  1. Have the log show the name, ID and date whenever a profile is deleted. Our admin needs an audit trail of all MAC (move, add, change) activities in the log.

  2. We noticed on the Legacy Portal that the Fund Steward email address is a hyperlink but on the Fund Advisor portal, it is not. Was wondering if that is something you can enable?

  3. We'd like to see a field on the main page of the donor profile that allows us to enter donor biographies (2-3 sentences), we'd like it to be a field that will pull into reports. This is a feature Blackbaud offers and is so nice when pulling a donor report for staff, board, and volunteers to prepare them for donor engagement.

  4. When profiles are marked as deceased and linked to a household, the household is being pulled with the deceased information instead of now defaulting to the active individual profile only. This impacts mailing lists for marketing campaigns and grant letters as it now pulls in deceased households.

    There should be an automatic unlinking/adjustment so that we do not have to manually unlink which is the only workaround to solve this issue right now. Ideally, there would be a way to keep the individual linked to the household profile for historical purposes too.

  5. It would be extremely helpful if we could import updates & new items for funds, especially related to our Giving Hub portal. These would include descriptions and images. Manually adding these fields, one by one, is time-consuming, and we’d like to make our Giving Hub experience as rich as possible for our donors. Can an import feature be added for funds?

  6. We would love to have a minimum grant request option for the portal but its done by fund groups. For example: DAF's minimum grant is $500 but maybe and Org Endowed is $100. We adopted a policy that requires all DAF grants to be over $500. However, if we set that as the grant request minimum for the portal it will cause issues for some of our small organizational endowed funds who maybe don't have $500 in ATS in any given year.

  7. When you setup a campaign event you are not allowed to suppress the automated online donation tax receipt. So the donor receives the campaign event tax receipt and the online donation tax receipt. It would be helpful if foundant could add a check box to suppress the automated online donations tax receipt letter for campaigns without affecting all online donations.

  9. Note blocks take up too much space vertically. I think it would be better if the note block covered the screen horizontally with all the ID and date jargon on the top line followed by the note itself. Why is it so limited in the width of the box??? You would be able to see so much more if it went across the entire screen instead of only using 3 1/5 inches across the note block.

  10. It would be very helpful to have Foundant flag groups deemed as hate groups, and/or extremist groups by using some type of source to notify users that this organization has been flagged when trying to create a grantee profile with a particular EIN, or doing the charity check in GuideStar.

  11. It would be nice to have the availability to bulk update/import/delete all fields on a record (profile, gift, grant, fund, etc)

    Because of the volume of each of those items in a database it become tedious and tiresome to do some of the most simple and routine task.

  12. Could you all add more customization options for colors? I've been able to edit a lot using CSS, but I know that isn't an option for most people. Here are colors that I've manually modified or am working on finding the code to modify to match our branding:

    • Underscore on the current tab in the top menu (Giving Hub and Portal) that lists profile/funds/logout (portal) or funds/campaigns/grant catalog (giving hub)
    • Background color behind login form
    • Selection color for dropdown/fund changer in fund portal (and background color - if you set the background to anything other than white, it affects the…

  13. Currently, my Dashboard defaults to a rolling 12 month period. I just want data related to the current financial year. Every time I open the Dashboard, I have to edit the Start/End dates.
    It would be great to have a default setting for this!!

  14. Once a donor has given through the Giving Hub page, there is a default Thank You that appears (1A in image attached)- we would like to be able to edit & format, and/or hide this.

    On this same page display, the Continue Giving button (1B in attached image) is plopped right down onto the edge of the footer, and it looks terrible. Would also like the ability to add a margin to this or otherwise move/change this button!

  15. In the new portal there is an option to rename the Grant Request left navigation menu tab, which is great. However, the persistent Create Grant Request button on the top left is not something to rename. So if we want to rename the left navigation to "Recommend a Grant" which is the language our fund advisors are used to seeing, the language of Create Grant Request is not consistent. So, regardless of the option to customize the tab name, because the button is fixed we are going to be restricted to naming it consistent to the button. If we can…

  16. Allow for the option to add 'all emails' or just 'primary emails' from a report to a Campaign. When there is more than one email on a profile, we want the ability to add them all to an email campaign.

  18. It would be nice to have a field enabling the creation of a formula that checks whether the grant advisor is part of a household or not in the Grant Letter template. If yes, it will pull the household label instead of the individual advisor label field.

  19. In the old saying, "a picture says a thousand words", could pie and/or bar charts be available in the following areas:

    Balance sheet - Cash and Investments, by GL account number, be shown in a pie chart.

    Statement of Activity - Investment income items, interest income, dividend income, realized gains (losses), unrealized gains (losses) be shown by month in bar chart

    Statement of Activity - Donations/Gifts, Grants actual compared to budget be shown in a bar chart.

  20. We want to see items that do not have a file attached....specifically vouchers. We want to verify that all vouchers had documentation attached to it before discarding the paper we have. At this time, it appears a Files report only will show you items that do have a file attached but not the opposite of not having an attachment. A "null" option for files would be helpful to see those items that are missing documentation.
