  1. It would be very helpful to have Foundant flag groups deemed as hate groups, and/or extremist groups by using some type of source to notify users that this organization has been flagged when trying to create a grantee profile with a particular EIN, or doing the charity check in GuideStar.

  3. Ability to link (preferably automatically) the credit card fees associated with a campaign ticket purchase to the campaign on the statement of activities.

    This would provide more complete financial data related to a specific campaign/event

  4. We are continuing to have problems with Fund Advisors telling us that they are not receiving system-generated emails from us. We believe this is because the name and the email address do not match. That is, our organization's name is in the sender name but the domain in the email address is fcsuite.com.

    Has there been any discussion to investigate the possibility of changing "no-reply@fcsuite.com" to what is entered in the "Default Email Reply To" setting in Systems Data?

    We believe this would pass more smoothly through spam filters.

  5. Can you add the Profile Fund Categories to the Fund Advisor Fund Custom Report? We establish tab settings based on the profile fund category.

    We have been unable to find any other report that combines the tabs with the profile fund categories, fund advisors and fund information.

  6. Create a Board portal. A place to put documents, ByLaws, minutes, agendas, governance documents etc. Board would login here to retrieve documents for meetings instead of email and re-emailing with changes.

  7. Auto populate the 990 newly created tax class field using Charity Check but allow for manual overrides..

    See the implimented tax class implientation below:

    This functionality was released on December 1st, 2021. Added a 990 report for Grants to Individuals. Grantee's that are individuals will be included in this report. Enhanced the 990 export to include the IRC Section Code and Grant Purpose. The IRC Section Code will be populated from the new Tax Class field that is user defined in Profile Types.

  9. We would like to link the profile of the Professional Advisor and/or Firm who brought a donor to our organization within the Opportunity. Currently we are using a Custom Field (Text) but would like the ability to link the opportunity directly to the profile of the referral source.

  10. On an organizational profile record, the static fields "Contact" and "Contact Title" allow you to type in a name and title, which then populate the address blocks on that record. Those fields appear on check letter and grant letter templates.
    There is also an option to select an individual which is linked to the organization as a "Primary Org Contact". That selection makes a dynamic link to the individual. However, "Primary Org Contact" is not an available merge field on any template.

    It would be ideal to have that dynamic, linked indication available as a merge field or (even better!)…

  11. Thank you for adding Tasks to individual Profiles! Can you please make ALL TASKS visible on a profile regardless of who created or the assigned person? It's helpful to see all past due/current/future tasks on a profile regardless of who they are assigned to.

  12. For those funds that specify a dollar distribution (ex: $6,000/year), it would be nice to have the ability to create and apply that distribution type. I understand it can be modified during review but could be easily missed, particularly by newer staff. If there's a good work around I'd appreciate suggestions.

  13. We are looking for a third party "wealth search" software to integrate with CSuite. iWave, DonorSearch and WealthEngine do not integrate with CSuite. Please partner with a third party for this type of software.

  14. It would be highly beneficial for the Audit Details export information to be available prior to posting distributions. Without posting distributions first, the quarter ending values used to calculate distributions are not available. This makes it difficult to compare year over year data to ensure accuracy. Having the quarter ending values used in the distribution calculations prior to posting distributions would negate the need to run all distributions in Sandbox first. We discovered 2 errors in cSuite calculations due to posting in the sandbox where cSuite was not calculating QEV correctly. Access to these values first is paramount to quality…

  15. "Microsoft Word 97 - 2003" file format is not compatible with Microsoft SharePoint. In this file format, you can’t use the “autosave” function, and multiple people are not able to collaborate in the document concurrently. Updating format to "Microsoft Word Document" will likely improve user workflows.

    (Same with Word and Excel files in GLM/SLM. Will post idea there too)

  17. We would really love to have a bulk edit option for the payment schedule date and bulk edit date. To offer some context from an accounting perspective, the concern is that the grant date and edit payment schedule dates are different especially when grants are entered or submitted on a certain date but are needing to be paid on a schedule, typically a Friday for us. The grant date is what drives the date the expense is posted to the GL. We have had to manually update the payment schedule date and the grant date for each grant since there…

  18. In an effort to keep us from changing a field that is outward facing PLEASE color code them all a certain color. It is difficult for us to keep track of which fields have an effect on the portals. Having them all a certain color would keep us from changing them unintentionally.

  20. It would be helpful if we could enter multiple contacts for an organization based on the inquiry (director, grants, treasurer, etc.). As of now, we either have to put additional contacts in a note or create multiple profiles for the same organization in order to have multiple contacts.
