  1. In the new Fund Portal, users have expressed several issues with navigation and confusion because of a lack of information:

    1. When in a specific page on the fund portal, the tab is not highlighted, nor is the text emboldened, in the left-hand menu to reflect what page they are on.
    2. Add a logout button in the top menu options without clicking through to profile.
    3. Add customizable text options to the Profile page - we currently don't allow users to update their contact details while we are merging profiles on the back end. We want to add text to let them…

  2. When the profile of a Nonprofit Organization is edited, it would be awesome to have some sort of reminder that there is a Nonprofit profile associated with it that may also need to be updated. For example, if an organization profile has a new primary contact and it is also tagged as a nonprofit, most of the time that means the Nonprofit profile primary contact also needs changed, since they are not linked.

  3. I would like to see the design and position of the "Logout" button to be changed within Csuite so it's easily distinguished from "Portal," "Reports" and the other menu options.

    Most user interfaces have the logout option at one corner of a page and usually the font or design is different so it's not mistaken for another menu option. After the update adding the "Portal" option to the menu bar at the top of CSuite, I find myself sometimes misclicking and accidentally logging myself out.

  4. Currently, there are two tabs in the Fund Advisor portion of the portal that seem redundant - Grants and Grant Requests. In the old portal, those two had separate functions. "Grants" listed all grant history, etc. and "Grant Requests" allowed those who had permission to request a grant. In the new portal, the two tabs seem redundant due to the new Create Grant Request button that shows on every tab. The only portion I can see on the Grant Requests tab that is unique is grant requests that need approval. Could all grant information be moved to the Grants Tab…

  5. A new release has changed my scholarship list to include closed funds and designated scheduled funds. It would make my workflow easier if it could go back to just the list of scholarships that I use instead of having to add filters.

  6. We would love the ability to enable/disable donor information (name, address, email) for each fund portal/fund advisor on a case-by-case basis (verse turning it on/off by type). While in most cases it is not necessary, we have support several unique fundraising efforts throughout the community where this would be a valuable addition to the donor services we are able to provide for our admin. fee. Ultimately, fund type is not what dictates who we may or may not want to provide this level of information to.

  7. The users should be able to identify the date range that they want to see the Grant History or Donation History for, and to be able to export the results of that date range. We have users who only want the past year or past quarter results to download and right now they are not able to self-serve this way. We have to provide a specific report to them. The new portal should allow users to identify date ranges for the information they need.

  8. In the Onlinedonationemail_body section, I am not able to send emails that address the donor by name because there are no available fields to pull.

    So, for quite some time, I was sending emails addressed to "Dear {name}" - silly me! It would be great if that field actually worked and I could address my donors by name. We are doing all that we can to build relationships and names are important! For now, I'll have to go "generic", which really isn't fundraising best practice.

  9. It would be helpful to have a checkbox on grants to control whether the grant affects the spendable balance or not. Of course, the default behavior should be for the grant to decrease the spendable balance of the fund. Occasionally, we have grants that should not affect the spendable balance of the fund, and currently, we need to perform a manual adjustment for these grants. It would be useful to introduce a new checkbox in the grant creation process, labeled something like "Does not affect spendable balance". This checkbox should be unchecked by default, allowing the grant to impact the…

  10. I marked an email inactive and then updated the current email as Primary. When I go into the email function from the left menu bar, I still have the Inactive email address as the first option in the email dropdown. What is the point if having an email marked Inactive, if it still shows up in the functionality? And, the user has to go back to the profile to determine which one is the Primary/active one. At the very least, can you mark the inactive email with "Inactive" ?

  11. Greater Milwaukee has enabled Donation Review in donation settings. They would like the option to exclude stripe gifts from needing the additional review. Because Stripe gifts are automatic, there is no need for them to be in the regular review process. Having to filter and approve all of the Stripe gifts is just an extra step that doesn’t add any value.

  12. CSuite is not logging anything that happens on the “Edit Pay Schedule” page (….\grant\schedule?grant_id=xxxx) for a Grant record.

    Is there any way that you can capture changes to the payment lines on a grant that are made on the "Edit Payment Schedule" page and record them in the log file for the grant?

    Not sure how reasonable this request is, but right because changes are not captured, the log does not always line up with what is on the grant record for payment details.

We're planning to launch our nonprofit directory page soon, and in addition to a previous idea I added about being able to sort/filter the list by service area, I have a few other ideas for enhancing this area of CSuite. The nonprofit directory already seems to pull some information directly from the profile itself but this can be overridden by editing the nonprofit area which can be different from the profile information. I'd like to see an option to pull over information from the profile so updates on the profile are reflected in the directory. Or have the option to…

  14. It would be nice if the report information (name, number, report details, filters, etc.) could somehow be added to the csv export similar to how it is added when you export Audit Reports. Sometimes my team will run a report and just send me the csv file. It'd be nice if I could back track and more easily find which report their data is based of.

  18. Currently a user is able to delete a historical donation, there is NO pop up or confirmation to delete BEFORE the record is blown away! YIKES! Please add a confirmation similar to deleting a historical grant, thank you!

  19. Recently I added a new record of a woman who's pronouns were listed on her website as She/Ella because of her Mexican heritage. Foundant gave me an error message that it is an 'invalid' option. I thought this box allowed us to type any text but I was wrong. Can this box just be open text like other fields in Foundant? This would be more culturally and generally inclusive.

  20. The "Forgot Password" link on the login page only appears after a user has a failed login attempt - but it should be present on the login screen always.

    Many staff members know they've forgotten their password and thus don't even bother trying to log in. This leads to a significant number of calls to our internal helpdesk, and we always have to tell users "it's a dumb thing that Foundant does, but you'll need to have at least one failed login attempt and then you can reset your password."
