Fund Sort Key searchable
Some of our funds have fund names that do not indicate the donor name. In the sort key we reference the donor name. However, the sort key is not a searchable reference. We can't leverage the short name because we use our legacy fund ids there and want to continue that system. We would like the sort key to be a searchable term so if we were searching it pulls up the fund wherever we would put a fund name/id.

Notes on Group records
Add ability to add a note to a Group record under System Configuration. As a system admin, I am currently keeping a separate record of notes for each of the user groups I create. Different teams, and members on those teams, have different access requirements so I am documenting the purpose of each targeted Group. It would be more convenient to have these notes included on the Group record but there is currently not a button to add a note to that type of record.

CommunitySuite Upcoming Releases Page should have a link to the product roadmap
I like to check the Community Suite release notes and frequently visit the upcoming releases page (https://support.foundant.com/hc/en-us/articles/8239927327127-CommunitySuite-Upcoming-Releases). Right now there there isn't anything upcoming and has this message:

Portal: Customize or Options for Home Page
Create customizable options for the Top Donor's and Top Grantees charts on the home page. Many of our donors fund their DAFs with a single contribution, like an endowment. In this situation, when the donation is past the default date, which looks like the last 12 months, the donor is welcomed to a blank and confusing screen. A sample is attached. If there was a way to change the default date that is shown in the top right corner that would be great, or simply showing all donations, would be good. Add Rich Text Editor for Fund Detail Summary
Having the Fund Detail Summary is a great addition for the Giving Hub. But what would make it even better if there was a WYSIWYG for that field to easily add links and photos. Having to use HTML coding makes it extremely cumbersome and there are already WYSIWYGs in other CSuite fields.

Apply to Spendable for Scholarship Refunds, particularly Post by Payment
From recent experience, if you receive a refund for a scholarship endowment that was marked post by payment, there is not a way to Apply it to Spendable when entering the refund on the scholarship record (which is where knowledgebase recommends you enter it). You have to either do a manual distribution or a journal entry to have the amounts go back towards the spendable balance.
Having a checkbox like you do for grant refunds to "apply to spendable" when entering the refund would be MUCH easier than having to take these additional steps to correct the spendable balance.

Scholarship Letter Templates - Sort by Student Name!
We have had several universities complain that the scholarship letter template is messy and that it would be easier if it was organized by student name. After poking around and speaking with a support specialist, it seems this is not possible.
I have attached a copy of our current scholarship letter with fake names to give an idea of how Csuite currently arranges the order of students, which is by individual grant. I've also attached an alphabetized version of the same list of "students" to show a better flow.

Customize Fund Advisor portal
I propose two key enhancements to the Fund Advisor Portal:
File Upload Feature:
Allow fund advisors to upload files directly through the portal. This would streamline the submission process for grant requests by enabling them to attach relevant documents, such as proposals and supporting materials.
Customizable Fields and Questions:Implement a feature that allows administrators to add or modify questions and fields in the grant request forms. This flexibility would help ensure we gather all necessary information tailored to different grant opportunities and donor requirements.

Show who is notified in online tribute dropdown
When displaying tributes for donors, in the dropdown on the Giving Hub, to select from, show who will be notified. We have tributes with different people to notify for the same person being honored/memorialized. For instance, the son's friend wants to notify the son of their donation, not the spouse. You see multiple tributes for the same person but have no idea why or who might be notified. We also have people put their own name in the notify thinking this is how they will get acknowledgement of the donation.

More Customization Language
Some of our fund holders are confused by some language and say it is not intuitive and feels too "jargon-y." We appreciate the option to edit language on some of the headers, it would be great to extend that to more places on the portal. We add instructions at the top of each page, but sometimes that isn't enough.
Some specific requests we've gotten to update the language are:
"COPY" button under the grants tab.
"Search Grantee" and "Manual Grantee" buttons when requesting a grant
"Description" and "Additional grantee contact" when requesting a grant.

Grant Recognition Options
When requesting grants, fund holders should be able to select how they would like to be recognized. They should be able to select between fund name only, fund holder name, address, and email.
Often times our fund holders select different recognition options for certain organizations outside of anonymous or not. We encourage organizations to send thank you letters to the donors and this helps make that connection.

Track Fund Milestone Anniversaries
We want to have a stewardship program based on Fund Milestone Anniversaries - 1rst, 5th, 10th, 15th etc.. Currently the only way to manage is to use an excel spreadsheet to track the upcoming dates. If there was a function that permit this within CSuite, that could be reported on, that'd be great! Ideally, we could report on any fund that has a milestone anniversary year in any given year.

Include external people on tasks
Would really like the ability to invite external people, such as financial advisors when they are sending out tasks from CommunitySuite. Ideally, they would be able to select profiles from within CSuite to add to tasks, which would send the invite to the staff people and the external person's calendar.

Birthday/Anniversay alerts
A simple idea that would help us a lot is to have checkboxes for alerts of important dates such as birthdays, anniversaries, etc when creating profiles. A step better would be receiving an email with this alert . Would be much easier than setting a task for each date for every profile .

Loans between 2 Funds
We are testing using Loans in Csuite for the first time. It would be great if a loan could also have the option to be between 2 funds so that the system would not only create the entries on the fund making the loan, but also on the fund receiving the loan. And this would extend to the payments as well - that the system would make entries on both funds. In our case, we are loaning to an affiliate organization which has its funds with us. The payments are coming from that fund.

Indicate fund balance has been reduced by pending grants on the fund
If you don't work with grants to know there are some in the system to be paid and you look at a fund that has pending grants, it can look like something is wrong on the fund. The fund balance has been reduced by the pending grants but the assets have not been reduced. This makes sense but for development people who aren't aware of grants, it can get confusing. Could there be some sort of flag on the balance that grants are pending or something?

checkout - event options for non ticket options
We have an annual Gala fundraiser event set up as a campaign in C-Suite. The Gala has some tickets for sponsorships, some are tables, some are tickets and some are donation items or underwriting options.
For only one of those conditions is the best term "Ticket(s)" in the user's Cart Summary page.
I'd like to be able to provide a noun for use in the cart (in the edit-ticket form), so that respectively above someone could have one sponsorship, two tables, four tickets and one underwritten expense shown in their Cart Summary page as they check out.

990 Division Checkbox Filter
Currently, the Division Filter only allows for all divisions or individual divisions. Please create an option to checkbox particular divisions so that it is possible to include and exclude particular divisions when utilizing the 990 reporting.

Add the ability to import custodial statements
We would like to be able to download account values directly into the Community Suite at least once each month to improve efficiency and keying errors. The best would be the ability to download daily market close information for each investment position held that post a price at market close and quarterly for investments which value once per quarter.

Custom Reports
Is there a way, if not, could there be a way to filter the Custom Reports by employee. For example I'd like to only see my reports listed at times. Also, the headings of each area...could those be changed to a bold print or color print?
