  2. It would HUGELY helpful for us to have more than 250 characters in the grant description field on grants for longer descriptions and details that the grantee needs to receive without having to create multiple custom fields on the fund or profile to pull into the letter.

    We share our designated scholarship criteria in this way, and those can be anywhere between 1000-3000 characters.

  3. Could you allow a different credit card tax receipt template for an individual fund, which is hosting an event and thus needs a template that says only a certain portion of their donation is considered tax deductible? Or, alternatively, allow us to turn off the automated credit card tax receipt for that particular fund? Right now it is an all the same or nothing option for credit card tax receipts.

Our world has moved to paperless tickets, it would be awesome when people purchase an online ticket for a fundraising event, they can receive a receipt that has a QR code they can save on their phone and can be scanned at the door when they check-in. Like they have for concerts/ball games. It would be nice if there was a platform then to scan those tickets and the system can record that they are checked in on Csuite.   5. I asked about this last year, but posting fresh again to maybe get back on radar. If you want us to use your platform for sending emails and keeping track of correspondence, we need to look professional when doing it. Sending an email in Courier with no signature or logo won't cut it.

    A rich text editor was released on 9/12/2024. Here is the release note:

    Site: Added Rich Text Editor to the email creation areas for Profiles, Grant and Scholarship documents, Invoices, grant_letter_email_body content area and Grant Catalog.

  6. It would help to streamline workflow if we could edit the Share File option in the Upload File(s) window, instead of having to upload the file and then scroll down on the Fund ID and then select the option to share the file.

  7. It would be great to be able to choose more than one donation type to charge an Admin Fee to. I have an Admin Fee for 2.5% on each donation that comes into the fund. But it does not pick up internal donations or stock donations. I had to add two more Admin Fee Types to get this done, rather than being able to choose all three from a drop down list.

  8. Is there a way to keep AP voucher line details in the order I enter them? If I have a large invoice and have entered numerous lines, save and then go back in, everything has changed from the order I entered data. Makes it incredibly hard to double check anything. Why does it change order? It doesn't go by alpha or dollar amount, doesn't seem to have any rhyme or reason. Please fix this. Thank you.

  9. Provide the option to filters to include subfunds if the master fund is not included. At a minimum, provide a warning that the filter is incorrect if a user chose to filter on a subfund and does not include the master fund.

    The Financial reports (Balance sheet and income statement) have been changed so the user can no longer filter on specific funds if the fund is tied to a master fund. When creating a filter, it is impossible to tell if a fund has a master fund.

  12. We are continuing to have problems with Fund Advisors telling us that they are not receiving system-generated emails from us. We believe this is because the name and the email address do not match. That is, our organization's name is in the sender name but the domain in the email address is fcsuite.com.

    Has there been any discussion to investigate the possibility of changing "no-reply@fcsuite.com" to what is entered in the "Default Email Reply To" setting in Systems Data?

    We believe this would pass more smoothly through spam filters.

  13. It's pretty frustrating for folks to have to remember all their passwords across C Suite / GLM / SLM / Compass and Idea Lab. Especially when they don't all update on the same schedule. Would be great to have some synching of the platforms.

  14. It would be nice to have a feature to sync attachments in GLM &/or CSuite over to the other rather than having to attach in both places. Ideally, we would be able to pick which attachments we want to sync over. For Community Grants, we start our process in GLM so we start attachments here and then sync to CSuite for final processing. For Donor Advised/Designated Granting we start in CSuite and include attachments here then sync over to GLM for tracking purposes.

  17. We allow many people to get into Profile Types. That’s an easy way to view and export profiles based on the assigned type. Once we give someone the Profile Type permission, they can get in there. So far so good. Then there’s permissions for Archive Profile Type and Delete Profile Type. However, those permissions are surprisingly narrowly defined to just the Profile Types. Nothing applies to Profile Fund Categories, Address Types, Email Types and Genders. So anyone who has the Profile Type permission can fully delete any of those, which is not good. And anyone can create any type and…

  18. We need the option to filter to show only DAF gifts and grants. The current report shows all donations. We are also required in Schedule D to show only DAF donations and grants. This cannot be accomplished with the 990 Report.

  19. When you offer a meal choice in a campaign, we would like to see registering guests only have the choice to make one meal selection and the meal selection should be mandatory. Currently, it appears guests can select more than one meal choice or they can completely skip that step and still register.

  20. For audit purposes, it would be helpful to be able to change a fund group type at a point in time instead of changing all of history. We have memorial funds that come in as "Unrestricted" but turn into restricted scholarship funds (or others). When we change the fund group it changes the data for all of time which makes our ending balances for PY not match beginning balances in terms of audit categories.

    Right now we are closing the memorial funds completely and opening a new scholarship fund but this has us lose the donor/donation history for the fund.
