  1. We love that we are able to add a campaign to a voucher. This helps with tracking and reporting events. It would be great if we could add the campaign after the voucher is already posted and the check is already cut.

  2. I have some donors who prefer their tax receipts to be send via mail (or email). There should be way to filter for this under "Donations Needing Receipts" other than using the "Do Not Email" field (because some donors wish to receive emails for other communications, but hard copies of tax receipts).

  3. When a grant request is submitted through the portal and requested to be anonymous, the record that it was requested to be anonymous should carry through all stages of the grant. Currently, the grant requests in the portal tab show whether the grant is anonymous, but once the grant is created, the Online Grant Request details do not show whether or not the grant was anonymous. It would be helpful to have this here for easy reference, especially for funds that do not always send grants anonymously.

  4. We used to use the Funds search bar to only search open funds. When we wanted to search all funds, including closed funds, we used the main search bar in the top left of the main screen.

    Having open and closed funds in the main Funds search bar takes so much more time and is a hassle to have to sift through more similar fund names. We were required to set up test funds when we started with Foundant that we were not allowed to delete out. Now these test funds continue to show up on the Funds bar when…

  5. In Portal Options> Portal Settings allow the settings to be more granular. For example, allow 'profile updates' to be set only on profiles with 'Student' designation.

  6. Hello,
    We have a need to pull donations for certain subsets of profiles, which we achieve by running profile reports and filtering. However, we need to pull donation reports for these. Which would be simple if we have the option to upload IDs (as you do for other reports) and then be able to run a donation report on that uploaded list.

  7. It would be very helpful if we could bulk add year-end receipts to the portal so our fund holders can view their year-end receipt with all gifts in one receipt in one place. Fund Statements are generated and posted on the portal so it seems like the mechanics are in place to do something similar for year-end receipts. It would be great for our donors who have a fund, especially those who make multiple gifts during the year, to be able to view/print a year-end receipt from the portal.

  8. With thanks to @Jessika Ellis: We really need this

    Could a custom report for Opportunity ALSO include available fields for Opp Task Names, associated Descriptions and Notes text, as well as fields for the Profile associated with the Opportunity?

    Currently, there are 3 potential Custom Reports (Task, Note, Opportunity) we can use to pull out almost all of this information, but the Available Fields vary dramatically within each of these, and none give a full Opportunity view or export.

  10. We need the fields for tribute information on a donation to be available to pull into the donation notify email body content. Right now, the tribute fields aren't available for this template.

    We send agencies notifications about donations made to their agency endowment, and we need tribute information to be included. If it's not, the agency doesn't get the full context of the gift.

Similar to the grants bucket and other areas of the system with sorting capabilities, it would be great if the Items columns in individual Vouchers could be sorted - Expense Account, Description, Quantity, Unit Cost, Total, and Campaign. When entering a voucher with many items, the sort order changes once the voucher is saved, so it would be very helpful to be able to sort these columns on screen. Thanks for considering!

  12. A module or integration with Expensify/Concur, which allows vendor receipts to be recorded. If Csuite could use OCR and AI technology to interpret receipt expense accounts, it would be great. If not, then it would be a good thing to allow Expensify/Concur to upload the images and data from their cloud database into Csuite. This would be used for expense tracking and budgeting purposes for nonprofit organizations.

  15. Right now when I import Journal Entries, it combines random entries with the same date. It isn't even all one date, there could be two or three. We need these to all be separate as they're different deposits, different payment methods, etc. Grouping them makes reconciliation incredibly difficult.

  16. For endowed funds, We would like there to be an option somewhere in the donation process for a donor to select whether they would like their donation to go towards the principal or spendable balance of the fund.

    Right now all donations are automatically applied to the principal but we have some donors that will make a contribution to the spendable balance of a fund in order to cover the difference for a grant/scholarship going out.

  17. We've come across some businesses that require an invoice prior to the purchase of a sponsorship style ticket. Currently, the only way to do this is to have the purchaser call our office, and then we can purchase the ticket for them with the "create receivable" option.

    It would be great to see an option available for purchasers to do this themselves when they navigate to an event to purchase a ticket or sponsorship ticket.

Sometimes different schools have differing criteria for the student information they would like us to communicate along with scholarship payments and being able to accommodate those differences within the templates assigned would be a great convenience. At the simplest level, some schools request we include a student info form and it would be great if our letter could reference that form as part of the complete correspondence, while not referencing any attachments on letters to schools that do not request supplemental documentation.

  19. Please add Primary Fund Advisor field to the Profile Fund custom report. Currently there is no way to see which funds do not have a primary advisor or have out-of-date primary advisors, without opening each individual Fund record. It's making system setup and maintenance unmanageable.

  20. Current Challenge: The grant reporting system currently lists each fund disbursement as a separate grant, even when multiple funds contribute to a single board-approved grant. This results in:

    Overstatement of grant count: A single grant appears as multiple entries.
    Underreporting of average grant size: The total amount is split across entries, skewing metrics.
