  1. We love the bulk update functions in custom reports for grants. It would be incredibly helpful to have the option to bulk upload IDs and then gain access to the bulk options for grants.

    For example, we are tracking grants for Hurricane Helene, which requires pulling reports and sorting in excel. It would be worlds more efficient if we could bulk upload grant IDs to mark the custom fields on these grants at once (vs. going one at a time, incredibly time consuming during a challenging time in our state).

  2. Grant Catalogs have request submission pages. The boxes for short and long descriptions need character limits. At this time, there is a stated character limit of 250 characters on the short description, and none on the long. We use 60 for the short, and 255 characters for the long, and have to edit down every request to fit these numbers. Either let us set the limits, or please set the limits for us.

  4. I asked about this last year, but posting fresh again to maybe get back on radar. If you want us to use your platform for sending emails and keeping track of correspondence, we need to look professional when doing it. Sending an email in Courier with no signature or logo won't cut it.

    A rich text editor was released on 9/12/2024. Here is the release note:

    Site: Added Rich Text Editor to the email creation areas for Profiles, Grant and Scholarship documents, Invoices, grant_letter_email_body content area and Grant Catalog.

  5. Please consider adding the ability for us to check/uncheck a fund advisor who is associated with a fund of an event campaign, so that fund advisor can see who has purchased tickets.

  6. It would really be helpful if Tribute was an available field in the Donation Content area, Online Donation Email Body. We had a case where a series of online donations were made to a fund, all with the same description and amount, but honoring different people each time. What the fund advisor receives are multiple emails, all looking identical, since the Tribute field isn’t available to show why they are different. If we could add the Tribute field to the content area this would be much clearer for the fund advisors.

  7. Allow additional information to be gathered when people are registering for events. Information such as dietary needs, guest age, consenting to/ understanding guidelines, etc. would be handy.

  8. While the updates to the menu and profile layouts for CSuite are exciting, it is really hard to look at now. I am in my thirties and I have a hard time reading the screen. Is there a possibility of making the CSuite page more UI-friendly? It's just so hard to look at and I use CSuite for like 80% of the day. I don't want my eye sight to fade away this early in my life.

  9. When an affiliate logs into the portal and submits grant requests, the "cart" button does not appear for them. They must go to the left hand navigation to navigate to the Grant Requests page where the grants are in the cart. It would make more sense for them to have the same "cart" button appear like other funds.

  10. While it’s great that we can now add a secondary assignee to an opportunity, it doesn’t add much value if the secondary assignee isn’t notified or made aware of their designation. At the very least, it would be helpful if they received an alert letting them know they’ve been added, but ideally those opportunities would also appear on their “My Open” page so they can easily keep track of them.

  11. Currently, it doesn't appear that you can add a deceased individual as a donation advisor. This creates issues when someone gives us money through their estate. The donor will usually be "the estate of" or a trust associated with the original donor. But we cannot add the deceased individual. That means we won't be able to see a donor's total giving history even if they made clear their intentions during their lifetime.

  12. One Big Beautiful Bill includes a new above-the-line charitable deduction for non-itemizers that goes into effect 1/1/26 which specifically excludes DAFs. Between now and then, we need Foundant to offer a solution for noting which funds are DAFs in the Giving Hub, so donors know whether their gift is actually going to be tax deductible for them. Possibly "Group" and/or "Donor Advised Y/N" could become visible.

    NOTE: This is a customer service issue that will impact ALL Foundant clients that sponsor DAFs and use the Giving Hub.

  13. I have recently been surprised by some new implementations/announcements that are very disruptive to my work (specifically, the change in the fund search function and the announcement that there will now be a Donate button next to the grant request button in the advisor portal). Can there be a more democratic process for the ideas that get implemented? Currently it seems that the process is to get some/lots of votes in Idea Lab or to be an "important" person/organization and get your wishes granted.

    At the very least, can we have a downvote option in Idea Lab so we can…

  14. We would love the ability to bulk update tasks. I am looking at a report with unique IDs and 150 tasks to manually reassign to a current staff person.

    I see this idea was proposed previously and archived, so I'm posting fresh to hopefully gain some new interest in this idea. Thanks!

  15. Since we are able to run income statements for Campaigns, it would be nice to create a budget as well. We hold events and use this option and each event usually has their own budget. - I know you archived but this is extremely IMPORTANT.

  16. Allow a new column under a grantee profile's Email section when you can select one or multiple profiles to be the Award Letter Recipient.

    Currently when Award Letters are submitted in bulk it goes only to the Primary email address for the organization. Many times an alternative email at the organization need to receive the Award Letter, and other emails need to be copied such as the Accounting or Accounts Receivable departments.

When sharing direct links to pages within the Giving Hub, there are no defined metatags (og:title, og:image, og:description) which means the link preview in social media sites (or other places it's shared digitally, i.e. new Outlook) is empty/blank. This is not optimal for marketing purposes and particularly when we'd like donors/orgs to share direct links to donate pages and/or to campaigns.

    The same is true of the landing pages for each section of the Giving Hub.

    We could, I suppose, create a page on our org's native website "news" feed to correspond to each campaign for the purposes of social…

We recently sent out our yearly tax receipts (we call them Annual Donation Summaries) and when these are emailed in Bulk, there is no option to add an email Subject or Body and no option to update the PDF file name. Technically, they aren't tax receipts but a summary of the donations and tax receipts the donors received the previous year. We would like to see the following updates:
    1) Ability to update email subject and body for bulk emails (this functionality exists when sending them individually)
    2) Ability to rename the merged PDF documents before printing/emailing

  20. An option for an online silent auction including a way to add photos of the item and logos of donating business. Include a payment link for the winners.
    Basically, the same function as a site like Givergy but all built in to this system.
