discount Codes for Event Tickets
I'd like to have the ability to offer discount codes on event tickets. Right now, there is the ability to create a private ticket, but that is more suited for complimentary tickets. I would like to allow discount codes for a certain dollar amount off. This would help us not have to use ticketing platforms such as Eventbrite, which offer the discount code option.

Allow for multiple advisors on an account to be notified when requesting balance swaps
Being able to automatically send the request account advisors for money to be moved in the balance swap process is great. It would be even better if we could add a second person to be receive the request. We have multiple financial advisors who want their admin person to receive these types of requests along with them.

Portal: Customize or Options for Home Page
Create customizable options for the Top Donor's and Top Grantees charts on the home page. Many of our donors fund their DAFs with a single contribution, like an endowment. In this situation, when the donation is past the default date, which looks like the last 12 months, the donor is welcomed to a blank and confusing screen. A sample is attached. If there was a way to change the default date that is shown in the top right corner that would be great, or simply showing all donations, would be good. A blank chart looks really bad and is confusing…

grant minimums by fund group
We would love to have a minimum grant request option for the portal but its done by fund groups. For example: DAF's minimum grant is $500 but maybe and Org Endowed is $100. We adopted a policy that requires all DAF grants to be over $500. However, if we set that as the grant request minimum for the portal it will cause issues for some of our small organizational endowed funds who maybe don't have $500 in ATS in any given year.

Add Rich Text Editor for Fund Detail Summary
Having the Fund Detail Summary is a great addition for the Giving Hub. But what would make it even better if there was a WYSIWYG for that field to easily add links and photos. Having to use HTML coding makes it extremely cumbersome and there are already WYSIWYGs in other CSuite fields.

event income statement
Add date filters to the Campaign Income Statements, that allows for information to be pulled for specific date ranges - i.e: to be able to view the IS for a specific period or month rather than the current YTD.
This ability will assist with audit preparation as some events cross fiscal years

grant catalog field on bulk donation upload template
When we integrate GLM to CSuite for Grant Catalog use, there is no way to add the grant catalog identifier to the bulk donation upload template. We have several foundations that do Giving Day and they have nonprofits apply in GLM to participate, we integrate to CSuite for Grant Catalog. While some donate online and it works great, many people donate in person on Giving Day with a check or cash. In these cases (and could have upwards of 200-400 cash / check donations), our accounting department has to add the grant catalog field after they complete the bulk upload…

Apply to Spendable for Scholarship Refunds, particularly Post by Payment
From recent experience, if you receive a refund for a scholarship endowment that was marked post by payment, there is not a way to Apply it to Spendable when entering the refund on the scholarship record (which is where knowledgebase recommends you enter it). You have to either do a manual distribution or a journal entry to have the amounts go back towards the spendable balance.
Having a checkbox like you do for grant refunds to "apply to spendable" when entering the refund would be MUCH easier than having to take these additional steps to correct the spendable balance.

Bulk delete grants...please!
We see that this request has been archived in the past. Please reconsider it. If we import a large batch of grants or use the "Create Spendable Grants" to create hundreds of grants at one time, there is no way to bulk delete those grants once created if we find there is either an error or something that needs to be run differently. Individually opening and deleting each grant is extremely time consuming. Bulk actions can be found in other areas throughout the site. Can bulk delete of grants be implemented?

Recurring Donations & Tributes
It would be nice to be able to add a tribute to a recurring donation so it shows on each donation after it is posted rather than having to add the tribute to each donation (monthly, annually) after it is processed.

Campaign Main Page
Currently when you are on the Campaigns main page, you have to either search for the campaign or click on "list" on the left hand side to select the campaign you want to look at. I wish this page had the campaigns already listed so you could select right there and not have to go to another page. It would be a lot easier and a lot less clicks to get to where you want to go.

Indicate required fields with an asterisk
A great enhancement would be to indicate which fields are required when creating a new record (profile, donation, grants, voucher, etc.) --- such as an asterisk to indicate that a field is required. This is a well-known standard.
Currently, the only indicator is an error message when saving/posting.92 votes -
Portal: update breadcrumbs when tab names are changed
When a tab name is revised in Portal Setting, have the 'breadcrumbs' on the portal reflect the new name and not the original hardcoded tab name. Example: if revise Nonprofit Directory tab name from 'Directory' to 'Index', would be great if breadcrumbs back to previous pages reflect 'Index'.

Scholarship Letter Templates - Sort by Student Name!
We have had several universities complain that the scholarship letter template is messy and that it would be easier if it was organized by student name. After poking around and speaking with a support specialist, it seems this is not possible.
I have attached a copy of our current scholarship letter with fake names to give an idea of how Csuite currently arranges the order of students, which is by individual grant. I've also attached an alphabetized version of the same list of "students" to show a better flow.
You will see on the current version of the template, if…

Fund Advisors Field for Grants
When you set up fund advisors for the portal, they are usually linked to the individual advisor's profile, not the household. This makes setting the household as the advisor when entering grants difficult because it populates the profiles with portal access. We then have to manually update this on the next page to the household profile, and this sometimes causes confusion if the individual profile is selected.
It would be nice to set up a profile as a fund advisor without having it linked to portal access. Often, households want separate portal access but make their grants together and want…
2 votesThere is the following fund setting that populates a drop down box when a Fund Advisor requests a grant. This is would require the household to be an advisor - you do not need to give them fund access:
- Allow Additional Advisors - Allows fund advisors to make grant requests on behalf of other advisors.
- This does not need to be selected to have more than one fund advisor setup on a fund.

Pledge Section/Table in the Fund Statement Template
Please include a Pledge section/table in the fund statement template. Currently, there are only two fields in the entire fund statement fields list that are related to pledges and they only exist in the donations section/table.
We are requesting that a Pledge section/table be added to the fund statement template and available fields. Fields like the Pledge Balance, Pledge Anonymity, Pledge Status, Pledge Description, Pledge Total, etc.
Overall, a section related to just pledges would give our fund holders better insight into the pledges for the fund and what they can expect to be receiving.
