  1. You can set a primary contact for an organization. But there is no way to pull that into a report. We prefer not to set the contact on the actual organization profile because it then prints that name on a check. There is no way to pull primary contact as a field in a report. It would be great if this was a reportable field so we can create effective and efficient contact lists.

  2. It would be helpful to have the option to include ACH and Electronic Checks in the Positive Pay Export. ACH and Electronic Checks that are presented at our bank create exceptions and we manually approve them for payment on our banking website. If we could include these in our Positive Pay Export uploads, these payments would clear without causing exceptions. Thank you for your consideration.

  3. In the new portal if Grant Request is turned on the Create Grant Request button displays on all the pages - which is great. However, there is a Grant Request item in the left Nav bar that is VERY CONFUSING. This does not navigate to anything useful, it's a list of past grants, that is already available on the Grants nav page. Please remove this Nav item and simply toggle the Create Grant Request button on or off depending on the system settings for this.

  4. The check register export needs to include a Description from the voucher/grant. When I send the check register to committee members, they will ask why did I send a $ amount to a particular recipient. If the description is included, the distribution would be more clear.

For hardship assistance grants, these flow through the scholarship module but we would like for the accounting to not hit the default scholarship payable liability and scholarship expense accounts. Would like to see a liability and expense account added to the scholarship that can override the system defaults.

  7. When Bulk Updating profiles, there are four different files to bulk update the profiles with. When editing profiles, we usually need to update all four areas of the profile and this requires us to download and manipulate all four.

    Instead, it would be better if they were consolidated into a single file/sheet so we could update all of those fields in one go. This would make this process much less tedious and allow us to make one bulk edit, instead of four individual bulk edits.

  8. Grant Catalogs have request submission pages. The boxes for short and long descriptions need character limits. At this time, there is a stated character limit of 250 characters on the short description, and none on the long. We use 60 for the short, and 255 characters for the long, and have to edit down every request to fit these numbers. Either let us set the limits, or please set the limits for us.

When individuals unsubscribe from Mailchimp emails, it is impossible to discern if they want to unsubscribe just from marketing/ communication emails and who should just simply be marked "do not email". If Foundant could add choices on emails that indicates something to the effect of, "Marketing Emails" and/or "Foundation business" as boxes to check as options, similar to "mailing" or "inactive" for mailing addresses, that would be very helpful. Currently, if someone unsubscribes from a MailChimp blast, there is no way to realistically remove that person from marketing email blasts unless you go 1-by-1 and remove them from every campaign…

It's great that CSuite can now work with a Stripe credit card terminal, but it would be even better if a credit card transaction could be processed through the terminal without needing to be logged into CSuite. We have fundholders who hold events where they accept credit card payments; however, we will not provide them with access to CSuite so they wouldn't be able to use the new Stripe terminal. If the terminal could be used to record payments that would come through to CSuite from our Stripe account and allow Foundation staff to process after an event, that would…

  11. It would be very helpful for there to be click by click data displayed on grant logs for fund advisor activity. For example, if a fund advisor enters into their portal and requests a grant, having a click by click log of what process they took to request that grant (i.e. which search function they used or if they copied a previous grant). This would provide larger insight to the user experience in the portal and insight to grant requests.

  14. I get lots of emails from Community Suite when someone includes me on a Note, or creates a Voucher for a fund I'm an approver on. Clicking on the link in those emails involves a 3 step process:
    1. Link takes me to the login page for our CS instance.
    2. After logging in successfully, I'm taken to our dashboard.
    3. But what about that original link? I need to go back to email and click it again, to go to the item in question.

  15. At the time of testing (1/27/2025) The "Continue Giving" option in the Giving Hub is awkwardly placed at the top of the shopping cart and checkout screens. It is easy to overlook and does not make it clear how to continue adding donations to your cart. I would like to reposition this element to the bottom of the fund list summary. Ideally the text could be editable as well, at least providing a short caption to explain if we cannot edit the language on the buttons or headers.

  18. We would like to have the name of the stock autofill in the "Description" field. Not the # of shares and ticker symbol as they have their own separate fields. We have to manually type in the Name of the Stock as we use it to populate on our tax receipt letters.

  20. When a donor makes a tribute gift online via Stripe and does not elect to notify someone, all available template fields begin with capitalized "In Honor/Memory of MB". There is no option for "MB" (honoree name only) or "in honor of MB" (lower case "i" and "h/m").

    This makes things difficult for us because we want to mention the tribute in the automatically system-generated acknowledgement letter back to the donor, and it looks awkward with the capitalization.

    Would it be possible to add at least one template field with either the honoree name only OR lower case "in honor of"?…
