  1. When fund advisors use the guide star search, when staff process the grants in the new bucket all they can see in the new grantee field is the name and that it was from guidestar search. Often times, even though the guidestar search was used, we actually already have the grantee in our system. Our grants manager has to make the new grantee, compare it to the one in our system, and if it already exists then delete the new profile, and change the grantee in the grant.   2. Add a 2nd screen after choosing 'Fund Advisors> Settings> List Cart> Send Email Reminder to allow for choosing which fund advisors to send the email reminder to. Currently, this is an all or nothing feature.

  3. In the new portal there is an option to rename the Grant Request left navigation menu tab, which is great. However, the persistent Create Grant Request button on the top left is not something to rename. So if we want to rename the left navigation to "Recommend a Grant" which is the language our fund advisors are used to seeing, the language of Create Grant Request is not consistent.   4. We would like to be able to add custom fields in Tasks. One data point we have tracked in Salesforce is whether an activity/task is a "quality contact". For example forwarding an event invitation might be a task, but forwarding a news story and including a special message that encourages someone to consider making a grant might be a "quality contact" task. We use "quality contacts" to measure our client relations team success. If we could add a check box to Tasks for "quality contacts" that would be great.

  6. After creating a custom report, it would be great if there was an option to edit the title/name of the report and save.

    Currently, the only way to change a report's name is to "Save As" and go back and delete the original report with the old title.

  7. When note text is output in reports it loses all carriage returns. This makes it rather difficult at times to read notes that have been laid out in a specific manner.

  8. On a scholarship record the name from the profile comes over as Last Name, Title, First name. We would like to have student names read first, last retaining the ability to sort alphabetically by last name. This causes problems with the award letter(see previous ideas) and with the check name when we use the student as the payee- it comes out as Last Name, First Name. Most banks don't take that so we need to fiddle with it in excel.

  9. When pulling the registrant list for an in-person events, it would be ideal to select the info and layout of the list, such as all registrants with guest info below, and organization info if the participant used their organization.
    As it is now, there is a lot of sifting necessary to narrow down the list to make an effective check in list.

  10. We're running into an issue with running year over year financials for February. The system is pulling 02/28/2025 and 02/28/2024, instead of 02/29/2024. We run quite a few comparative reports and we're having to manually manipulate the 2024 column. It would be great if the engineers could fix the coding so the system would pull the month end date, rather than a set date.

  12. Currently, my Dashboard defaults to a rolling 12 month period. I just want data related to the current financial year. Every time I open the Dashboard, I have to edit the Start/End dates.
    It would be great to have a default setting for this!!

  13. We'd like to see a field on the main page of the donor profile that allows us to enter donor biographies (2-3 sentences), we'd like it to be a field that will pull into reports. This is a feature Blackbaud offers and is so nice when pulling a donor report for staff, board, and volunteers to prepare them for donor engagement.

  14. When profiles are marked as deceased and linked to a household, the household is being pulled with the deceased information instead of now defaulting to the active individual profile only. This impacts mailing lists for marketing campaigns and grant letters as it now pulls in deceased households.

    There should be an automatic unlinking/adjustment so that we do not have to manually unlink which is the only workaround to solve this issue right now. Ideally, there would be a way to keep the individual linked to the household profile for historical purposes too.

  15. Our Communications team would like to be able to add photos and fund descriptions but we are very hesitant to give them full fund edit permission. Can you provide a new "Fund Design" permission so that this can be accomplished?

  17. When adding an account group in the financial view, it would be helpful to be able to have a box "select all" accounts and then unselect the ones that are not needed. Otherwise, it takes a long time to select a large group of accounts.

  18. Currently, the Grant Notify feature sends one notification email per grant when grants are posted or unposted. When multiple grants from a single fund are posted at the same time, advisors receive multiple separate emails, one for each grant.
    I am requesting an enhancement that would allow multiple grants posted from the same fund at the same time to be included in a single, consolidated email notification to the fund advisor.

  19. Right now you have to copy a note to a profile or fund - there is no way to automatically, upon the time of note creation, to link to multiple profiles for funds. For instance, when we add a note to an individual profile, it would be far more efficient to choose to link at the time of note creation to their workplace, other profiles, or to multiple funds.

  20. Could you all add more customization options for colors? I've been able to edit a lot using CSS, but I know that isn't an option for most people. Here are colors that I've manually modified or am working on finding the code to modify to match our branding:

    • Underscore on the current tab in the top menu (Giving Hub and Portal) that lists profile/funds/logout (portal) or funds/campaigns/grant catalog (giving hub)
    • Background color behind login form
    • Selection color for dropdown/fund changer in fund portal (and background color - if you set the background to anything other than white, it affects the…
