  1. Please consider assigning a grant letter template through the Fund profile. Looking at the fund profile for the name of the grant letter template is so much more efficient than going back to the Template listing and scrolling down to find the fund and their assigned grant letter template.

  2. As the legacy portal end date nears, we continue to be bothered by the fact that the "Manage Login Info" and the "Login As" permissions are combined for the new portal, especially as it relates to Fund Advisors.

    For our operation, the same people who support fund advisors through the Login As feature are NOT the same people who Edit the fund advisors' login, NOR manage a fund advisor's password (set or change), NOR Link an Organization or Individual to the Fund Advisor.

    We require these permissions to be separated.

  4. Please add the ability to dedupe by address and also by "similar" name. Right now, the dedupe feature will not allow us to dedupe by address. That needs to be added. Also, the majority of dupes in organizations systems are not there because the are exact matches, they are there because of small differences. Such as Robert vs Bob Smith or 106 10th Avenue vs 106 Tenth Ave. I have worked with many other CRM's that could detect "similar profiles" (i.e. the name is slightly different but the address is the same, etc.) and offer them up for suggestions for…

  5. It would be amazing to have the ability to set up department codes as an optional field that can be selected on each line item when entering a voucher, and thus show up when looking at the GL detail for each expense item.

    We have started doing our budget to actual reporting internally by department and some accounts are used by multiple departments. This would be a huge help!

  6. Currently only one person can be assigned to a Stripe Terminal and therefore is the only person that can process payments. We hold multiple events where different staff members will need access. Please add the option of multiple users per terminal. There could be a check box list of all users for our foundation and we could select which ones could have access. Thank you!

  7. Revenue Share for Deposits

    We get interest income from impact investments which are in our investment pool. We would like to be able to revenue share these deposits rather than do a negative voucher to allocate the interest income.

  8. I would really like the Additional Information section to come BEFORE the Tribute Information section.

    And I would like the "Needs tax receipt" to be right under or above the "Receipt Template". Not all the way down the page by itself.

    We use the Additional Information section on EVERY gift and only use the Tribute Information section on a few gifts.

  9. A potential fundholder wants to get a tour of our portal ahead of deciding whether to open his fund with our community foundation. Is there a way to give him a tour of our white-labeled portal without showing him another person’s donor-advised fund data?

    Just like Foundant, or any other software company, community foundations need the ability to walk a potential fundholder through the UX of the system as part of their cultivation efforts to open new funds.

Currently, Manual Fund Statements can be created to include days that are outside of the closed period -- This has caused issues for Fund Advisors when they (through the portal) create a manual fund statement. They are including periods that the foundation has not closed, and it is leading to confusion.

    Ask:
    Can there be a warning associated with the Manual Fund Statements to alert a Fund Advisor that the time period they've selected is not within a closed period and therefore the information may not be accurate?

  14. Create option to generate yearly tax receipts via a template (like we can with Fund Statements) that we can add to the portal in either Statements or Files. Currently donors can see and print their receipts individually, but not a yearly tax receipt. A yearly tax receipt on the portal would be an great addition!

  17. Please bring over the date of the email when the Foundant add-in is used to copy an email to a note in CSuite from Outlook. Currently the note date is the date the email is copied (even if that is not the day the email was sent/received), and the original email send date is not recorded anywhere in the body of the CSuite note.

  18. In CSuite: Allow Foundation staff to HIDE organizations from donors in the portal. (Eg: The Ohio State University – Scholarships)
    * Allows Scholarship orgs to be ACTIVE, and allows them to be paid directly from CSuite without going into SLM
    * Reduces the possibility that a donor will send a check to the Bursar.
    *Offers Foundation's the option to manage unsuitable nonprofit organizations, while investigating concerns.
    *Marking the grantee INACTIVE is NOT manageable in our workflow.

  19. First of all, THANK YOU for creating the profile type directory! I was super excited to find out it existed while at Summit. I would love for you to expand the capacity of it and make it similar in function to the Nonprofit Directory with the ability to decide what information to share--even if it was in the setup and not particular to one person/organization. For example, I would love to be able to share a person's name, title, workplace and address in addition to the phone and email. I appreciate you Chris and team!!

  20. HELP - VOTE FOR THIS! Multifund vouchers are unable to be copied in CSuite. When you copy it will only copy the first one, so these will need to be made from scratch each time. Csuite doesn't have the functionality to fully copy a multifund voucher. So, those monthly employee-benefit breakdowns have to be done from scratch every time!!!
