  1. It is fantastic we can now just use "Save" in custom reports to save updates to an established report. It would be mind blowing if we could also have the option to EDIT the report to update the description, the shared toggle or even the name without using "Save As" and deleting the older report.

  2. I'm not sure why support has asked me to post this on the Idea Lab since this was a function we used to have but is now it's missing on the left hand menu. It seems more of a support issue, but here goes.

    Today I had a situation where an incorrect cheque number was entered in a 2018 transaction. I can’t fix this because it goes back way too far. Normally what I do is click switch to electronic on the left hand menu and make a note on the reconciled printout of the cheque number.

  3. It would save a lot of time if you could search for a specific check by check number (A/P or Grant). Instead of having to scroll through pages of checks, being able to go straight to a specific check that you have the number for would save a lot of time! Especially since banks are having a lot of positive pay exceptions that have to be rechecked on a daily basis.

  4. We need to report on scholarship info such as target high school, field of interest, selection committee, etc. so can share with counselors, etc. Could do that with custom fields. The only scholarship custom fields are currently tied to the award, not the scholarship itself. Can't use fund custom fields because some funds have multiple scholarships. Currently managing all this in Excel.

  5. Thank you for adding Tasks to individual Profiles! Can you please make ALL TASKS visible on a profile regardless of who created or the assigned person? It's helpful to see all past due/current/future tasks on a profile regardless of who they are assigned to.

  6. Remove inactive users from the Assign To search box when creating a Task. When creating tasks inactive users are still listed as options to assign a task to which makes the list of users cluttered and can cause a task to be assigned to a former employee.

  7. I know Foundant has been focused on enhancing the donor portal experience for users. Is there any timeline by which you think there could be potential to redirect the logout button on the portal to the page of the organization’s choice? I’m thinking about this new private label portal that we’ve designed for one of our agencies. They really want to have the logout button direct to their logo homepage, and not the our logo page. Any sense for when you think that update could be feasibly scheduled?

  8. You can set a primary contact for an organization. But there is no way to pull that into a report. We prefer not to set the contact on the actual organization profile because it then prints that name on a check. There is no way to pull primary contact as a field in a report. It would be great if this was a reportable field so we can create effective and efficient contact lists.

  9. It would great if for ticketed events we had the option to require guest information or not. We often see individuals buy tickets but skip the part about adding their guests information. It becomes quite difficult the day of the event to know who is coming with that guest, especially if they do not arrive to the event at the same time and haven't been instructed by the ticket purchaser to mention they are they guest of so and so.

  10. Would like to see ticket purchasers and guests all in one spot. Currently, you can only see a list of ticket purchasers and the number of tickets they've purchased and then the "guests" of these ticket purchasers are in another area (guest list). Would be great to see the guests underneath the ticket purchaser, similar to how the campaign invitee list formats guests/household members (you have the invitee and then below them & to the right will list their guests or household profiles with their email info, all in one spot).

  11. I'm on a call with several scholarship managers, several of whom use foundant and we want to be able to communicate with students via text for reminding them about applications, followups, etc... What a difference that would make!

  12. Provide the option to filters to include subfunds if the master fund is not included. At a minimum, provide a warning that the filter is incorrect if a user chose to filter on a subfund and does not include the master fund.

    The Financial reports (Balance sheet and income statement) have been changed so the user can no longer filter on specific funds if the fund is tied to a master fund. When creating a filter, it is impossible to tell if a fund has a master fund.

    There is a potential for reports to be run providing incorrect data…

  13. When training new staff, we like to give them full permissions in the sandbox site so they can access everything and more easily see how their role fits in with other parts of our processes. However, every time we sync the sandbox site, these permissions are overwritten by our staff's more limited permissions in the live site. It would be great if there was a setting that would allow us to keep full permissions in the sandbox site even after syncing it. Thanks for considering!

  14. Currently we us Outlook 365 and the Outlook desktop program. When I create a task for myself and choose to send a calendar invite, outlook does not allow me to save to my calendar (on the desktop version OR the web version) This means its double duty to create a task so I can track in the CRM system AND then have to create my own calendar invite. This gets to be really redundant and time consuming. Would love a fix or a work around that is not sending my task to another employee to have to send back to…

  15. Currently, the report shows "void of check" in the description, but if it included the check number (or had a specific field for check number) that would be incredibly helpful. We currently need to run a void check report which lists all voids and cross reference, which isn't great.

  16. We would like to be able to filter the donation report by cumulative donations in a specified time frame. We send certain mailings to donors who have cumulatively donated $501+ per year (even if they've made multiple $100 donations to equal $501+) and right now the Donation Amount filter only filters those who have made a one time donation of $501+ or more. We also send certain mailings to donors who have made cumulative lifetime gifts of $10k+. There is no way to filter by this option to easily add to a Campaign.

  17. We would love the option of toggling donations and grants notifications BY THE FUND for fund advisors. We add designated funds for our designated fund recipients so they can see previous year's grants, BUT we don't want them to receive the grants notification email when the grant is made, since some funds benefit more than one organization.

  18. When moving a profile from 'inactive' to 'active', it is currently required to then click Clear 'do not mail', 'do not email', and 'do not call'. These steps do not remove 'inactive' from the address, email, and phone fields. It's then required to remove 'inactive' from these 3 fields. This should automatically happen when moving the profile from 'inactive' to 'active'.

  20. Right now, the "duplicates" tab only flags profiles with duplicate name, email address, or phone number. Could it also flag duplicate addresses? We have many donors who may use a slightly different name when donating (like putting in "Michael" for one donation but "Mike" for another, so it doesn't flag it as a duplicate profile). If the system also flagged duplicate addresses, it would hopefully catch more of those.
