  1. Some donors have committed to attending an event, and we would like the ability to attach event tickets to a promise (with no finance involvement). We cannot use a pledge, as some commitments are paid in various ways and require complex financial processing to adjust and apply payments. Using a promise will enable us to reserve the tickets until payment is applied. This approach will also allow us to present the reserved seats and the remaining balance.

  2. Allow Custom Fields to help select a tax receipt template. For example, we have a custom field to indicate if a certain tax receipt should be tied to a fund. It would be great if when we change that field, the tax receipt template is then also updated. I know there is functionality to include funds to templates based on their group, subgroup, segment and division but those are fields already used that don't apply to how we want to differentiate our templates.

  3. Right now, if you add profile groups from the campaign directly, or from a report, you get four option buttons for how to add them (see attached screenshots). If you add profiles to a campaign from some other part of CSuite, such as a search and filtered group, for some odd reason it only gives you two of those options instead of all four. Why? That doesn't make any sense. Can you please change the system so that all four of those options come up wherever you add profiles from to a campaign? Thank you.

  4. Please add the ability to dedupe by address and also by "similar" name. Right now, the dedupe feature will not allow us to dedupe by address. That needs to be added. Also, the majority of dupes in organizations systems are not there because the are exact matches, they are there because of small differences. Such as Robert vs Bob Smith or 106 10th Avenue vs 106 Tenth Ave. I have worked with many other CRM's that could detect "similar profiles" (i.e. the name is slightly different but the address is the same, etc.) and offer them up for suggestions for…

  5. A simple idea that would help us a lot is to have checkboxes for alerts of important dates such as birthdays, anniversaries, etc when creating profiles. A step better would be receiving an email with this alert . Would be much easier than setting a task for each date for every profile .

    You could create a report with a relative date filter that is sent to your email. That might help with this request!

  8. Can you PLEASE add an additional field to the securities section of the tax receipt? We need the Net Deposit Amount. We would also appreciate have the Fees as an option to pull onto our tax receipt. We would like to communicate to donors the amount that will show in their fund. Thanks so much.

  10. Currently when filtering on a field to to exclude something, it is also removing all fields that are null as well. For example on a donation report, when I put the filter on the field Donation Type ID so it is NOT "In-Kind", one of our options, then it will remove all "In-Kind" donations from my report as well as all donations without a Donation Type ID, which is every Stripe donation.

  12. I know that Login As was intended to bounce the user out of their own CSuite login when used; however, I would ask that you reconsider this approach. From a Customer Service perspective, this is a nightmare. We most often use Login As when on the phone with a Fund Advisor (and now could be anyone with portal access), to help them troubleshoot either getting into the system or working with the system. If we then have to answer any questions that require us to be logged into CSuite ourselves, the portal user has to wait while the customer service…

  13. When posting/approving grants, if there are no more grants to be reviewed, why do we have to then click to return to the grant you just approved? This extra step will really make a difference in Q4 when we're posting several hundred grants.

  15. Would really like to be able to process payroll through CommunitySuite, either by adding a payroll module to the system or by integrating CommunitySuite with a payroll solution so that would automatically push over the JEs they need to account for payroll each pay period.

  16. Have the ability to have certain tabs on the Fund Advisor Portal default to "Remove/Add from/To Everyone.

    We don't currently use the majority of the tabs and I have to remember to turn these tabs off when adding a fund advisor. It would be helpful to have these already default to "Remove from everyone" instead of individually edit.

  18. The charity check data (through Grant Connect) is only updated on a quarterly basis, which means that if a Charity looses their status, they won't fail the charity check until the next quarter. The data should be updated on a daily basis - not quarterly.

    At this time, Grant Connect receives a manual update from the CRA. It is not an API feed that can be updated daily.

  19. When Bulk Updating profiles, there are four different files to bulk update the profiles with. When editing profiles, we usually need to update all four areas of the profile and this requires us to download and manipulate all four.

    Instead, it would be better if they were consolidated into a single file/sheet so we could update all of those fields in one go. This would make this process much less tedious and allow us to make one bulk edit, instead of four individual bulk edits.

  20. When a user is on a Fund and selects History, it will list Total Grants with a dollar amount. We discovered that this total will include unposted grants and clicking the link for the backup list of grants does not include unposted grants. This is confusing and needs to be fixed.

    We'd rather Total Grants under Fund History did not include unposted grants in the total. Or if unposted grants are part of the total, at least include them in the linked report.
