  1. As a foundation, I would like for community members visiting my website to be able to select "Start a Fund" from my website and enter details/intentions about that fund.

    Additionally, when fund advisors are logged in to their existing fund through the portal, I would like them to be able to request changes to the fund: Ex.: investment strategy.

  2. We are thrilled to see the new option added in the 8/3/22 upgrade that allows you to link a beneficiary profile to an opportunity. This is ideal for tracking and reporting on future gifts, particularly legacies/promises. It would be helpful if it were possible to add multiple beneficiaries to a single promise, as we have donors who intend to give a single gift that will benefit multiple of our organization partners.

  3. The Tasks feature in CSuite is a great feature, but it would be even more effective if we had the option to view our current tasks after logging in, rather than seeing the Home Page. This would automatically prompt users to review everything on their current To-Do list rather than having to remember to review tasks.

  4. Not too long ago, there was a PREVIEW button when selling stock. This was extremely helpful so that you can make sure net proceeds equal what you actually received for the stock. This button disappeared and is now just a POST button. It is so much better to be able to preview the calculated proceeds before posting them because if something gets entered incorrectly, we now have to unpost the transaction to fix it. Please restore the PREVIEW button. Thank you!

  5. Opportunities have a unique opportunity id. There is no way to search for an opportunity via its id. I would love to be able to search for an opportunity via its id in the global search on the top. And within the opportunities object have more options for searching for an opportunity.

  6. When a Fund Advisor is on the (new) Donor Portal page, a button shows up that says "Make a donation". This takes them to a donations page with all of the promoted Funds along with the user's DAF. This is a bit confusing for our user base, and we would like the option for that button to instead direct them to a page that only shows their own Fund(s). To be clear, it directs them here: https://topjfoundation.fcsuite.com/erp/donate We would prefer that it directs them to their own fund (fund id 1111 in this example) https://topjfoundation.fcsuite.com/erp/donate/create/fund?funit_id=1111

We are in an area that is multi-lingual in addition to English (mostly Spanish, Russian, Arabic) and would love to be able to use the Google Translate option to help non-English speakers (or English as a Second Language) interact more easily with us. However, as it currently loads, you have to zoom out on a browser screen to be able to view more languages with the way the columns cascade to the right. For most of the languages spoken in this area, a standard laptop screen will not display them without zooming out on the website, which is not something…

  8. Some of our funds have fund names that do not indicate the donor name. In the sort key we reference the donor name. However, the sort key is not a searchable reference. We can't leverage the short name because we use our legacy fund ids there and want to continue that system. We would like the sort key to be a searchable term so if we were searching it pulls up the fund wherever we would put a fund name/id.

  9. If you visit a grant catalog while it is closed (specifically the URL of a specific grant request), the text is not customizable. Right now, it says "Sorry, that grant cycle is closed," which I think is unfriendly and almost unprofessional? There's not even a period at the end of the sentence. I'd love to be able to edit this content.

  10. Is there a way that a filter can be added like the one on the 990 report (total donations exceeding) to the donor report to run tax receipts letters for only a certain dollar amount, (see attached screenshots).
    Please consider this request, I think it will help a lot of foundation out at year end.

  11. I like leveraging the custom fields to customize the platform to meet our needs. However, sometimes there are a lot of custom fields on the object. I try to group them by naming the field. Example: Presentations - Audience, Presentations - Description etc on opportunities to have a section of custom fields that are related to custom fields. Rather than having to have all of these longer names, it would be helpful if we could have custom field groups to begin to organize this information. Or to even designated tabs in the custom field section so we can flip through…

  12. Having the Fund Detail Summary is a great addition for the Giving Hub. But what would make it even better if there was a WYSIWYG for that field to easily add links and photos. Having to use HTML coding makes it extremely cumbersome and there are already WYSIWYGs in other CSuite fields.

  13. From recent experience, if you receive a refund for a scholarship endowment that was marked post by payment, there is not a way to Apply it to Spendable when entering the refund on the scholarship record (which is where knowledgebase recommends you enter it). You have to either do a manual distribution or a journal entry to have the amounts go back towards the spendable balance.

    Having a checkbox like you do for grant refunds to "apply to spendable" when entering the refund would be MUCH easier than having to take these additional steps to correct the spendable balance.

  14. Would like the option to assign a single fund w/some beneficiaries set $ amounts, and remaining spendable pool granted to either single beneficiary or multiple beneficiaries by percentage. Example: Washington State Pup Fund's agreement specifies annual distributions per spending policy be allocated as $1k each per Short-Hair Dog Fund and Hairy Dog Fund, and the remaining balance split 50%/50% between Hyper Dog Fund and Lazy Dog Fund.

  15. Can we add sponsored org to the profile of a organization. This would be helpful so if we create a check for an org, that sponsor automatically goes on the check and gets paid. This will also help with record keeping when we pay grantees.

  16. Scheduled reports: Would be nice to be able to add text to the body of the email when scheduling reports for distribution. This would allow for addition information to the recipient on purpose and/or use of the report data. Particularly useful when sending data in CSV format where that data is intended for use in a subsequent process.

  17. We want to have a stewardship program based on Fund Milestone Anniversaries - 1rst, 5th, 10th, 15th etc.. Currently the only way to manage is to use an excel spreadsheet to track the upcoming dates. If there was a function that permit this within CSuite, that could be reported on, that'd be great! Ideally, we could report on any fund that has a milestone anniversary year in any given year.

  19. Would really like the ability to invite external people, such as financial advisors when they are sending out tasks from CommunitySuite. Ideally, they would be able to select profiles from within CSuite to add to tasks, which would send the invite to the staff people and the external person's calendar.

  20. Would really like to have the ability to include meeting invite information in a task when it is sent ouf of CommunitySuite. Ideally, would have another field on the task, in addition to description, where they could enter Zoom meeting credentials, a room, etc.
