  1. "Microsoft Word 97 - 2003" file format is not compatible with Microsoft SharePoint. In this file format, you can’t use the “autosave” function, and multiple people are not able to collaborate in the document concurrently. Updating format to "Microsoft Word Document" will likely improve user workflows.

    (Same with Word and Excel files in GLM/SLM. Will post idea there too)

  2. We would like to be able to download account values directly into the Community Suite at least once each month to improve efficiency and keying errors. The best would be the ability to download daily market close information for each investment position held that post a price at market close and quarterly for investments which value once per quarter.

  3. Two recommendations: 1) when entering in a money amount greater than 3 digits, it would be great if a comma automatically appears. When I enter gifts with many zeros, it is difficult for me to know if it is correct without the thousands separator. 2) when entering dates and phone numbers, it would be great if the format was automated...automatically putting in "/" for date separators and advancing automatically...and "( )" for telephone numbers so that all phone numbers are formatted the same automatically.

  4. In an effort to move to more ACH payments, we would like an integration of a cloud-based, third party billing service. At our foundation, we have no interest in collecting our vendor and grantee's sensitive bank information and storing and entering it ourselves. That is why we believe a successful third-party billing option is the best way to go. We have heard that CSuite is experimenting with Bambora, however, upon our research, we find that this may not completely suit all our needs. Has CSuite looked into working with another billing service, like bill.com, for instance? If not, I suggest…

  6. It would be nice in C-Suite to be able to put a grant On Hold in the Approval and Voucher buckets in addition to the New bucket. The New bucket has not yet booked an expense to the General Ledger and often we want to book the expense but still prevent the grant from being paid for various reasons.

  8. We would really love to have a bulk edit option for the payment schedule date and bulk edit date. To offer some context from an accounting perspective, the concern is that the grant date and edit payment schedule dates are different especially when grants are entered or submitted on a certain date but are needing to be paid on a schedule, typically a Friday for us. The grant date is what drives the date the expense is posted to the GL. We have had to manually update the payment schedule date and the grant date for each grant since there…

  9. It would be very beneficial if there were column views on ALL of the financial reports. There are column views on the balance sheet and income statement.... but can it please be integrated in the trial balance and detail trial reports? There are certain reports we ran and need from FIMS that we could get exactly what we wanted if we had this option.

    The reports we are pulling now in place of it have way too much information on there that is not needed. If I can pull a detail trial with certain accounts selected then have a column…

  10. It would be great to have a field within custom reports that indicates if a grant is a multi-fund grant or not. Currently there is no way to show this and multi-fund grants appear as individual grants based on the fund rather than one grant that is paid separately. This makes reporting on multi-fund grants a very manual process.

  11. The ability to increase the scholarship award amount after part of the award has been paid would be useful for our organization. Instead of creating a new scholarship for the same student, adding a payment, grant, or award line would tie the awards for the student together in one area. Propose the function to 'Open' the Scholarship to add spendable and create additional grants under the scholarship award and ability to modify remaining scholarship dollar amounts.

  14. Please consider providing a way to group non-till transactions when depositing to bank. It is sometimes financially prudent for our foundation to use a 3rd party payment processor other than Stripe for an event, and so we may have hundreds of donations processed and then transferred in groups to our bank account. Without a way to group accordingly in C-Suite, we must reconcile the bank statement with thousands of individual deposit entries.

  15. It would be great if the system could trigger a pop up/warning if there is a duplicate donation in the cart (amount or fund or both) before it goes through the payment process. We're finding that every now and again a donor has not noticed the duplicate payment and has transacted twice when they only meant to once.

  16. For those funds that specify a dollar distribution (ex: $6,000/year), it would be nice to have the ability to create and apply that distribution type. I understand it can be modified during review but could be easily missed, particularly by newer staff. If there's a good work around I'd appreciate suggestions.

  17. I would like to suggest adding a function that allows users to cc or bcc a email sent externally (through Outlook or Gmail) to that donors profile. In past roles, I have had this ability - If I included this address in my email it was attached to the donor profile with a matching e-mail address. It's good and soooooo valuable in communicating!

    Little Green Light is an example of a CRM that empowers this.

  20. On an organizational profile record, the static fields "Contact" and "Contact Title" allow you to type in a name and title, which then populate the address blocks on that record. Those fields appear on check letter and grant letter templates.
    There is also an option to select an individual which is linked to the organization as a "Primary Org Contact". That selection makes a dynamic link to the individual. However, "Primary Org Contact" is not an available merge field on any template.

    It would be ideal to have that dynamic, linked indication available as a merge field or (even better!)…
