  1. It is fantastic we can now just use "Save" in custom reports to save updates to an established report. It would be mind blowing if we could also have the option to EDIT the report to update the description, the shared toggle or even the name without using "Save As" and deleting the older report.

  2. It would be great if we had the option to view all notes for a household and any member profiles in one location. We can make a custom report for this but it involves using a filter. It would be easier for all users if there was an option to view all notes while on the Household profile.

  3. It would be helpful to 1. choose the grants for which you do not want grant letters automatically generated and 2. review/edit the letters before they are automatically uploaded to the grant record.

    Not all grants utilize the grant letters feature. We need the ability to use the feature for some grants but not all of them. Also, some grant letters need to be customized or revised before they go to the grant record.

  4. With the new profile updates, Add Opportunity is now under Relationships. Opportunities are an engagement strategy, not a link to another profile. Please either keep Add Opportunity on the left menu for all tabs or put it under the Engagement Tab. Please put Opportunities under the Engagement Tab.

  5. Add Contact First and Last Name as field options for year end tax receipt templates. It would be nice to add the name of an organization's primary contact (which we add to org's first and last name, plus first name in the Salutation) so when sending tax receipt letters for our annual giving day, we don't have to edit the PDF to include the names (I've already voted that these export to Word files).   6. The observation of not being able to save a backdated maturity date for a Term Investment doesn’t make sense. When modifying all the term investments to make it easier to maintain in Foundant, I didn’t have an issue with the majority that I had to backdate.

    For the term investments that don’t have an edit option for the maturity date, this will not work in the future. I need to be able to always have the ability to edit the term investment if something comes up, it can’t only ever be edited once. That is just not possible/doable. I’ve found…

  7. Term Investments - have defaults for revenue accounts, borrowing fund, asset accounts pre populated as these are always the same.

  8. In the old saying, "a picture says a thousand words", could pie and/or bar charts be available in the following areas:

    Balance sheet - Cash and Investments, by GL account number, be shown in a pie chart.

    Statement of Activity - Investment income items, interest income, dividend income, realized gains (losses), unrealized gains (losses) be shown by month in bar chart

    Statement of Activity - Donations/Gifts, Grants actual compared to budget be shown in a bar chart.

  10. Is there a way to have an area that shows all the tickets that still need guest information filled out?

    This isn't a huge issue on a small scale, but we have a larger event, it may be tedious to go through all the profiles and make sure they have their guest info filled out.

  11. It would be great to have an optional pronoun field on donation forms, so those donating online can self-select their preferred pronouns. This would help with donor relations and making sure future communications with donors are informed and respectful.

  12. On the screen where checks are approved, it would be nice to have a batch total. We make most payments by ACH in batches and it would be a good control to be able to quickly tie the batch total in C Suite to the ACH batch in our bank portal.

  13. Before a recent update the system would flag you if you put in a duplicate name or address when creating a new profile. Now the system allows for a duplicate and it's not showing under duplicates on the left side tab. We see it under the engagments tab, but it needs to be brought back out to the left side tab so that all duplicates can be managed at one time, not have to search for them one by one.

  14. In Cash Management - Balance Swap - Add Filter, when you select "From Account" and then checkboxes, the check list that appears includes accounts that are closed (which for us is a lot). It makes no sense that closed accounts would be showing here. It should only show open/active accounts.

  17. Looking for a way to collect donations from donors who don't want to write a check or use a credit card (use ApplePay, PayPal, Venmo, etc).   18. Can we have an option to turn off the "include credit card fees" box for the cart on the Event Tickets tab only? We want it for our Donate To a Fund" tab, but when it comes to Events, we find that if we have an event price=event value (there isn't a donation component in the event price), then if someone includes the option to cover the credit card fees, then an automatic donation letter for the credit card fee amount (less than $2.00) is sent to the even ticket purchaser.   20. We would like to see a permission setting that would allow users with that permission to view the full Account number entered into ACH Settings. Today, our only option is to Configure the settings or Clear the Settings.
