  1. After completing a recent grant catalog cycle, we have a fiscally sponsored group who likes to send out their own thank you notes. I told them they could find the donors in their portal, however, the grant catalog only comes in as one lump sum grant and does not show the list of donors that gave to their campaign, which I can see on the back end easily in the report. It would be nice to be able to click on the grant amount from a grant cycle in their portal so that they can see each individual who gave.

  2. Create a way to add different "Alert Areas". We can add additional Notes/Task types, it would be great to add additional alert types, or enable a sticky note to be pasted to the main profile or fund page.

  3. The new check workflow for grants added a "Document" tab in the Grants section of C-Suite. To clear out the number in parenthesis I noticed that you have to click "Send Documents" and then select the batch and then select "Mark Documents Sent" Is there a way you can make this a bulk update for all batches so you don't have to click in each batch separately?

    I just don't like seeing a number in parenthesis each time I go into the Grants section because I keep thinking there is something I need to do, but it's just docs sitting…

  4. Many foundations need a quick way to identify donors who have not made a gift within a specific date range (for example, donors who have not given during the current fiscal year or within the last 12 months).

    Currently, users can filter the Donor Report by Last Donation Date, or view Year-over-Year donation columns, but there is no simple way to directly filter for donors who have not given between two specific dates.

    A few examples of common use cases:
    -Identify board members who have not yet made a gift this year
    -Identify lapsed donors who have not given within…

  5. Just like we can delete bulk notes, it would be nice to have an edit option to change task type, who, etc.

    We have notes that were imported (more than 19,000) from our conversation in 2019 that we are now getting around to sorting through. It would be nice to bulk add the name of the employee for specific notes.

  6. As donor services, I work often with our DAF individuals who struggle using the portal. It is so important that we can "login as" them so we can talk them through creating a grant or how to add a gift to their DAF. I have donors tell me what they're seeing on their screen and ask me if they did their grant right. I can't see it unless I go to the List Cart in Fund Advisors and there, if they add any information in the Special Instructions, that information isn't on List Cart. And I can only see their…

    To login as a fund advisor in the new portal, you must go to the login as tab on the main profile. There is a login as option in the left menu from that tab. Because of a change to profiles and enhanced security, this will log you out of CSuite as a User. You can login as in an incognito window, that will not log you out.

  7. We need a function to establish minimum balance requirements for all of our funds so that spending is halted once the minimum balance has been reached. This is to protect us from allowing a fund to completely spend down before we are able to assess our fees (annually).

  8. It would be helpful to have the option to run the functional expense report that included all expenses, even those not coded with a functional expense code. This would allow for complete reporting of expenses and a quick way to see what expenses have not been assigned a functional expense code

  9. I know a recent update has allowed all contributor names to be anonymized, with a single checkbox in System Data, when they appear in the Donor Portal. It has been our practice to reveal contributor names and contact information to fundholders but NOT the amount of the gifts. In this way, our fundholders have an opportunity to mail their own personal thank yous to those who contribute to their fund.

    I know contributor amounts can be hidden via a fund-by-fund checkbox, but for our organization, with ~1200 funds, this is a large task to undertake. Could a single checkbox choice…

  10. It would be helpful if we could net transfer requests when printing the request form. For example, Fund A needs to transfer $100 from our bank account to an investment account, and Fund B needs to transfer $200 from the same investment account to our bank account. The balance swap module wants us to transfer more than necessary, so I need to do a manual swap. After completing the manual swaps, the net is $100 from investments to bank account, but the only options I am aware of are to print both requests and add a note to clarify what…

  11. There are certain fields requested by DonorSearch to complete wealth screenings on profiles. Most are readily available in CSuite, but some are not as easy to access. In order to reduce the amount of manual and spreadsheet lookup work needed to prepare an import file, please consider adding the following enhancements for the donor rollup report to make HH reporting easier: Largest Gift Date, Last Gift Amount, First Gift Amount, and First Gift Date and Last Gift Date to aggregate data across all rolled up profiles (currently shows HH dates even if IND profile dates are first/last).

  12. It is no longer possible to see complete giving history to a fund for Advised contributions to that fund or information about the donor-advisor.
    Example: The Bob & Carol Fund at OCCF advised a grant out of their DAF to ABC Nonprofit's endowment fund at OCCF once a year for six years. ABC's fund portal shows the endowment contribution, but drilling into the contribution does not display that donor's impressive six year history of endowment gifts or their address, instead it displays every interfund gift from OCCF to that endowment fund.   14. After you process a grant and print the check, the system shows there are outstanding "documents" to be processed. We have to click "process documents" and mark each one accordingly (print, download,etc.) There is a mark as sent link to select if you've already sent the document. I usually print my letter at the same time I print my check so we don't need the reminder for the letter. I understand some organizations need/want this functionality and I get why it was created.

For the past couple of events, we have had a lot of donors not complete registration by not assigning themselves tickets. would it be possible to have the ticket assigning happen before they pay? For example, first they choose the number of tickets, then assign tickets, then pay/click register?

  17. It would be nice to have a more robust grant import tool. Something that would include the fund ID (so you don't have to complete separate imports per fund), description, grant type, ... basically everything that could be entered in the grant screen. The current import basically allows you to get items in the system, but then creates a second step to finish up the grant. It's not really saving much time.

  18. Let's end the institutional discrimination against grant buckets like New, Approval, Unfunded, Import, Catalog, GLM, Request. What did they do to deserve being excluded from the Filter > Status field option? That field is currently reserved ONLY for upper-crust elite members like buckets Voucher, Paid, Complete.

    This inequitable othering will not stand. Why limit the filtering capacity for more than half the grants pipeline?

When completing a fund summary report for a specific calendar year, CSuite generates the exact report I need with graphs and great overall information including fund group balances, donations and grants. However, I need to filter this report one step further for particular divisions. I am unable to add filters or edit the report in anyway. I'd appreciate this feature be added to these fund summary reports to alleviate creating multiple and tedious sperate reports.

  20. IRA Gift Tax Receipt Letters - Salutation & Envelopes

    When processing IRAs or charitable bank gifts, while we can now get the address on the tax receipt letter to populate as the Donor Advisor instead of the "donor"/Bank - I am still having issues with the salutation being the Banks/"donors" name and not the Donor Advisor, even when I populate this field to "John Smith".
    Then, when I print envelopes, no matter what I do, the envelope will print with only the Bank/"donors" address. I have to go in separately and print an envelope from each personal profile since I…
