  1. For JE object custom reports, all transactions are tied to the same Journal Entry ID, which prevents the report from capturing reversal entries. For example, if a prior-year JE is reversed in the current year, the reversal will not appear when pulling current-year JEs.

The report should include reversal dates, transaction IDs, and account numbers. It should also present reversing entries as separate lines (ideally at the individual line-item level), rather than linking everything back to a single Journal Entry ID.

For audit purposes, we need a complete report of all manual JEs. Currently, this requires pulling two separate reports…

  2. Add an alternative option to ‘distribute start date’ that would calculate a distribution after a determined fund balance was met.

  3. It would be very helpful if Foundant allowed budgeted accounts to include multiple line items (subcategories) within a single GL account or subaccount, rather than restricting imports to one total amount per account.
Currently, Foundant only allows one total per account (e.g., Account 4XXXX = $10,000). In practice, this total is often made up of multiple components (e.g., Consulting $5,000, Team Meetings $5,000). This limitation forces users to track supporting details outside the system, reducing visibility, increasing manual work, and creating a higher risk of error.

I would like to see a budget function that supports multiple rows per GL…

  4. Currently, the cover credit card fee checkbox appears for all registrants during event ticket checkout and cannot be disabled at the event level. For foundations that do not want donors covering CC fees for specific events, the only option is to include messaging asking registrants to skip the checkbox -- which not everyone follows.

A toggle at the event level that controls whether the cover CC fee option displays during checkout would give foundations more control over the experience and eliminate the need for workaround messaging.

  5. When a donor submits a pledge through the Giving Hub, they see an on-screen confirmation, but no email confirmation is sent.

For donors, an email confirmation provides reassurance that their submission was received and gives them a record to reference. For foundation staff, it reduces inbound inquiries from donors wondering if their pledge went through.

A simple confirmation email triggered on pledge form submission would close this gap and bring the pledge experience in line with other Giving Hub workflows.

  6. Please make the Additional Image field optimize better for desktop and mobile!

When the Additional Image is added to a fund page on desktop, it adds a ton of white space. On mobile, it expands and cuts off the image.

Since the fund image is best for square images, we use this field for rectangular shaped logos and banners. Between the two bad options for how it displays, it's not a very useful image field - which we desperately need to brand our funds!

  8. Grants can sometimes remain in the voucher bucket for extended periods and may require a charity check before processing. Currently, there is no option to perform this directly from the voucher bucket.

Allowing users to initiate a charity check from the voucher bucket would streamline workflows, reduce extra navigation, and help ensure compliance for grants that have been pending for longer periods.

  10. Currently, when creating an Opportunity Task Note, users can associate both a Profile and a Fund with the note.

The note does display in the Notes tab on the associated Profile
However, the note does not display in the Notes tab on the associated Fund

This creates an inconsistency in how notes are surfaced across related records.

    Suggested Enhancement:
-When a Fund is selected on an Opportunity Task Note, the note should also appear in the Notes tab of that Fund
-This would mirror the existing behavior for Profiles and create consistency across the system

    Why This Matters:
    -Improves visibility…

  11. We would like to be able to run a report or somehow be able to see how many Profiles have a specific Profile Type. There is no way to quickly access this in a single report - we have to run a report for each Profile Type, then see how many profiles populate. Having a list to easy reference the number of profiles that have a Profile Type would be helpful to keep the data clean and up to date.

  12. As a community foundation with defined impact goals
I want to be able to show a fund holder what they have contributed toward those goals
So that I can inspire them to give more to the impact areas.

Another application of this functionality would be to show the fund holder a breakdown of all their grants by grant type.

  13. Recurring grants are not automatically added to the main grant bucket when they come due, whether monthly or annually. Instead, you have to manually open the recurring grants section and move them over yourself. This creates a risk of missing scheduled grants, especially if you only have a few. Automatically moving recurring grants into the main grant bucket at the appropriate time would prevent these oversights.

  14. Many foundations need a quick way to identify donors who have not made a gift within a specific date range (for example, donors who have not given during the current fiscal year or within the last 12 months).

Currently, users can filter the Donor Report by Last Donation Date, or view Year-over-Year donation columns, but there is no simple way to directly filter for donors who have not given between two specific dates.

A few examples of common use cases:
-Identify board members who have not yet made a gift this year
-Identify lapsed donors who have not given within…

  15. When we email customer invoices the primary email is the default email, even if there is a separately marked pay email on the profile. Invoices should default to going to the pay address, not the primary. If you email invoices individually you can select what email address to use but you can't see which email is marked primary or pay unless you go back to the profile which is tedious, and the bulk email does not even list the option to switch the recipient email . We have some organizations we email invoices to and also email grant letters to…

  16. The AR Detail screen gives you totals for each timeframe. It would also be helpful to list an overall total for that profile, like listed on the main AR page.

  19. Currently in the donor portal, before a donor submits their grants, there is a button that says "Review Grant Request". Can we please change this to say submit the grants? I have had numerous phone calls from our donors because they are frustrated with the clicks before the grants are submitted. We have several older donors who are confused by that button and let their grants sit in the cart. I would love to see an easier process/button to submit grant requests.

  20. Please consider adding an approval log (or something similar) to a scholarship record. Currently there is nothing that mimics the 'Approval' log that appears on a grant. When a scholarship record has 'auto-approve' turned on, it auto runs through the grant stage, and still does not receive a logged approval. There is no easy way to see which user made the approval on the scholarship record, at any point in the system (SLM through to CSUITE). The lack of this transparency means we have to upload additional documentation to CSuite, showing who approved the scholarship to be paid, even when…
