  1. When running an admin fee report within a fund, it only includes fees that were charged in the quarterly process or done manually. It does not include transactional admin fees charged for each donation, grant, etc. in this report. This can make it difficult to get a complete picture of the fees charged to a fund. It would be ideal if this report included ALL admin fees charged to the fund. Thanks!

  2. Currently, we always have to unreconcile bank statements in order to make gift adjustments. That’s an unwieldy and problematic process. One proposed workaround is to make negative donations, but that requires 2 new gifts that have to go through a whole new creation/review process. What’s more concerning is that negative donations would be forever visible on the donor portal, as if we moved money from their fund. We really need a way to cleanly make gift adjustments.

  3. Currently the grant notification to grantees includes one default email and the option to manually add a second email notice. Is it possible to allow us to have a second default email load rather than adding manually. We have a number of grantees who have two people they want to receive a notice and it is not conducive to have to always remember to add the second person.

  4. When a donor with an existing profile makes an online donation, the receipt is sent to the donor's primary email on file rather than the one provided at checkout. Hoping this change can be prioritized as it could be problematic for many reasons.

  5. We noticed that we lost some of the profile filters when the update to campaigns occurred. We specifically are looking for the "invited to" filter where we could check past/current campaigns to add those profile lists to a new campaign. This is how we regularly build our mailing and event lists, and it was very convenient and easy for us to filter that way in one step. We were bummed to see that filter gone!

  6. The ability to schedule when spendable grants are to be made would be very helpful. We currently maintain a spreadsheet that lists funds, grantees, and timing of grants to know when to go "grant spendable" each year. Being able to set the date to be granted on the beneficiary would be most helpful. I'm thinking something along the lines of the recurring grants process.

  7. We would like to be able to add custom fields in Tasks. One data point we have tracked in Salesforce is whether an activity/task is a "quality contact". For example forwarding an event invitation might be a task, but forwarding a news story and including a special message that encourages someone to consider making a grant might be a "quality contact" task. We use "quality contacts" to measure our client relations team success. If we could add a check box to Tasks for "quality contacts" that would be great.

  8. For those funds that specify a dollar distribution (ex: $6,000/year), it would be nice to have the ability to create and apply that distribution type. I understand it can be modified during review but could be easily missed, particularly by newer staff. If there's a good work around I'd appreciate suggestions.

  9. We have multi payment and multi year interfund grants/donations that sometimes need to be canceled or reversed. Right now they cannot be canceled unless you pretend to pay it and the pretend to pay it back by the receiving fund. There should be the ability to reverse the unpaid Receivable/Payable without pretending to pay it.

  10. Add a 2nd screen after choosing 'Fund Advisors> Settings> List Cart> Send Email Reminder to allow for choosing which fund advisors to send the email reminder to. Currently, this is an all or nothing feature.

  11. In the new Fund Portal, users have expressed several issues with navigation and confusion because of a lack of information:

    1. When in a specific page on the fund portal, the tab is not highlighted, nor is the text emboldened, in the left-hand menu to reflect what page they are on.
    2. Add a logout button in the top menu options without clicking through to profile.
    3. Add customizable text options to the Profile page - we currently don't allow users to update their contact details while we are merging profiles on the back end. We want to add text to let them…

    Request #2 and #3 are complete. There is a content block that can be customized in Portal Options: Portal Options>Portal Content>Profile tab>portal_profile_header. The option to logout has been moved to the top menu next to change profile.


  12. A common issue when reporting is building multiple different types of custom reports to pull all necessary data. This splits the information across multiple reports and requires Excel knowledge to combine them together. Instead, it would be much better if there was a single report that had all of the most commonly used/reported fields.

    Most of the custom reports in CSuite contain many extraneous fields that are never even reported on. Given that trying to load every single one of the fields on a page would be difficult, let's ignore the unused and un-reported fields and include only the most…

  13. Greater Milwaukee would like a feature to create a new donation and new grant with Fund ID number in addition to Fund Name. We have many funds with the same exact name with no way to differentiate. This could mean money is donated to or granted out of the wrong fund.

  15. We have many donor advised funds with multiple advisors. There are often times when they want two or more advisors listed on the same grant. Is there a way to add this option? Otherwise we need to contact the grantee and let them know all of the advisors involved in a grant.

  16. I love the ability to archive campaigns and get them off the campaign list, but we would like to be able to continue to see some of the campaigns on profiles. We track programming participants through campaigns and we would like that history to remain easily visible on their profile.

    There is an option in the left side menu to list all campaigns.  Selecting that will bring up a filtered list of all campaigns for that profile.

  17. Before a recent update the system would flag you if you put in a duplicate name or address when creating a new profile. Now the system allows for a duplicate and it's not showing under duplicates on the left side tab. We see it under the engagments tab, but it needs to be brought back out to the left side tab so that all duplicates can be managed at one time, not have to search for them one by one.

  18. Note blocks take up too much space vertically. I think it would be better if the note block covered the screen horizontally with all the ID and date jargon on the top line followed by the note itself. Why is it so limited in the width of the box??? You would be able to see so much more if it went across the entire screen instead of only using 3 1/5 inches across the note block.

  19. We allow many people to get into Profile Types. That’s an easy way to view and export profiles based on the assigned type. Once we give someone the Profile Type permission, they can get in there. So far so good. Then there’s permissions for Archive Profile Type and Delete Profile Type. However, those permissions are surprisingly narrowly defined to just the Profile Types. Nothing applies to Profile Fund Categories, Address Types, Email Types and Genders. So anyone who has the Profile Type permission can fully delete any of those, which is not good. And anyone can create any type and…

  20. There should be a way to know that a grantee is set up to receive ACH payments while you are entering the grant. Right now I have to go all the way back to the profile to see if they are ACH. This would help when choosing what letter template to use.
